-You know Neptune is a pretty inept king. Should have been easy to investigate where the pills went to but he kept it on the down-low. Now he throws a party instead of damage control which should have easily told them they were low on candy stock. So regular citizens and soldiers are in hospital beds while healthy people give the SH gifts and the king throws a party? Oh and his daughter would have been kidnapped if not for the SH because he said fuck it to chasing the thief. I like the guy but his character or Oda's writing on these points is kinda dumb. Can you imagine the SH throwing a party after Enies Lobby if the marines had buster called W7 first?
-Was Big Mam's wrath really not at the top of their priority list? Minister seems pretty casual about not making this months payment despite claiming she'll destroy an entire nation for not getting what she wants. We see peoples reaction to the idea WB will be angry and how much nobody wanted to mess with Shank or Rayleigh but Big Mam isn't getting the same type of shit-faces. I don't think that indicative of how scary or strong she is just more odd character interactions like many this arc. Next Chapter I expect shit faces or something is a miss.
