The title placement makes even less sense reading the chapters in volume format, especially for a weekly. Just 4 pages in would be pushing it.
The more Kishi explained how Izanami worked, the stronger I felt my comprehension being sucked away. By the time Itachi came to the point of Kabuto accepting himself I already stopped trying to understand. What for? It won't add flavour or play an important role later.
And Bleach was okay. Kubo found a nice way to power-up his quincies so they can stand a chance against Ichigo. Sadly, he will probably ruin this creative yet simple power-up. At least I hope to see some interesting designs when reiatsu concentration camp will be used again. I kinda like how Fritz looks now. But shouldn't he be able to absorb getsuga, since everything is reiatsu? And make every shinigami almost useless.
Also we will see half-naked Matsumoto and Haribell (yes, she can still get further stripped off), after someone tries to absorb them, but will be stopped midway. Kubo won't let such a chance slide.
"Art" wise this might've been the worst bleach chapter in several weeks.

And Kabuto had the same motivation as Naruto did in the beginning. Is Kishi trying to draw some kinda parallel as to "what Naruto could've turned out like"? I thought we already had that covered with Gaara.
Every time, every fucking time, Kishi just has to give a dying villain a flashback to say "WELL HE WASNT SOOOO BAD"
But that does make sense. It's not well executed, of course, but I like my villains Naruto-style: with explanations as to how they got that way. The alternative is a villain who's just always been evil, like fucking Aizen.
Then there are the villains who don't need backstories, like Deidara.
I hate that with Naruto I've gotten to the point of TL;DR with anything dealing with the Uchihas. It rarely makes sense to me anyways. I was really confused by those random two ninja. Did one if them say they don't care about the war :blink:?
Bleach I enjoyed but was also slightly irritated with lol. I like Opie being a reiatsu vacuum and yet another design change. I dislike the panel wasting on newbie characters. I dislike Chad and Orihime being burdens yet again. I like that Ichigo might get his ass handed to him. I'm holding out that Ishida will show up and provide a counter attack…But I feel that it'll just turn into another Ichigo power up. I'm not sure how Kubo will be able to justify them not getting destroyed by the Quincies. They really are very broken lol.

It defeats the purpose of it being the title. It makes no sense for the title to be so late in the chapter. Even in novels or books in general, the title is in the fore-front, no point in it being at the end.
But why does this matter?
I don't think it does with Bleach. Usually when I see books or manga that have a title page that uses a word or phrase instead of just the number of the chapter, I take it meant it's going to set the tone. But Bleach sometimes doesn't match up anyways lol.

In terms of narration it really breaks the flow of the chapter to have the title in page 15. It looks like an excuse to use a panel that the author didn´t knew how to fill in the first place.

As I start to read the chapter, I wonder if some of the pages are missing at the start, and then once I get into the chapter, this title pops up at a time when no one really cares about it. I am more interested to find out what happens next, than to look at half a page filled with title at the end. Of course it matters, would you like it, if say you were reading a book, and instead of putting the title at the beginning, the title suddenly popped out 3/4th way through. Its even worse when reading it in volumes.
Bleach is designed for the trades, not the weeklies. Title pages being in weird spots are fine as a result.
Hell Garth Ennis had a habit of putting the title page on the very last page of the issue in some cases, like the final issue of "All in the Family" and I don't see them complaining.
It's the fact Kubo does this alot while spilling a whole bottle of ink on each page is what irks people.

Right, but it's still annoying to be reading, say, the third chapter in a volume, and to stumble upon its title on page 14 of that chapter. At that point it's just stupid, since you're only 5 pages away from the next chapter.

I know, but I have downloaded them on my desktop, and then separated the extra stuff from the actual chapters, so that its easy for speed reading. Thats why it gets confusing for me.

If Opie was able to absorb Ayon, how come Ichigo did not get absorbed. Afterall, his body is made of reiatsu as well, and if hollows can be absorbed, shinigami should be possible as well. Right??

But it's not like by Oda where it's a full page with a non-plot related picture, he just adds it in some flashy way during the story. I don't see how it's a problem wherever he puts it. I hardly notice it anymore.

Oda has a separate page for it, and its always the first page. And while not always, but he gives us side stories fom time to time, which is good.
Kubo keeps putting the title anywhere from 5th page to 15th. Its inconsistent and annoying. Even Kishi consistently puts the title on the first page. Its not flashy or anything, but it does its job of being the title. Its stupid for the title to be at the end.
