lol that's the way I was leaning too. AND JYABURA'S CHICKEN CAN BE SCRAPPY. I guess the rest of CP9 will be sirs not appearing in this parody. But we probably shouldn't talk too much about this. I feel you man it's weird doing it without the teeth since that's one of his defining features… had the same problem with Rouxtori, who always grins like a madman - but it's just wrong if you give him that somehow. Looking great.

Since I have awesome memory [not!], I had to google images of Gedatsu in order to do the 'tori, and pretty much every single one had angry eyes.

And I did consider a lot of the stuff you said, because that's the fun of Gedatsu. I tried the wing cross, but then I was slowly going insane (I'm traveling and I left my usual laptop at home, so I have to use a netbook and online software to do stuff … stupid lack of a mouse is surprisingly angering.) If someone else out there wants to mess with it and add the wing cross with epic editing skills, please be my guest! I don't mind at all.
As for the eyes rolled up, I did wonder what a pigeon would look like if the eyes were rolled up. Couldn't think of an answer but I did have this version:

Wow, I had NEVER noticed this before! Maybe some crazy law in Skypeia that Gods can't have wings?

And I guess some sky island 'toris could afford not to have wings, since technically they'd be small enough to be hidden from view. Like Urouge-tori! (which should nevertheless look amusing due to the need for the crazy smile.)

Yeah… It could just be that those two were "god" and the lack of wings was meant to distinguish them from "angels" but I'm still sticking with the Eneru cutting them off just to stick those drums there theory. Because it's cool. Zach came up that theory, though I forget his response to the above point. If there's one character in OP driven mad by his own powers, that guy would be Eneru.
