@piratemarimo:
These days I always feel ultra lame when I watch a movie and get the urge to cry cuz most people probably wouldn't. Awhile ago I watched "Arashi no Yoru Ni" and for some reason I was really crying hard. It's probably on youtube but it could have been taken down since last I checked. Actually the only decent quality one is this but the whole movie isn't uploaded yet:

Isn't the the anime about the wolf and the sheep or whatnot?
It was kind of…unusual, but that kind of thing freakishly happens in nature from time to time, usually when domestication is involved. I've seen cases of a crow befriending a kitten, for example.
@GypsyCarts:
it standing alone doesn't hit you as hard.
You can't really claim this, I don't know of a person alive who saw TS3 but not the first two TS movies. We'd need to call in such a person to testify if what you say is true.
Personally, I'm the kind of guy who prefers non-verbal communication. I'm a mahjong player, I feel I can get to know a person a bit more intimately through analyzing their playing style than analyzing how they express themselves verbally.
I felt TS2's ending implied the events of TS3 in a very satisfying way, and TS3 existed only to "make it official". Sure, it was emotional, but I saw how Jesse reacted way back in my local theatre in '00, so I can empathize with CU regarding the lost charm. If I were little, and young, it might have been harder to watch on screen, but I've kind of grown accustom to giving stuff up since then, so I don't think my emotional bond with the characters would be as strong as a child's.
