I would never get rid of my moustache!
Also, I make little sense right now!

Why? Are you really energetic?
-
my day has been good but I'm really posting to pass this on
the whole time I was watching this I was talking out loud like "no way!!!!" "oh my god holy shit!!" "no way bitch don't you use two!!" "aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh" "AAAAAAAAA" "CRIES"
-
OMG was today so awesome! XD
I came back from my first out of three days at San Japan 4TW, an anime convention at San Antonio, TX.
I was hugging and taking pictures with Grell and Undertaker [both from Black Butler] cosplayers. My favorite one was the Cheshire Cat Grell cosplayer who was literally a man.
I bought an awesome Luffy t-shirt, a Laboon plush, an Emporio Ivankov cell phone charm, and a Shinra keychain [from Durarara!!].The best part of this all: I WAS ON TV! @O@ I appear in the last 10 seconds of the video wearing a Frog Hat, a Straw Hat on the back of my neck, and holding my Laboon plush. Video with me right here. =]

Whew~~ sorting through junk is tougher than it seems. But my room is now practically empty after days of working. It's really strange to uncover all this stuff that's just been sitting gathering dust. I found my special red tie in the process (actually my dad found it in one of the first places I looked :wassat:). I still have to keep going back to the house to organize things, but it's getting better. It's hard breathing all that dust, but at least we're not staying at the house as long to clear out stuff.
Today I went practicing driving with my bro, and it wasn't as bad as before, honestly. Even though I was being such a grouch about it beforehand. Also, lately I've been watching some Richard Dawkins' stuff on Youtube. I love his blinking frowny face as we liked to call it. And I kept thinking of Nia because pigeons kept cropping up somehow. Who knew? Pigeons are actually important to history!!
I wonder how long I've been gone for anyway? Since taking my break, I haven't been keeping track. It feels like a really long time has passed even though I don't think it's been a full week. It's weird how time flows differently.
-
Well, today was so cold that I got out of bed at 15:00, to go to work at 18:00.
My job? It was cool despite a Infortune comment that a teacher made to me "You're not ready for it" (It = responsibility), something else. They want to translate all the surnames of the authors in Portuguese to English "it makes it easier" they said.
Yeah, alright.. "easy"… ¬¬
My classes start this Monday, so I better sleep early.
-
Ugh…I did something totally out of character today, thought things totally out of character today, and stressed out over them.
Now that I'm calm they're really no big deal, but it's something I still worry about because it could signify future problems. -
Came back from the Meatloaf concert today. That man still has it in him despite being nearly 64 years old. It twas a good experience~
-
Le Arggghé! How hard can it be to find some Luffy cosplay material? VERY! The vest right? They have it in all colours BUT red! Both in Turkey and in Denmark! In pink, green, blue even orange! Oh and the strawhat… I looked for one today. They have tons here and I found the perfect one! With the colour, shape and everything EXCEPT it had a flower on it! I like flowers but if I'm gonna do a first-ever-cosplay I want to do it right! I wanted my last night to be Luffy style. Gotta do it without the clothes then. Le meh. Every night we go to the beach to splash around 'n stuff but tonight I'm wearing my bikini under my clothes to swim. The question is... Should I bring a towel? How sassy.

Wow I heard about the concert. So it turned out good after all.

My mom said I'd be a great linguist. I like grammar (even though it's really hard sometimes) and I somehow have it in myself. How should I say this… I feel grammar is what I can truly understand and love and such.
I'm having a hard time expressing myself in English right now…Today, again, I wen to my grandma and grandpa and great-grandma. I couldn't wait to ask more radioactive questions (sounds weird~) and my grandpa even showed me a little gadget thingy which is used to measure the radiation consumed(is that the right word?) by the human body. My grandpa said that if I'm interested in these things I could easily be a… person who works with something connected to radiation and nuclear stuff and etc. I don't even know what are those called in my language! Heh...
I decided I'll try to do both. Linguistics because I love languages, especially my own, and I feel it's something that I can love.
Radioactive stuff because it seems I'm really interested in these stuff and I have the brain to learn these things. I just don't know what I can do with that.
Now that I think about it... I don't know what I can do with linguistics other than annoy people by correcting themI feel I have a goal now (considering universities, and jobs)!

Just be careful that all that radioactive waste doesn't accidentally burn your mustache off!

it's always good to see him, hehe -
A little pissed.
Lately, I've been doing commission drawing work, which was announced on my Facebook page. Somehow, this kid from Kentucky found my page and he wants me to draw him a Charizard in minecraft style. That means I have to draw it PIXEL by PIXEL. GRAAAAHHHH!!! It's kicking my ass and WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE A SIMPLE DRAWING OF CHARIZARD?!! Not only that, but he wants me to include the background! I know it's impolite to complain about something I'm getting paid to do, but it's taking up my last week of summer vacation. I offered to do it for $10, but he thought it's too much, so I knocked it down to $8. If this kid were older, I'd charge him $10 more for the time it's taking me to do this.
Here it is (warning: large image)
!
-
oh wow, that's hardcore. best minecraft creation i've ever seen.
charizard for the fucking win @_@OT:
started drawing the title page of my comic, but i still can't think of the…title .___.
oh well, maybe when i draw some of the content, an idea will come to mind. -
I finally started getting my unemployment benefits today.
They actually sent me a BoA debit card (I bank with Chase) that puts my money into an account there.
I prefer checks, but I called and they said that I could just use their account and when I'm done with benefits I could just transfer the money over to Chase with no hassle, so meh.
Now I gots some money. -
Life is so boring at the moment having to save up every penny.
-
Playing Smash Bros Brawl with my sister. Our old Wii bricked, and since Smash is nice enough and doesn't allow being saved on a SD Card we had to unlock all achievments ALL OVER AGAIN.
We're almost done, but a few things are still missing. Stupid crap like "All stickers" and stuff … and "Target Smash lvl 4 and 5 with all characters"
I HATE IT SO MUCH ALL CAPS RAGE. My sister is good at target smash. I only shine when playing with Kirby. I've never played as anyone else. -
I miss playing SSB. I used to kick all the little boy's asses in fourth and fifth grade with Princess Peach. But then I stopped playing for years…

Same, only with Kirby. Damn, I always kicked so much ass with Kirby … still do.
-
@Nia:
Same, only with Kirby. Damn, I always kicked so much ass with Kirby … still do.
My friend did the same with Pikachu. I swear, out of like, 50 different rounds, I beat her once. But it was always fun to watch the three other players (always boys) try to ambush me on screen. Hahaha… dammit, I wish I never stopped playing.
-
I watched a couple episodes of Ao no Exorcist today and nearly failed at boiling pasta for lunch. I feel strange saying this, but I almost wish there was more work to do at the house so I could be busy with something. I usually feel like I never have enough time to do things, but atm, I feel bored. :P Maybe I'm just tired. Still adjusting my sleeping times. Even though I've been going to bed earlier and waking up earlier…
Oh yeah! While at the house today, I found the banana bread recipe!! For years, that small sheet of paper which was given to us by another family was missing. We repeatedly searched the whole house for that recipe but never found it. We concluded that it must have been thrown away by accident. And then I found it in a desk drawer. That was so awesome. When you go sorting through everything you've ever owned, things turn up unexpectedly and that can be pretty fun/embarrassing as hell/downright weird. Damn lot of insects (mostly dead) sometimes accompany these discoveries. Like the 4th bedroom that's full of wasps and spiders. I can't even fathom how someone who lived here before us actually used to SLEEP there. 0__<
-
Damn, I've only slept for roughly two hours. My sister didn't. She kindly told me what she's been doing while I left her alone:
(We give each other silly names in ICQ. Her name actually isn't "Hildegard". And mine isn't Danny lol, geek)! Hildegard 07:04
I hate you.
! Danny 07:05
there are a lot of good reasons for that. which one did you choose?
! Hildegard 07:05
This one.
! Danny 07:05
is that the zelda can-can? XD
! Danny 07:06
ooooooooooooooooooh
:D
good
very, very goodMy sister has now joined the herd, heh~, I finally got her to watch it. I didn't even force it onto her, I just watched a lot of MLP FiM shit and she happened to notice. That's how I got her to watch Regular Show, too.
Thus, my day has been made and it's only 7 am.
-
You're nickname is Danny?
… oh lol I'm not surprised hahaha.
-

It … varies. Sometimes it's Kenny, other times it's Danny. But always one or the other XD

Basically something ending in an -nny.

now I feel like re-reading Johnny the Homicidal Maniac...

Dangit. 4th day with Swimmer's Ear… I'm going to a doctor as soon as possible. It's gotten to the point that part of my jaw hurts now, which makes me think crazy things like that it may spread infection to the brain and such.
I followed my dad's advice on trying Hydrogen Peroxide as treatment, which is... quite an experience. Seeing how he's a Chemistry professor, I felt safe following that advice. It worked for a day or two, but it's slightly worse now.
On a brighter note, I think I shall play Ocarina of Time 3D until I fall asleep.

RAWRGH.
Warning: Don't open if you're Nia. Or if you love pigeons. (Oh and disclaimer: no animals were physically harmed. And nobody in my family is an animal-hater.)
! As some of you might know, my house is a favourite nesting place of stray pigeons. Sounds cute? Not. At. All. First off they are the diseased kind. For more than a month they gave every person in my household the most horrendous rashes ever; I couldn't even sleep properly, it itched so badly. We finally flooded the ledge they nested on and placed 20938043 cardboard boxes there to prevent them from landing again. And for a long time, all has been well.
! However. We were just coming home from a dinner before my younger sis moved into her university hostel. We were about to enter the house when we saw one pigeon standing on my window sill - which, by the way, is really, really, almost-invisible narrow. It was just CLINGING there. My dad picked up a ridiculously long bar he bought just to chase away such pigeons, and tried knocking the window and waving it near the pigeon to get it to fly off. But apparently this is like the toughest pigeon ever or something because it just stayed there. So I went into my room to knock directly on the window from the inside, to try to startle it away. But it didn't work; no, IT JUST STARED AT ME. RIGHT AT ME. Like it was psychotic or something! I tried everything from flashing lights to knocking the window with a bottle, but it just stayed there staring stoically at us.
! So finally my dad came in and he said we should open the window to "push" it out with the bar. I kept screaming and hiding away because I was terrified that it would fly in and peck out our eyes. But we opened it a little and my dad pushed the bar a little bit towards the pigeon. And I kept screaming because it was like some kind of BATTLE. I thought it would fly away once it felt the bar, but it actually fought there for a while before finally flying AWAY (thank goodness it didn't fly in).
! No offense to Hattori (he's a cutie), but some pigeons are seriously psychotic. That gleam in its eye as it stared at me was seriously scary. -

Heh, I love that you felt the need to add that.
As far as I'm concerned liking pigeons in RL and liking Hattori are two completely different things.
And then again liking pigeons doesn't mean liking every single one of them, especially not the kind you just described. Damn, that pigeon would have freaked anyone out with how persistent it was. -
My atempts at playing Megaman 8 are continously thwarted by the game crashing stubbornly after one robot master after another.
Only realy interesting thing that happened to me today.
-
I'm gonna play Mario Kart today. It's really fun and I haven't played it in a while. It's a good pastime too since I have to wait a few more days until I can do things normally again. Can't even go anywhere, I'm not allowed to drive while on these pills :P
-

I love playing the Wii version online :D -
Haven't decided yet :/
I like playing the Wii version online too though.

@ BFF damn those are some scary pigeons. I hope that one pigeon doesn't bring reinforcements. 0__o

Played some Divinity 2 and Amnesia today. I'm going to playsome more Divinity. Not Amnesia though, it's too scary:ninja:
While I was surfing this wonderful world called internet, I came across this, while trying to register to fanfiction.net.
Yes, I'm a human. Now, let me ask you something: What kind of language is that?

well its recaptcha. Recaptcha always has two words one of which is computer generated, other is majority of times something scanned out of some old text book which image->text software (OCR) cant recognize. an example will be this:
now when you type the word correctly, Google confirms it by giving it same to other people. In end when its sure about what the word is. It will replace the word in its scan. So in a way you are helping digitize old books.
But you can put anything in it and it will accept as long as other word is correct :)
yes i know a lot about it because i once spent my weekend with friends cracking it
-
Went to the airport and found out that the plane was cancelled so I'm stuck in Turkey fror two more days. 4000 krs gone to waste. Conspiracy! This was their plan all along! But I'm not like the poor confused old people! I'll make people aware of these evil-doers. That's my duty as someone from a democracy!
-
Ordered some chinese food, played Mafia and waxed my body.
And also cleaned a bit my flat. One more work day until England o_o freaks out I need more time! Still so much left to dooo!

But it's hard to type in letters that aren't really letters.

I was on the bus with my girls after shopping and one of my friends had just called me over to sit with her. We were on the top of a double decker bus with me at the front so I was kinda annoyed cause I'm clumsey enough on flat, stationary surfaces. But anyway, after stumbling down the aisle oh-so-elegantly I plonked down next to her and she started to tell me about this problem she needed my advice on.
That's when something hit the bus. Yeah. A pigeon flew right into the top screen of the bus right in front of where I'd been sitting moments before. Never have I been so glad my friend had guy problems.
Our group freaked out for a moment (thank God it was only us on the top level) but we more o less forgot it by the time we got off. Ugh. Sad now.
-
Just spent today and yesterday playing Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 with my little sister. And by playing I mean 100% completion run. Damn I'm getting good at this. Also it was good to spend time with my little sis again, if only because my parents have been bitching at both of us nonstop the last two days so we can isolate ourselves from them together. But really it's fun cracking jokes and playing games with the sibling.
Guess it's time to go to Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door though. Hurm I think this is going to be a tad more difficult.
*cue Kenny calling me a wuss because he can do a level 0 run on PM:TTYD *

Of course I do! I love Nny and Squee<3 My friend let me borrow his director's cut, haha.
