Eh, it was extremly fun, so it's ok

Great episode… I didn't realize Pierce was such a dick. I've seen episodes where he's the nicest guy, and usually his childish "I wanna play" manner is just for jokes, but the trampoline episode showed his darker side too.
Pierce LOATHES being ignored. He's been ignored too many times before, he probably got feed up.
Yeah, and I'm not really sure If I like that development. Pierce becomes more and more unbearable, even so much that one of his friends imagined his death. I don't mind him being offensive and grumpy, but potraying him as the antagonist of the episode was a little much. I think this was already the third time where he was potrayed as a major asshole (trampoline episode and the one from last week).
Don't get me wrong, the episode was hilarious, especially liked that Abed got the spotlight again, the maiden act made me laugh like crazy abd I completely lost is when I saw the others reactions, especially troys . The narration at the beginning really added to the atmosphere, It felt like this was what they tried to accomplish with the christmas stop motion episode, only funnier.
Everyone else was great, Cheng masked as an dark elf, but I was a little disappointed that he didn't stick around for an longer time, but It was still nice that they included him in their little group adventure.
Oh, and Brittas reaction to the death of the barkeeper was hilarious.
And I'm really liking how Jeffs character gets potrayed. He seeks redemption for being the old asshole Jeff he was and sometimes still is, yet still tries to somehow become a better person, even if he still can't help himself sometimes, like how he mocked the game the whole time.
All in all, I loved this episode. I can't really say It was better than the paintball episode, but It's damn near.
Pierce has always been unbearable and assholish. Only recently he has set his foot down to annoy the others, the diference is that before they just tried to ignore him, but now he set himself in unignorable position.
Was it weird for them to be in a party with just one caster? I guess that symplifies things. (I only know D&D from the order of the stick)

True, but this here is different. He always was a asshole, but he had his moments where he showed that he can be a good and caring human being, but he was absolutely terrible in this episode, acting like a friggin' villain.
It wouldn't have been this bad if this was released before last weeks episode, where he again acted like a giant cock.
Just hoping they'll slow down a little, right now one could think Pierce is more loathed in the group than cheng.
I don't know if you guys have noticed, but Pierce IS Chevy Chase. Basically Chevy Chase if Chevy Chase never had a career in acting. He's a notorious diva of an actor on set.
This episode needed a villain, and lately pierce has been filling that role. But yeah he has been a huge dick all season. Trampoline, drug, and now this episode. Hopefully they are setting up pierce as an asshole now to have some magical redemption episode.
You are forgetting when he was with abed all the trip to "true chrissmas", or when he "deffended" Britta's honor.
Pierce is selfish and old fashoned, there's nothing weird as how he's being portrayed.
I think this episode would probably bee more effective if Pierce broke down or something during the end of the episode. It seem like he didn't change or nothing was shown for him to change. He just kind of … lost the game.
Fat Neils character changed seemed out of nowhere, to be honest. I love the episode a lot, but the third act was lacking. But, I never been so excited to see a dice roll to have a knife hit ambulant.
But in all seriousness, I think both Pierce and Fat Neil's resolution should've been stronger. It felt a little underwhelming. Like I know we know what is wrong with Pierce, but I felt like him breaking down crying about being left out and wanting to be apart of something bigger would've been great for his character and would've redeem a little bit to the audience.
Or I would've liked to see him be kicked out of the group. And maybe spend the next few episodes with him being bitter or attempting to get back in the group. And maybe the group can try and adjust with Chang filling in the role of Pierce. Just saying that would've been good development. (Yes, I know we've seen this before, but with Chang this would be different.)
But like someone else mention, I think this episode was defiantly a much better episode than the Christmas Episode. Which is ironically since they're the same concept (of the group pretending to be in a ruled run by Abed using their imaginations) and that the sound effects were more effective than the visuals of the Christmas special.

^^This right here. I'm sure they'll show him learning some kind of big lesson this season.I actually liked the way they did Fat Neil showing that everyone at Greendale do not like their gimmick. Best quote came from Troy though "You're like the AT&T of people!"
Why Did They Stop Kissing Why?!?! Magnitude you my boy.
This episode was sorely lacking in the Shirley department.
But still, this was a fantastic episode. You've got to respect the love between Troy and Abed. :)
Women kissing and a Blazing Saddles reference very satisfied with this episode.
The ending narration by Jeff was completely different in the closed captioning.
The face Annie made after she almost kissed Britta….god, I'd never have to leave my house again....cough

I liked the episode. The Jeff monologue was really really good. I'm a little confused on wither or not Chang is in the group. I thought he was part of the group during the Mid Season premiere, but it seems like he's still wigging his way in.
I think it was interesting that they choose to do so many plot lines.
Jeff's "Party"/Chang's Attempt at moving in.
Britta's "Gay" friend.
Troy and Abed chasing over one girl.
Pierce's drug addiction.
The only disappointing is, I think they all would of made good episode plots on their own.
Magnitude stands for magnet and attitude.
Good episode, I laughed basically the entire time which made it seem a lot shorter for some reason. The ending was surprisingly dramatic. I guess it's redemption time for Pierce.
Definitely the hottest, most fanservice episode of the season. I don't think the Britta storyline is that strong (it still has good jokes, but I'm not feeling it that much), but when you have two girls kissing in the end, and Britta and Annie almost kissing (dammit, so close!) as a straight male I can't really complain.
But that's not all, we also has a red hot librarian, complete with glasses. I can't believe only Troy and Abed is interested in her for Valentine. It doesn't end well, but the beginning part was hilarious. The Jeff storyline…well, at least it got soccer. Jeff and Duncan is really funny together, and I don't mind Chang here. The ending with Jeff's speech is the best part though.
Pierce...that was quite a cliffhanger. If the broken leg is kept for many episodes, no way this thing won't affect the group. The part at the beginning with him makes me laugh the most though, the way he prepared the speech and the timing of the opening credits is just perfect.
Found that yesterday and need to share the awesomness

Troy being too star-strucked by LeVar Burton and breaking had me in tears. Good episode overall though.
Levar's reveal was too funny. I was surprised at how much they used him in the episode, but I guess if you're actually going to pay him for an episode, you might as well get all you can from it.
It looks like the ratings for Community are going down. The last episode to air was at an all time low.
yeah, I don't really know how the whole rating system in the US works, but I'm actually starting to feel a little nerveous about communitys future. Last time I checked chances weren't too bad that there would be a 3 season, how are things with the new low rating now?
It would suck much if this show gets cancelled.
A 1.8 isn't an all time low. It's been between 1.8 and 2.2 pretty much the entire year.
Facts you need to consider:
If you look at the cancel/renew index here: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/02/15/nbc-chuck-outsourced-now-closest-to-the-cancellation-bear/82632 you can see that Community is still doing okay. In the end it will all depend on Comcast wanting to just throw every show out the window and start with a clean slate or give bubble shows another shot.
and keep in mind that most of the other shows doing badly alongside Community were ALSO the result of NBC basically throwing out half their programming and starting an all new slate, so…if they do just jettison the whole bunch NBC would probably have to just switch to reality shows or some shit.
Also, look at this group consensus: http://features.metacritic.com/features/2011/tv-cancellation-bubble-shows-february-2011/
Seems like most people who pay attention to these things think Community's chances are fair to positive, at least in comparison to several other NBC shows.

Exactly. Compared to stuff like The Event, Chase, or Outsourced (barf) it has a higher chance of continuing.
Which is good, I freakin' love this show.
I'll never understand why TBBT gets so much love

I'm a big fan of Community and I've been watching it since it began; I don't miss an episode. However, I'm also a really big fan of The Big Bang Theory, and the fact that both now air at the same time on Thursdays has an effect on them. Since both shows share some of the same demographic, the issue is more about how fans of both watch them each week. If you have Tivo or DVR this issue isn't as big of a deal, but a lot of viewer probably don't have this (I for one have DVR at home, but not down at my college).
If you miss the 8:00 p.m. airing of Community, you can always watch it on Hulu for instance. The Big Bang Theory, however, is not on Hulu, and there's no other way of seeing it each week except for when it airs. If you're a fan of both shows like me, it makes more sense to watch TBBT when it airs and then just watch Community later on Hulu. We're probably seeing these lower rating for Community because Hulu viewers don't count. If NBC were to just swich Community's time slot on Thursdays, there would probably be a significant increase in its ratings.
As a very dedicated fan of Community, I know how great the show is and it will probably be a big staple of NBC's comedy night for a good number of years. But right now, I think it is its time slot that is hurting it ratings-wise, not its content.
Currently watching the stopmotion episode. I just watched the 'Cospiracy Theories' episode. This show is so meta. And it works to make it even more funny cus of Ahbed. And also I have noticed the show getting more continuital like some of you said, like Pierce being in his wheelchair.
Set Phasers To Love Me!
"You already know the answer POP POP" Magnitude you're my boy.
Secret Service Agent: Although I could issue you a warning for this bootleg of The Last Airbender.
Abed: Where were you a eek ago?
Favorite line of the episode.
Pierce was really funny this ep and the subplot with Abed was interesting. It was weird seeing Jeff lose his calm and totally freak out though.
We've already seen Jeff lose his cool multiple times, it just this is the first time he wasn't able to bring him self back.
Also, POP POP
Raspberry
The Abed subplot was cute.
This ep knocked it out of the park for me. The news ticker below the Abed/Troy scenes was hilarious. I swear I read "band Practice cancelled due to flu….." ^_^
and LOL at Starburns dropping out cuz politics affects his drug dealing.
This is easily the best episode so far out of the second half this season.
If they don't follow up on the Abed/FBI chick, I will feel forever cheated.
Don't think the episode was as good as the past three weeks, but still very enjoyable. Kind of tired of all the Jeff/Annie storylines.
Here's all the Ticker feeds. You can be sure some of them will be episodes, much like how Abed's Robocop vision predicted episodes.
"Don't Forget To Study For Finals."
"Remember To Add Or Drop Classes."
"Starburns: My Name Is Alex."
"Human Being Mascot: Offensive To Animals? More At 8."
"Chess Club Moves Meeting Unexpectedly, Refuses To Reveal Why."
"Basketball Team Loses Ball."
"Chicken Finger Shortage Continues."
"Professor Slater Still Missing."
"No Paint Ball This Spring" Claims Dean."
"School Dance Rate Down 200%"
"Reports Continue Of Mysterious 'Air Vent Monster'."
"Dean Suggests End Of Year Picnic, Implies Western Theme."
"Dr. Ian Duncan Quits Drinking Again."
"Tickers: Do We Watch Them? Story At 12."
Also, Magnitude is Lee Jordan from the Harry Potter movies. Your mind is now blown. POP POP
That's the beauty of Abed/fbigirl, she doesn't need to apparear on camera to "be" in the chapter, Abed doing date things by himself and she gives him a signal at distance.

Woah my mind is blown! Idk what it was about this episode but i just wasn't that into it.
Luke Youngblood is also 'Ben' from little CBBC Series Tracy Beaker. I couldn't believe it when I found out he was in the Glee Christmas Special. I didn't recognise him in this either. He seems to have easily done what a lot couldn't. Bravo to him!

Modern Warfare 2?
God damn, does Community know how to please…

Western based this time? If the ticker is to believed. (Dean Suggests End Of Year Picnic, Implies Western Theme)
And I wonder, with this supposedly focusing on Annie, is she going to be leaving the show. She's always wanted to transfer to an actual university…
It be an extremely risky move by Dan and Co....
I really hope this isn't the case.
My favorite tickers were easily the Air vent monster one, and Professor Slater still missing.
An another note, I laughed when LeVar Burton appeared on BBG this week, considering that's Community's biggest competitor.
Magnitude is back and a 'Modern Warfare' double-episode season finale? This can't get any better.
Cool beans
