@Hiroy:
Nitpicking at the tiniest little things?
Sure. Vemon is my Spiderman.
Naturally reacting to reveals like God/Fire+Lightning Slayur Majickz, Hade's poorly guarded Heart, 7 year time-skip that was not really a time-skip, and goofing around for 3 months while the rest of your friends are training BUUUT given a powerup by an engaged lovestruck Gerard anyway? Vemon is everyone's Spiderman.
Bit of a typ- whatever.
Realy, I don't get pissed off at FT unless Hiro does something horrible, like for example, involving a character not seen for several arcs in a guild tournament and have them and them alone excesively kicked out offscreen, while the hero pisses his pants but still gets to pass when he realised what "losing" means (only to forget it), this type of stuff gets to me. That and retcons that alter the space time continuum for no discernable reason.
When Hiro does something well I am well and truly able to praise him. Hell I liked how in Rave he killed off Haru's dad right after they beat King. It's that type of "things happen that you can't do anything about" vibe that is totaly missing in Fairy Tail. It's like as Hiro got older he became pathologicaly afraid of actualy affecting his audience in the most slightly negative way, so when Natsu and co. were gone for one whole chapter, he immediately had to end that chapter by reassuring the audience that they're coming back, and have them come back next chapter, making the whole timeskip and the flashforward to it just utterly worthless.
It's like Hiro is constantly trying to make something better, but he keeps pulling back at the last second because he wants the kiddies to stay happy and content.
