I like that concept, but why haven`t Oda shown us the big clade next to the RL or somewhere near the SA.
The underwater journey showed that they went down under with the roots of the mangroves and then travelled towards the RL down in 10.000meters (like when they escaped from the undersea vulcano)

This kingdom is lax with it's security. I mean the king just rings the doorbell and says 'It's me' and they let everyone in. That big door into the Cute but huge room makes me wonder if it was Merfolk that helped build Impel Down.

Considering fishmen vs. human tensions, fishmen being enslaved to build the underwater parts of Impel Down isn't out of the question but a slight similarity between doors doesn't really provide evidence.
Would be interesting, though.

Zoro's and Franky's bounties aren't show. Why? Who knows.
But looking back Franky was seen in the incident at Vegapunk's homeland, since he was the one who exploded everything.
Zoro has no reason at all to have a bounty rise, but maybe something will happen or show up and explain why he could have a bounty rise if such thing happen.He trained with Mihawk for 2 years.
Mihawk is a Shichibukai; an ally of the WG.You're gonna sit here with a straight face and not give Zoro any credit? You know he had to have had one final fight with Mihawk before he left. Maybe he defeated him :ninja:
Anyways, with regards the the chapter; Bravo Oda! I really enjoyed seeing Caribou casually gobble up 3 Mermaids. He looked so sinister. I hope Oda has a lot more in store for his character, always enjoyable to read about him.
At the end of the chapter there are many paths that can the story can take, I'm leaning towards Neptune being wary of the strawhats at first, given the news from his sons. Eventually I can see an all out mob going after Luffy and the gang based on Caribou/NFP and the SH's antics.

Except niether of them were crazy, evil psychopaths who killed people for entertainment, wanted to kill the Strawhats, and is a character who I could not really believe would not kill someone in a fight. And despite Ace and WB dieing, Oda still doesn't like to make villains die, so a character like Caribou being able to maintain that ideal is stupid. ANd Robin's motives were ambiguous and unclear from the start, when she offered to help the SH's skip little garden. Franky was an ass, but he was never really portrayed as an extremely evil character
Pure opinion. Bring some evidence or even provide examples to back up your ideals. Like when you mentioned that Robin offered to help the straw hats skip little garden, that lends credence to her motives being unclear. Saying what oda will do does not an argument make.

I think Luffy is going to pull a Vegito and get eaten by Caribou in order to rescue the mermaids from his stomach.
And I think those prime ministers are not to be trusted, there's no way anybody could get into the palace and attack the princess without inside help.

About the whole Caribou thing. I see him as just another comedic villian. Just like Buggy. If Caribou is joining a crew it will be with Buggy and his whole band of lovable villans.

Of course it screams obvious. I however want to see him getting roped into helping the strawhats against his will.
Something Like:
Caribou thinking to himself: "Yes, now that I have almost every mermaid in my body I have to get to the surface so I can make my billions!"
Luffy fighting arc boss crashes into mermaid cove
Caribou realizes he is no match for the SHP and runs away, only to run into the rest of the crew. Is forced into helping the SHP so that he can escape. After all is said and done, mermaid cove is destroyed ala prophecy. Caribou inadvertantly or forced, spews out all the mermaids he "rescued" from mermaid cove.
I think given his character personality, this could be a possible scenario.

Marine is spelled wrong on Franky's poster (Marinie). Nami's bounty is most likely an error as well.

Have you noticed the princess's hair slide? It's the "typical" fish that also represented the "new member" of the SH in one of the SBS if I remember correctly (the fish usually represents Oda-himself, but this detail maybe means something…maybe not)

i have a question for you, i couldn't resopnd when the chapter came out cause i was at my dorm room but I remember your comment and how in the world did you think nico robin looked bad on the cover she was the best drawn thing there and i'm not saying that as fan boy the position the size color everything was perfect, if the cover was terrible she would have made it

I was just saying her legs are poorly drawn. Way too long (especially her thighs), and other things. But hey, she still looks good if you don't focus on that, and the spread is just awesome ^^

ok i propose like the other members a couple chapters back that caribou will turn into luffy and cause some ruckus, only he will try to frame luffy for kidnapping mermaids. Also just a random thought hodi jones will go down to the mermaid district to find luffy and instead find caribou impersonating luffy and fight him only to find out that caribou will swallow him in his swamp power.

^ that idea seems pretty common. how ever i hope there isn't a devil fruit fishman because fishmen are ten times stronger than humans what would be the point of a devil fruit. Also there is a constant debate on whether a fishman with a devil fruit would make it to where he couldn't swim anymore or not. So hopefully oda doesn't so as to not make a contradiction of the devil fruit. it would be kind of like a middle finger to non fishman devil fruit users. also some of the fishmen and mermen have special powers of thier own based on their species such as hyozou who has poison.

i guess.lol but think about it if a fish man with 10x the strength of a normal human has a devil fruit and he is able to use it underwater against a human or even a giant it would have the same outcome of hodi jones' use of the drugs. and even on land. i mean chances are it could be an unfair fight. But there is a slight chance that the fishman could lose. the only other downside to a devil fruit using human is the fact they can't go in water. and that the fishman can. i meanevenjinbe stopped akainu and other high ranking marines that had both devil fruits and haki from attacking luffy. But I don't want to be a ballbuster here, if oda does create a fishman or merman with a devil fruit power he will make it worth it.

He is clearly a psychopath who kills for fun. Please explain how he;d hold himself back. And Oda said in an SBS once that he preffered not to kill enemies but rather to put an end to their dreams, as he felt that was a better punishment

The fact is, though, a fruit that lets one shrink was already eaten by a video game character. Though that's hardly canon, Oda wouldn't let a fruit be eaten twice, even from filler. For example, Don whats-his-name eating the Heat Heat and Akainu eating the Magma Logia.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Where is it said he's a psychopath who kills for fun. He's known as the marine killer. He kills marines. There might be a very good reason for that, i'm confident oda could come up with one. Example, his father could have been a pirate and the marines killed him in front of his son without mercy. The only time we see him kill anyone is when the marine was about to pull a gun on him. Yes he does look and act crazy, granted, but thats not proof of his mental soundness. If he joined the crew his insanity could become a running gag. The same as robin's dark humor. How often do we see it? Maybe once, twice an arc? Yes it's a character trait but it doesnt stop her from being a competent human being and contributing to the crew.
Yes oda stated he doesnt like to kill enemies, i'm aware. 3 things
1. This could be a turning point in that regard
2. Cariboo's villians maybe all be too tough for him to kill. Only temporairly knocking them out and then crawling away to heal or he could do team matches all the time.
3. In his backstory (Which is mandatory for a joining character) the reason why he kills could be revealed, resolved through the adventure and he could stop killing.Remember chopper was creepy back in drum island but oda started to portray his different as the manga went on, he can do the same here. And yes i know it ws because of the voice actor and merchandise but the reason why he did it doesnt matter, the fact is he did it and can do it again.
