Ichigos BANKAI looks so freaking sexy and also cool too AND he just trolled me the shit out! Cause i tought he would be worried and mad again and said Ishida to shut up but in this Chapter he just acts again cool!
God Ichigo you got me!
Ichigo, you scamp!!
Ichigo, you scamp!!
Is there a fetish for black feudal era japan robes I'm not aware of ?
read the chapter….It is average but good. So Ichigo already discover that the badge is worthless. Then, he makes a speech about friendship and protecting. It sounds similar when he rescued Rukia and had fought with Aizen.
One criticism–-It seems that Bleach don't have a "main plot" and lacking of it. It just feel we haven't figure out whats going on in Bleach. After Ichigo defeat Ginjou, then what?
Anyway, good chapter.
Break on through to the light, you're so close, aaaaaaaaaah
Break on through to the light, you're so close, aaaaaaaaaah
Dammit man, stop it. They're all damned, YOU CAN'T SAVE THEM !
The question now is does Ichigo still have SHirosaki inside him? Can he still wear a Hollow mask and more importantly does have full control over Zangetsu and Shirosaki's combined powers?
Ginjou looks like he has Hollow powers built into his Fullbring.
PS- I would LOVE it if the new manifestation of Zangetsu was Female.
Is called Self-Awareness, Self-Realization. Ichigo was fighting himself, seeing himself, now face-to-face with himself. Your enemy is also yourself when you have fully awaken.
Female Zangetsu for nakamate

Well on the plus side having a competent set of boobs in the cast would be a welcome change of format.
This is all reminding me of Yusuke vs Sensui in a really good way. Specifically this scene:
!
Took you that long huh
wtf is wrong with Sensui's neck
so the Rock Lee chibi comic is getting an anime??
Cliffnotes version: Everybody helped me, so I'll protect them. Also, Ukitake is way smarter than me so if he really wanted to pull a fast one on me, I would never have thought of him as suspicious in the first place!
I like how in Bleach, a single round of dialogue takes an entire chapter.
I thank you. Yeah, Bleach pacing is the worst I've ever had the misfortune to read. That probably goes for everyone else too.
Bleach: I'm not sure when white-hair is a power up, but I remember Fist of the North Star had it. Unsurprisingly uneventful, but I like the fact Kubo accepts trolling as art.
Naruto: Am I psychotic to think zombie chicks are hot? Is Killer Bee a psycho?
This is an avatar over at Bleach Asylum. that is all
Glib, if you don't stop dragin BA's filth over here, I'm gonna violate you with a spork.
Did Hody just jump over to Bleach?
Well Bleach is still doing what it does. Unleash new powerups constantly and new looks. Meanwhile the typical bleach scenerio, an enemy says Soul Society is screwing Ichigo over, and he goes "I knew they were doing something, but I trust them" Which is getting annoying to hear over and over, but like I said last week, I never got why Ginjou though what soul society did was so bad, it only made perfect sense that they would do what they did. It never put Ichigo in danger, he got his power and was able to save people, just like he wanted.
As for Naruto, decent chapter just on fact was exciting fighting. Though hate to say that when it involves both stupid ass eyes. God why does every enemy have to have a sharingan. By the time Naruto fights Sasuke he shouldn't even be fazed by Sasuke's LOLELY sharingan.
Sasuke will evolve a new type of sharingan beyond even permanent mangekyou, and its power's only weakness is that the new eye's super special pupil will look like an unsexy, ordinary trapezoid.
Ginjou has nice hair. I wonder which shampoo he uses.
Naruto… Reading it is a good study in how not to write... What the fuck does the Rinnegan do, anyways? It's some eye thing that is a combination of all other eyes, but doesn't have any of the powers of other eyes. It can see from other Rinnegan as one field of vision, I guess, if people have black spikes in them and are being remote controlled from a distance by another source as corpses? Aren't they already under control, anyways? This is like some kind of clusterfuck multi-car pileup of plotpoints and ideas that met each other face to face and vehemently refused to accommodate each other.
Bleach: I'm not sure when white-hair is a power up, but I remember Fist of the North Star had it.
Wasn't then when Rei literally had to use every little inch of power to keep living and the strain of doing so turned his hair white? Because that's not really an example.
Oh, lord. Here we go again. I'll down a bottle of lemon cello for this.
Gosh, watching Renji and Rukia interact is like watching an Olsen Twins movie. It's just cheap. Okay, we get it. Bleach loves to draw out and repeatedly show people's concern for each other. Or Ichigo, mostly. Plus, what's with the steady zoom in on the backs of ears? Is this some sort of depth in storytelling that I need a submarine for?
Haha, Pixel's box busted. BUT HOW THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. Yeah, the Titanic was unsinkable, you splinter.
Box breaks and on shards of dark matter do we get the title. (I still can't get over the hotdog one from a couple months ago. Jesus Christ.) And in the most obvious twist in all of Bleach's history, Ichigo bursts from the box in his old and still tattered uniform. Wielding his sword and a pouty look.Coach Loud Mouth tries to quote the Joker and then taunts Ichigo some more. (75% of Ichigo's enemies do nothing but taunt. That boy must have nerves of steel, cry for several hours at night or a hell of a diary.) At least this time, he tell him to shut up without breaking his jaw.
Ichigo: "It makes so much sense! Since I can't tell my head from a lit wick, Ukitake could have EASILY taken advantage of me! Since me and my friends are all pants-on-head retarded, it's so easy! But I noticed! But I didn't say anything! But I get it! He made is all screwy BECAUSE I'm too blind to see! Thanks, Ukitake!"
Oh, please. This speech of protecting has been done about twenty-five times. So, Coach uses Ban Kai and JESUS WHAT IS THAT. Did Hell spit up its janitor?
You know what, sue me, I actually like Ichigo's new Bankai form. Yeah, sure, it's just his old one with a few new decals, but it's still a relatively restrained and functional design compared to undead Ginjo Jones over here.
The new criss-cross thingy in the middle is snazzy.
I don't mind Ichigo's new outfit either, it's just that if he didn't get so many new looks all the time I wouldn't be miffed at another costume change.
Alas, as long as Kubo thinks the most important thing about a character is that they look cool, we're gonna get a lot more in the future.
@RobbyBevard:
Haki imbued gear 3 storm should count, yes. Its a combination of attacks to make a new one.
I think you misunderstood me; if Luffy shouted out a move with a name like that by all means it would count, but I was referring to the sucession of unnamed attacks Luffy used to bat Hody around at the start of 637.
@RobbyBevard:
Which is what 93% of Dragonball was. In the air. They had a lot of fisticuffs and punching.
Yes, but I was specifically referring to named attacks, and not unnamed combos. If everything like that is suddenly a new "technique" despite being situational and one-shot, then the official attack list of characters would swell incredibly to include stuff like "Rubber impact" (initial attack volley that launched Arlong into the wall) or "Rubber judgement launcher" (attack sequence that launched Crocodile into the air).
@RobbyBevard:
And transformations and variants DO count, they exhaust time and energy and most of them involved training to achieve. If they don't, then Naruto and Kakashi's limited movesets dwindle down to nothing.
See with Transformations I don't think they can be considered as much a "move" as a gateway to an expanded moveset. In the case of Naruto, his Kyuubi form can do stuff he otherwise can't with the chakra arms and so, and when in Gear Third Luffys moves change attributes. In cases like that, the transformation actually affects and alters the fighting style of the person transformed, and while I would never classify the transformation itself as a "combat move", I'd have no problem with using them as examples of the diversity of the users fighting style.
But then theres tranformations like Super Sayan and Ichigos bankai and Hollow mask, that do nothing but crank up some arbitrary power level. Does the fighting style of the user change in the slightest upon transformation, do they get any moves they didn't have before? Obviously the transformations have a purpose, but it doesn't change the fact that Ichigos fighting style is moving fast and shooting swordbeams.
Before unleashing my wrath on Bleach, I'll just need to let some things out of my system concerning Naruto:
Why the in all the fiery ninja Hells do these things have the Bijuu inside them!??! That is just about the absolute worst idea Tobidara could possibly have! Instead of containing them in the Godzillasized death machine you can hide away wherever summoned things go, you stuff them into zombies and TAKE THEM TO THE FRONT?!! What if you lose one of the zombies Tobi, what then? What if it gets destroyed or sealed and you lose the beast? How does your Moons Eye plan work out then, military fucking genius?!
And this just after Outerspec had, made a good case for them retaining some beast powers, and proven that the zombies were regular Edo zombies. Seriously, what the hell are those chakra recievers doing there, they were resurrected by Kabuto the exact same way as the rest of their undead fighting force.
You know what, sue me, I actually like Ichigo's new Bankai form. Yeah, sure, it's just his old one with a few new decals, but it's still a relatively restrained and functional design compared to undead Ginjo Jones over here.
And yet I would have actually liked for Ichigo to keep that. 1, it would present some fucking change, post timeskip and two, it would be kind of more individual then the same bland shinigami robes every shinigami so far was wearing.
On the Rock Lee Anime: The news has just filled my heart with rainbows
This chapter was pretty bad. I felt Rukia was a bit out of character for the way she spoke up. I'm just assuming it's Riruka taking over. Also Ginjo has a weird mouth, he looks like a fish. I'm not too surprised about more costume changes even though they just had one several chapters ago…But I think we already established that Kubo wishes to be a fashion designer above all. Bleach isn't a manga, it's the preview for Kubo's spring line.
Naruto was very meh. Been over the eye magic for a while now. Bored now, show us something new and interesting.
Ichigo wants power… to protect people? What amazing charachter development! It'not like he's been protecting his friends since day 1 and got his powers because he wanted to protect his family. Is this series always this poorly written?
You know what, sue me, I actually like Ichigo's new Bankai form.
I like it too… but holy shit... is this his 10th (++!) transformation so far?
And people had the balls to complain about Goku's myriad of transformations (and Majin Buu caught some flak too), but Ichigo is testing the patience and free time of any Bleach fans out there xD
I feel for you guys :<

No, her scenes with Ichigo when she first appeared this arc were just as forced.
So Killer Bee even rhymes in his thoughts? Awesome.
Now it's time for Meta Reviews Bleach.
Okay, if there was ever a chapter where someone needed to prove Kubo wastes panels/pages, here it is. I mean, seriously, Rukia witnessing the game box dissolve was one whole page. Ginjou transforming was one whole page. A shot of clouds was one whole page.
But this is not new. How come Rukia says her shoulder hurt….didn't Riruka make a whole in her chest? (you know, I'm starting to buy into the theory Riruka possessed her or something.) And why does Kubo have to show the backs of Byakuya//Hitsugaya/Kenpachi/Ikkaku three times this chapter? I'm a little curious. And I thought Yukio was bound by a promise to Ginjou not to destroy the game box, not that he physically couldn't. Someone help me out here?
I want to give Ichigo credit for telling Ishida and Ginjou to shut up, but Kubo, you're telling me Ichigo was suspicious all along? That he suspected Ukitake was committing foul play? What? Or maybe he's trying to counter-troll Ginjou? Either way, I had a hard time following his speech.
Here's the final question here…..how can Ginjou use Bankai? I was under the impression he only took Ichigo's Fullbring.

I think that was a joke about how Renji was squeezing her shoulders.
Reading Bleach.
Ichigo looks like a Kingdom hearts character. And dude, I'll say it again: why the Xes? Ichigo, you do know Xcution is evil, right?
And figures that despite his new powers having absolutely no relation to his old, being based on a reiatsu hodepodge, his Bankai is still essentially the same. Change robes, get longer sword. But I really shouldn't have expected Kubo to jump at the chance of a Clean Slate and give Ichigo something new and interesting, since he basically stated in the interview that "no, I do not have the balls to go out of my readers comfort zone".
The Kamen Rider suit being a scheme to "freak people out" is total bullshit by the way, as the story already had made it clear that it was a temporary deal, a step on the way to getting shinigami powers again. The circumstances changed, but the entire arc revolved aound Ichigo getting that uniform again, so whoooo big shocker Kubo.
Edit: can you guys believe this is Ichigos FIFTH powerup this arc? And twelfth overall, not counting bogus "resolve" boosts, Saiyan Genes, and mask changes?

Ah, whoops.
Ginjou and Ichigo's new outfits are just way too overdesigned. I don't think either of them are that bad, it's just like I said earlier, it's like taking a guitar and putting a bunch of stickers on it. It ruins the visual aesthetic.

Seriously, we're going to have to be looking at this one for a good long while.

Btw did anyone post a full link to that interview ?
I won't lie Ichigo's new bankai sword is pretty cool looking.

Seriously, we're going to have to be looking at this one for a good long while.
I really should be thinking that, but I guess I'm going in with the mindset that they're not THAT terrible. And chances if I know my Bleach they'll transform into all sorts of other things soon enough so these designs are likely temporary anyways.

Huh ? I kinda just faze him out while I read, so tell me, does it actually look any different ?

Huh? Reiatsu shooting badge, sketchy black suit, Power Ranger armor, new Shikai, new Bankai-
Son of a bitch.

Natsu wishes he had Ichigo's bullshit luck to find shady people to give him improbable powerups.
So he just sticks to drugs :ninja:
Naruto: Okay, aside from how completely shameless the whole zombie boobs thing is, just….what the fuck is up with this chakra receiver shit? Weren't the Jinchuuriki already revived through Edo Tensei, a technique that allows them free movement, but also forces them to follow the orders of the controller? And now Tobi puts receivers in them so they can have free moment, but also must follow the orders of the controller? What's the freaking point? Will they really "die" when the chakra receivers are removed? Shouldn't the Edo Tensei still be in effect? I don't get this at all.
Bleach: Why is Rukia making such a big deal about them not breaking the black box? I mean, is this an important plot point? Apparently not since Ichigo just breaks it a few pages later anyway and they never explain to her why they won't attack.
And what the hell was up with Kubo showing backviews of the Shinigami? TWICE! And those stupid two page bankai spreads. This padding is so obvious it hurts.
And of course more nonsense with Ukitake, which is really just more of the same we had last week. Oy, Bleach.

Tobi has not confirmed Hachibi's assumption at all. The rods make Tobi in control of the Jins. He never revived them.

I am not sure, but they won't have Rinnegan anymore and they needed shared vision. I think they still need to get sealed. Tobi still didn't mention wat he did.
