Ahhhhhhhhh, the combination i-its just to overwhelming, I-I…. Yes master Kubishi, I shall go read your latest chapters now,
Both bleach and Naruto were good this week. What's with all of the commotion around here? Somehow two good chapters made you realize that both series suck? Didn't you know that already prior to this? I could understand it if the chapters were shit, but they weren't. In fact, I was surprised by how the latest bleach chapter kept my interest… which didn't happen a long time ago.
The Bleach chapter was shit on so many levels though. And the Naruto chapter was pretty stupid as well. And we've thought of Bleach and Naruto as stupid for a long time

The latest bleach chapter made this fullbring arc pointless and naruto one is basically more hax for allies side(helping even more the one-sided war).
Between the two bleach was better for simply fact that fullbring arc is about to end(i hope) we can move on to chars that we already know.
Naruto one only good thing about it for me more were final pages, but begs the questions why nagato didnt use this when he was alive.
Nagato was anorectic when he was alive. He didn't want to eat and get fat. If he sees himself in the mirror now, he's gonna kill himself.
As for bleach, I thought Ginju and the other guy's plan was clever. It surpassed my expectations. I was expecting it to be anticlimactic.
How the hell was it clever? There were a million ways to get it done far more easily and we still have no real motive for the villains other than that they're doing it for the lulz. Not to mention it relies on the fact that Tsukishima's power cdan do things which by all means should not be even remotely possible with his power. Memory insertion should not change Ginjo's core personality. Hell, at most it should just confuse him since he should still have the memories of Tsukishima being his friend. It also highlights how goddamn useless a protagonist Ichigo is since he utterly failed against Ginjo and had to be bailed out by a horrible plot device. If all it would take is for Rukia to stab him like she did at the start of the series, then why the fuck didn't she do that right away instead of waiting over a year? Why didn't Ichigo's dad tell him about it in the first place if it did need time? What the fuck was the point of Ichigo even getting a fullbring power if he would immediately lose it? What the hell was the point of this godawful arc in general?
Well I didn't like Naruto because it felt like what I call middle Naruto returned:
Early Naruto(Up until the time skip): Focused on exploring a big world with small, insignificant characters with big dreams(Sort of like OP in how characters were potrayed)
Middle Naruto (Up until Itachi's death):Focused on ridiculous explanations for what should be simple attacks to make things sound complex and planned out despite being the opposite. (Worst part of Naruto in my oppinion)
Late Naruto (The Kage meeting and beyond.): Brought back a taste of that big world feel by introducing all of the Kages at long last but showed an obvious longing to finish the manga. This is the part where all the bad planning began to show when the kages seemed a lot closer to the strength of everyone else than legendary shinobi should. This part also had random failed attempts at slapstick comedy(armadillo penis) and many scenes that were just plain gross (Yammato's capture state) Fights here have also been far too brief and uninspired.
So I respect your opinion that Naruto isn't as bad as people say, in fact I would have agreed 2 weeks ago and back with the raikage flashback, but I would have to disagree with your opinion of this chapter.
Bleach on the other hand I quit back when we had that cliffhanger of somebody's boot while Ichigo was beating up random kids.
If Ginjou's plan was cleaver, could you please tell me why did they want Ichigo's fullbring, where do the other fullbringers fall into this plan and why did Ginjou tell Ichigo about his dad then forgetting about what he told him next chapter.
I still don't get how Ichigo could acquire a fullbring when its supposed to be a power you have to be born with
This actually hapenned? I guess, this thread is mine and Robby's ugly little baby we had a while back when Greg was out doing laundry. It's meant for greatness, and one day will pathetically die in the sewers beneath the water park.

Hey don't feel so bad about it. Many other thread babies die in the sewers beneath the water park. Plus, as long as Greg doesn't find out you should be safe for now.
At this point Naruto is completely indefensible
It has reached a point where it's not even good for a snarky laugh anymore, it's just plain fucking aggravating to read
Seconding Itachi being worse than Aizen, at least Aizen didn't have a godawful backstory explaining that he's a tragic antihero and a victim of society while being at the same time a super cool genius that kills people by looking at them
He honestly reads like the original character of a Harry Potter fanfiction written by the kind of hopeless mouthbreathing fangirls who watch Vampire Diaries or something
I'm guessing we'll never see Sage Mode again huh? When ever Naruto learns something new, he'll use that more then all of his other techniques.
Not entirely sure exactly what happened but I imagine it was something like this.

As for Itachi being worse than Aizen… I dare you to reread Bleach. At least Itachi is dead and will likely sacrifice himself to return to the dead in the new future, possibly to save Naruto from Sasuke. I'm not going to lie, if you told a me from five years ago that was going to happen, i'd probably be pumped, but now its just ehh.
Bleach just can't redeem itself in my eyes, ruining the fight I looked forward to the most(komamura vs tousen), changing how Gin's sword on a whim, Yami..., and the super lame way Aizen lost without even showing his bankai. Thats just unfair to poor kishi who can't help that he is slightly sexist and likes boy on boy action.

I'd realy like it more if the atention was more on the brawl.
Still, funny :P

Good point. I doubt Sage mode will ever come back again.
It's kinda like Kaio-ken from DragonBall Z. Why use that technique when you can just transform into Super Saiyan?
OMG… now I know that Naruto & Bleach both sucks. Thanks guys.
Sage mode is going to show up again, he just used it recently anyway
He'll probably combine the two modes when he fights THATHUKE
Who cares though both of these ridiculous powerups suck and are just desperate attempts to give Naruto some relevance after his character basically lost all semblance of integrity after the timeskip
sigh if only juju was here to stir up some madness in this one sided thread
At least, Sage Naruto just had frog pupils, instead of being a glowing grasshoper man with his stomach carrying upper paleolith paintings. Honestly, I am yet to see a more ridiculous shonen manga protagonist endgame design.

I think the main problem is that Bleach, with this arc was practically pointless. It felt like when they inserted the Bounto arc in the anime to have Ishida lose his powers and have to train to wind up in the same powerless state he was at, at the end of the Sould Society arc. It's like tacking on this extra junk only to wind up with the same resolution. It doesn't change anything other than you've wasted the viewer's time with bland extra characters. Kubo seems to have a character hoarding problem. Has he gone a full arc since Soul Society without adding in more characters?
Oda has a large cast of people but they at least don't seem like clones and redesigns, and they seem to actually matter some.
Why do people come into a thread that basically say Naruto and Bleach suck and come bitch? It's obvious what the point of the thread is. Don't like it? Don't enter it. Simple.

Gah, why are you still here? Weren't you banned a while ago for being terrible?

I should really get rid of you too while I'm thinking about it.
Let's just make a "Naruto and Bleach are pretty good mangas"-thread and then WE can enter and bitch in there!
@Sonic:

But it'd be the same thing as this but with more defenders.
It would be like this. But with manga!
I don't even see how you could call Bleach good this week. It's that bad.
At least, Sage Naruto just had frog pupils, instead of being a glowing grasshoper man with his stomach carrying upper paleolith paintings. Honestly, I am yet to see a more ridiculous shonen manga protagonist endgame design.
What I feared the most about this stupid design was that it wasn't "complete" yet. For instance, after Naruto has Madara turn into a tree and defeats him, what if Naruto starts sealing the remaining bijuu within himself? I mean why not? He's the new sage of the ninja world that has come to bring piss.
This week's Bleach goes in my personal top 5 worst Bleach chapters ever.
Woah. That bad. Seriously.
God dammit! Now I'm tempted to read it, even though I'm trying to quit Bleach! Thanks a lot guys! I thought I could quit. I thought that I was done with the terrible crap of a comic series but now I feel like I've gotta see it if only for the trainwreck value. Huh. Every time I think I'm out it pulls me back in. Great.
By the way is that Ask Kishimoto thing still going on? I've got a few questions for the man.
And one more thing:
@RobbyBevard:
Gah, why are you still here? Weren't you banned a while ago for being terrible?
Answer: NO
If your question was: weren't you banned from one of the threads here for I don't remember why (probably because I cursed and used an improper way of addressing someone)? Then the answer would be "yes". Either way, didn't know I was that important to you that you even remember I was banned at some point. It seems like that's a rare occurrence in a forum… at least that's what your reaction made it look like.
Here have a just to annoy you a little. Don't know why, but I don't like pretentious people.

And one more thing:
Well it's in mine, and the other 4 are the four directly preceding it.
I thought the thread was about me now. Guess RobbyBevard failed.
And yes, I didn't bother to memorize his username so I had to copy/paste.
Wait wait wait wait wait…. You actually think we really give a damn about you? Addressing and destroying the arguements of idiot fanboys is just something to ward off boredom.

Are you talking to me? I will assume you aren't because you don't give a damn about me.
You know, someone like you might actually learn something from Bleach. I mean, Kubo manages to troll so many people with that manga without even trying.
In all honesty, people aren't really being fair to the new Bleach chapter, at least wait until the arc is over before you say, "We don't know why they're doing any of this!"
Yes, I know Kubo has a bad rep of not answering such questions, but he very well may in the future. When Robin left the crew, and helped shoot Iceberg, no one raised heck because they didn't know why yet, you just waited until Oda told you, and he may never have.
The other thing is though while the plan is silly, at least Kubo addressed that it was with his own characters in a comedic manner, yet everyone's taking it so seriously for why I don't know.
There are enough logical problems as is with this chapter to pointing out faults that are just "questions that haven't been answered yet" such as:
-Ishida being an idiot, and not describing Ginjou to Chad and Orihime.
-There are 6 people missing in action… Chad and Orihime are just watching Ichigo get stabbed?
-Ichigo got cut down and stabbed in the chest by Ginjou... but that didn't hurt him?
-How can Ichigo see the sword that stabbed him without spiritual awareness?
-Rukia's haircut is stupid. And she looks like a boy.
-Ichigo's magical 180
-Ichigo getting a new outfit

That was one of the worst Naruto chapters in recent memory, what kind of meds are you on right now?

Pyro, why are you defending Bleach ?

While you're at it you should get rid of that Berzerk guy.

Don't know why, but I don't like pretentious people.
fucking lol, ah yes the horrible elitist gall it takes to call a ninja comic book bad.
I don't like pretentious people either, but I think you are barking up the wrong tree antiravage. Pretentious would mean coming into the topic without any knowledge or hands on experience to why one would think a series is bad.
@Sonic:
Let's just make a "Naruto and Bleach are pretty good mangas"-thread and then WE can enter and bitch in there!
I second this idea. Can't have one without the other.
robby cannot tell a lie, thus he cannot make that thread.

Honestly I don't know what Kubo is doin with Ishida. He hasn't gained any power since training with his father. He just seems like like having him get stabbed or cut down and nobody really takes notice, or they forget… Also none of Ichigo's friends or himself seem to know how to investigate anything. Everyone keeps secrets for the most retarded reasons. For the method he's taking with this arc, I feel it's fair to say things like "This makes no sense. Why are they doing this?" He puts too many ass pulls in one arc for it to make any sense even without it being completed.
Just read the Bleach chapter: Yeah. I don't even know what the hell I was looking at.
At lest we got rid of the stupid fullbring shit and we get to see Ruki**o**, wtf is with that haircut anyways? As for the sword that stabbed him it looks like a full reiatsu sword or something of that matter, it would make sense that it was visible to ichigo right as it pierces his chest in order to give him reiatsu.
In all honesty, people aren't really being fair to the new Bleach chapter, at least wait until the arc is over before you say, "We don't know why they're doing any of this!"

The Robin thing is a bad example considering the only thing between her shooting Iceburg and the explanation being given was Frankys flashback. Also, it is hardly comparable to not only being unaware of your villains motive, but their GOAL as well. "Stealing Ichigos powers for the lulz" cannot be a goal in itself, you at the very least need to tack on "with his power, I can rob banks!", just anything. As is we not only know why any of this happened, we basically don't know what is happening. And this is the friggin climax of the arc. Besides, basic storytelling says that it adds tremendously to the climax if you know why you're fighting the villain; it's not like Oda witheld Spandam or Arlongs goal until seconds before their asses got kicked, is it?
By the time Kubo finally explains everyhting, it is too late for us as readers to care.
Anyway, I'm extremely tempted to place this chapter alongside Palm Of My Hand at the very pinnacle of Mount Bullshit, from which rocks Bleach was built. The amount of plotholes, contortion of logic and sheer awful writing is causing problems to spawn in my brain at an unprecedented rate, simply too many to list or even comprehend at once. I've started going through this arc again to get the whole scope of it, and have uncovered at least one completely impossible event. I'll just let them trickle in here as they arise…
Oh, and regarding Naruto, I still wonder if the Crow has now used its once in a decade power, and is thus now completely useless and irrelevant.
It would be funny if Kubo had his own SBS.
