^You should see the magnificent threeway high five they have later.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Akira
Nailed it,though some panel of shit getting apocalypticly wrecked would have done the job as well.

That was awesome too, but compared to the first one it felt "too normal" (especially when it was like 4-5 pages after).

One also has to notice that blood spurting from Zepelli's free hand can be mistaken as his fingers, giving the impresion that he's making "rock on" sign with his free hand.

Even for a bot it's kinda weird to ask something like that.
Anyway.

This is my favorite too!
Series: Denpa Kyoushi
!
It's a story about this nerd teacher who teaches his student through the most nerdy, unconventional ways imaginable, like RPG games and stuff. It goes at a rather brisk pace, and is at heart a conflict of interest type of series that can let you get lost in the moment forgetting that. It's really cute & I like it a lot. The teacher, under the guise of an otaku, is definitely a mary sue, though. But… what can ya do? It's fiction, why wouldn't you self-insert as an awesome character? Mary sues have never really bothered me unless they're just completely and utterly a diamond without scratches. Plus he's inspiring in his own way.
It is late at night, I just wanted to portray that the series isn't just held in the classroom with that panel. It's really quite often outside of the classroom.

So the latest Toriko chapter left me spoilt for choice for which panel best sums up the series:

Kongoh Bancho:

It was incredibly hard to find one for Kongoh Bancho. There were so many more I wanted to use.

I like Blackbeard's "Dreams" speech for One Piece as someone posted.
A friend and I worked together to come up with a few.

Just started into Magi, but of the first twenty or so chapters, this would be my pick:
!
From Animal Land by Makoto Raiku
!
The scanlations are done by Kewl's group (The one doing Toriko) and the official translation for Kodansha USA is done by Stephen.
Shin Angyo Onshi (manhwa)
!
Baketeriya
!
That series is pretty much what I wanted Nura to be like.
One Piece…Two of my (many) favorite pages/panels.

Berserk (and everything else from chapter 305)

Claymore

Breathin' some life into this awesome thread! Feel free to contribute to this thread when you can, guys, even if someone has already done a series you wanted to do! (there's repeats in here anyway)

One Piece

Hajime No Ippo

I want to find a good one for Yakitate Japan as well since that manga is hilarious.
Hajime no Ippo
!
Another good one from Sket Dance:
!
Boys on the run: (actually two panels)
!
!
The first part gave me the worst feelings of pity and sadness I've ever had from reading a manga, though. I can't say it hits too close to home, but man, that humiliation never ended…
But now it's starting to get better. Of course the manga has already ended a long time ago, but I've never read any translated version.
One Piece

Real Naruto:

Berserk

Hah… still only can say "wow" looking at that art and detail of it. That is why I show it to people who have prejudices against manga.
Another one from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō, because:

Because it's the best, obviously. It's always jam-packed with action. :)[/hide]
Man I've got so many on my list this took forever to do… ok, let's go:
One Piece:
! I know this isn't realla manga panel, but I discovered One Piece one day on my TV on RTL 2 Pokito (German channel) and my bro told me he thought it was kinda funny when he was that scene of how they entered Drum Island and Luffy only noticed a few minutes later how cold it was well anyway, I first saw a episode where they were on Usopp island but then never follow on until I got to this episode one day, and this scene just got me hooked. It's not as epic as most of the other ones here but the emotions it gave me was great! These Laphan literally tried to kill Luffy and Sanji even though they just wanted to save Nami, and Sanji even ended up being hurt and is now being carried by Luffy, and I know it was evil, but when I saw that Laphan buried I kinda thought "serves you right" and then Luffy comes with injured Sanji and saves this poor baby Laphans parent even after all that happened… just GREAT!
Slam Dunk:
! Couldn't find a better version of it, but this pic really got me… after this I just wanted to keep reading to see how far Sakuragi would get with this talent he didn't even know he had.... plus the comdey was good
Sun Ken Rock:
! There were many scenes way more epic then this one, like when he came to save the girls from those bikers and the look on his face and all, since we're talking getting hooked, it would have to be a pic from the first chapter after all, and this one did it for me tbh… I'm so happy it did, cos this manga is one of the tops when it come to art and epic moments!
Terra Formers:
! Great manga, and this panel just got to me… the creepiness in this just had me hooked, I mean look at those creepy black things (no racism intended) shit! Too bad there's only been like 6 chapters for this manga so far, still waiting for more :/
Basilisk:
! Just cos.
Hammer Session:
! Just had me interested what would happen next tbh…
Buster Keel:
! just lol XD
Gambler Fish:
! Definitely had me hooked from there on
Kongou Bancho:
! that was a surprise even for me lol I was expecting the usual "He came with nothing at all… just his fists!" talk XD
Akumetsu:
! Just loved the first chapter straight up… The art and story were so great, I loved it too much XD
Wolf Guy - Wolf Crescent:
! Same artist as Akumetsu, and I just loved the immortality idea lol always has people shocked XD
Tough:
! Dat excersise
Eyeshield 21:
!
I think those are more then enough for now :p
Drake, that's a good one indeed.
Drake, that's a good one indeed.
Which one? :0
…
Heres a few more!
Hajime no Ippo
!
!
! I wouldn't say this one describes the whole series in one panel, but it was super awesome and weird to see Ippo like this.
!
!
!
And heres a couple from :
Shingeki no Kyojin
!
!
Ippo… is not Ippo without Takamura...just saying.
ALSO
FMA Brotherhood:! http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u230/truenewman/19_zps040b2209.jpeg
God…When I get some free time I'm gonna see if I can find the name for this trope and see how many times it's been used lol.

Doesn't make it any less awesome though :3
If the writer isn't an idiot, it can be used brilliantly.

I think Cyclone meant when you block an attack by turning your back to the enemy so you can have a meaningful glance to the saved person before death/getting KOed (a la Ace, Hoenheim, and Neji)

That one is the tropiest, there's no specific of "looking at you" trope.
At least Piccolo faced the attack lol. But I felt he had loads of time to get himself out of the way. Anyways totally off topic lol.
So yes it can be used well…but rarely. That scene from FMA I actually forgot about.

Although for me the primary reason I liked this scene so much is because not to long before Hohenheim does that, Al does it to protect Mae.
So it was rad seeing the similarities in personality between Al and Hohenheim :3.
