So it seems Smashboards may have validated their existance…
At first I rolled my eyes at this, then I read up on it, I tried it, and I gotta say I love it. Basically, these guys actually removed all the abusable infinites, tweaked all the characters to remove more annoying aspects and emphasize their individual strengths, tweaked stages to keep them fun, and at the same time allow the more uptight assholes in the Smashfag community to see them as viable (allowing you to play online with people, and fight in other fucking stages), and gave alot of the characters a lot more options. And the best part is, it doesn't alter any of the game's physics, or any character's playstyle. All it does is change attack values and such. It's a straight up balance patch. No other bullshit. It's Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Championship Edition, as Tonfa called it.
Oh, and it doesn't require any hacking, and can be easily installed.
Who'dve thought these guys would willingly remove all the glitches and exploits they had been using as a crutch!? sniff Those kids are finally starting to grow up…
