Does anyone remember Wild Arms?
The first one was my first RPG!

Oh man, that game's 2nd opening kicked ass.

If you not south american then you probably don't know this show :/
3&feature=plpp_video
It's a mexican sitcom called El Chavo/Chaves and it's so funny, even til this day.
makes me wish I was still living in Brasil.

I think I saw this game already in the thread, but whatever.

@Sonic:
[…]
Man, Pirates of Dark Water. Such a nostalgic series. i re-watched it a couple of years back. It held up quite good. Not as good as I remember(what ever is?) it but it was well worth watching it again. :)

@metteminne:
I need to play this game again.

I couldn't find a good version of the 1990's one, so I'll use the new one instead.

All of my nostalgia.
Speaking of which, was anyone watching adult swim just now. They brought Toonami and Tom back!!! If that's not nostalgia, I don't know what is. Though it might only be for April fools, but who cares. :D

-
Why didn't I notice this thread sooner?
Warning: The following videos will cause a severe nostalgia attack for those who watched Nick Jr. in the 90's. Watch at your own risk.

^Oh god, I remember buying my first Beyblade… sniff It was the most awesome thing back then.
yeah, i remember taking my best blade to primary school so i could battle with the other kids.
we sometimes gambled on the games with sweets and pocket change, but somehow the teachers never caught on XDover the years some of them got lost, some of them were broken, etc.
now in my adult life i only have a small fraction of my collection left, but i still have the fond memories.my best blades:

What a nice thread
One of my best memories of my childhood
-
I wish I could find one with better sound. But I watched the hell outta this show as a kid.
-
Not a video, but this image provided plenty of nostalgia for me. Too lazy to see if it was already posted.
-
I created this thread to share memories of games (any kind) we used to play (and why not, even play nowadays).
Can be board game, toy, or games with your friends. As long as you had good memories, is worth.
Let's start with the creator of this thread, ok ?
When I was a child. I never used to leave my house, so I had a lot of toys (mostly musical, like a toy accordion and toy keyboard), I was never a fan of plush, I only had 2 (one armadillo and one iguana).
But board games, I had several of those, I loved playing with my parents.
In school, I used to play several games (minus the sports one like soccer and volleyball), games like "butter bar" tag, hide and seeks, in addition to games of make believe, logically based on pokemon, and other famous things at the time.
Now I have Video Games…That´s good ?..or this or affects the socialization ? Well...I cant´say right now, but..that´s evolution of games in our life.
-
This should probably have been posted to the Nostalgia Thread. It doesn't really warrant its own thread.
-
Rachet and Clank
-
Hopscotch. Snakes and ladders. Solitaire (still play this).
Oh, when I was a kid we had something called ZapSpot, and I used to play it devotedly. I could rotate between those few games for hours. Bubble Bound was my favourite and I still miss it sometimes.
-
oh cool, the nostalgia thread was bumped.

I loved this show as well. It was really dark for a kids show.
Xanatos was the effing man.

Sweet, heartwrenching nostalgia. ._.

These ponies:

They were my 3 top favorite and my mom threw them out at some point when I wasn't looking… ;^; I can actually remember how I got all but the Bride one. I'll never forgive her for this one... And I used to have the biggest collection of MLP. You can't imagine how many pony figures I had. xD Whatever pony would come out, I'd get it. Not to mention the stablescries in a corner
-
I used to watch these shows all the time when i was little.
I didn't really remember them until someone started singing one of these song. Now they make me sad :(
Playhouse Disney was awesome.

This reminds me of Polly Pocket! I used to play it every single day. We had a little doll mansion with parts that could move. I made them visit each other and play and chat and quarrel and stuff. I also had another variation of it which was a treehouse with a swing. <3

I LOVE the G1 ponies, I have acquired a few and I think they are most superior to the more modern ones. Especially the Teeny Tiny Ponies CUTESTTHINGSEVERAHHHHH <3
Unfortunately I was born at the tail-end of G1 so there WERE no ponies around at my young tender ages :( I was in late elementary school I believe when they came back around with G3, but of course then I was all POKEMONDIGIMONWEEEE so I didn't notice. I would've been more into ponies from like 2-6.
And Beyblade <3 I never bought a physical beyblade, I was dissapointed that they seemed so much bigger on the show. I played the shit out of the Gamecube game and I loved the first and second series to death. I still haven't quite finished my way through G-Rev, but Tyson's whining and bitching and emo in this series is a little much. I'll try to finish it again.
As for nostalgic old meatspace games… Hungry Hungry Hippos, Don't Break The Ice, POKEMON MONOPOLY <3.. Then of course stuff like Trouble and Sorry but I still play that from time to time.
HEY EUROPEANS~~~ When I was younger I knew some kids who had some kind of card game that was European in origin, I think the actual game box they had was in swedish or german or polish or something ((Edit: The more I think about I'm PRETTY sure it had a Swedish name). This was way back before I knew what these languages even are and I haven't seen it in many years so I can't be more specific DX). I think it had a lot of car or traffic symbols or signs I think, and it was this skill game you'd play with the cards. I honestly cannot think of much more then that, but it had a bit of skill to it and I really enjoyed playing it. It's been so many years and searching "swedish card game" or etc doesn't really turn anything up. Does anyone have any idea of what this might be? Apparently it was a popular game, so I was told. These cards looked as old or older then I was (and I'm 22 now) at the time, it kinda seemed 70s or 80s-esque.

it might be the nostalgia within me talking, but i say you should keep watching.
in my experience it was totally worth it. G-rev is my favourite beyblade series.
once tyson gets out of his funk, the series takes an upward turn and he starts kicking ass again.there are so many awesome fights to come, including the tyson vs kai showdown in the tournament final.
that's one of the best beyblade battles there has ever been. seriously. from the animation to the attacks, everything was full throttle.and then wait until you get to the second part of the plot, where BEGA and the metal blades are introduced.
every single one of the bladebreakers has a very good battle against their BEGA opponents, especially Ray and Kai.
Kai vs Brooklyn is another one of my favourite battles, helped by the fact that he also delivers a great speech. -

Noooo I sucked ass at folding those properly D:
@Carnage: I tried to look around but I don't believe that was it. There was no writing on most of these cards, and very simple one-two words on some of the cards, i think anyway.

I decided to continue my personal Slam Dunk nostalgia trip by rewatching the anime. Doing so reminded me of this.

Was just following related video links on Youtube, eventually ended up at this. So many memories.
