Got a new digital camera because hey, why the hell not and I won't have to use my brother's camera anymore.
With that in mind, I guess I'll try showing off something I did each week of 2012 (maybe). Just to spur me on to get more active then I am.
Well, this year I'm learning to cook because, well, I thought I would learn to do it when I moved out of the house but I don't know when that will actually happen now.
Here's my first ever dish (the leftovers, the camera was still charging when I finished it):

Here's our cat, named AP:

The name stands for Angel Pirate, quite a while before One Piece even existed. We've had him since he was a kitten and his eye was scratched out by one of his siblings. :sad:
He's fat, lazy, needy and skittish, but he's also the most loving animal in our household and is pretty much the Marley of our family.
Also, I should've named him Fortesque. Would've been much more awesome.[/hide]
And here's a picture I drew:

I'm taking a six week (free) class where drawing is basically taught. Our first assignment was doing a picture using only lines. In this case, I copied a class copy of a coloring book kind of page and added our own style to it. In the future we'll be using oils and pastels to express ourselves. Part of the reason I bought the camera is so I can photograph scenery worth drawing, and next week should be a bitchin' view of Chino Hills. I'll share them in case you guys are curious about what I can do.
I might also take this class more than once, since other students are doing so to keep improving.[/hide]
