Yeah, I thought that to and was totally excited; I thought someone actually strong was going to show up. But if you look closer Decken's arm slips and he falls and hits his head, knocking him out. Or maybe thats what Oda wants us to think. :ninja:

Thank you, the Brook being immune to the squid spears was the most hilarious part in my opinion. Both his and Ikaros' reaction were great.

Nami has an awesome lightning whip, wonder how many other new attacks she has.
Brook was funny accidently (or was it) taking that attack, and he also withstood the headbutt attack like a pro, didn't even look like he took damage from it.
Chopper is doing a good job of staying in my top 3 favorite strawhats spot. Love his post time-skip attitude.
Usopp is great in how is both confident and scared at same time, lol, plus wow what a great move. Looked like he has a giant napalm attack or something.

Wow, I certainly didn't expect some of thos match-ups. I think everyone expected Chopper to fight Daruma, but nope. And I'm loving the fact that Brook is fighting Zeo, that should be a great fight! Still, I expected him to fight Ikaros though. :P
But wait, Robin doesn't have a match-up now… That's kind of strange.

And regarding the girls not fighting: Them being "saved" was so blatantly shown by Oda, that I really think this might be a setup! They´ll probably get so underestimated, that they´ll whoop some ass big time!! (or that´s at least what I hope :D)

Anyway I am loving that the mid bosses fights are starting but I relly want to see Nico Robin finally taking on someone who is above fodder and with some truly creative attacks and not just teh regular neck breaking or the current stomping

Edit: I now have an idea for a NW island, where the architecture is based on slides and ramps… and the people are half-vehicle cyborgs. I'm not sure what to say about it.

This chapter had one of the best endings possible. Everyone decides to protect VDD so the ship doesn't just fall, and the idiot goes ahead and goes unconscious from hitting his head. Freaking priceless, love that character.
Also, Zeo's denial is awesome.

Oh, in terms of story Fishman Island hasn't been that quick, but the action was really nice this chapter. One Piece is sort of slow with that in general, seeing that it hasn't ended after 640 chapters.
I've reached the conclusion that I might as well enjoy the action as well as the story and be patient with the series. -

Or it could have been the combination of his explosives and an easily flammable grass that essentially boosted the explosives' power. Oda's just easing us into knowing more about the different techniques they display anyway. Impatient Robin fans will have to wait for two weeks until they can see her in action. The pace has slowed, but there's lots of things happening at once, so it takes longer to show it all.

I like to think he combined a plant that exudes a gasious vapor with some of his older moves like flame dial type of thing. This causing a GIANT explosion. Could be wrong and just a pop green, but don't worry I'm sure we will see him COMBINE stuff later on.

So Ussop and Chopper's battle is a double team like Alabasta I'm assuming. Cool.
Just the opposite. You can see how Usopp realizes he has no back up from Chopper, not to mention their VS boxes are completely seperated unlike Jinbe's and Sanji's. Usopp has to take that guy down on his own! YES!
Robin and Nami will get a fight I can feel it. Just wait for A and B to drop in to give Wadatsumi support!

Well it's a bit unfair to put it that way. (and it's not like bleach needs you do be unfair with it :p). You say that One piece has seven arc and bleach 4…but they don't have the same number of chapter and when one piece was at chapter 465, we were in the middle of thriller bark. So 5 arcs. Still more than bleach but not this much.

Since both hodi and hyouzou have awoken, am assuming that wadatsumi will be a punching bag for sanji and jimbei until he awakens too, it should make the fight a bite more interesting, he seems like the type that can take pain well, or he will get KO before anything happens.

I hope that Chopper keeps up this confidence. It really shows how he's matured over the two years (Although to be fair it wasn't till mid-Skypiea where he turned into a crybaby. Prior to that he wasn't so much.)
