Have you people not noticed how fucking stellar the popularity of OP is over there? OP is for them like Star Wars is for NA.
It would have to have an audience sized at the majority of the population to use it as a promotion for such general stuff like Nissan, Domino's, 7-Eleven, LAWSON, etc. That restaurant is like their Skywalker Ranch near the launch of a new movie.

yesterday, someone pointed out here about AE's packaging and how many received them damaged and I read that in a blog somewhere but I ordered Ace and Garp POPs from them just bcuz i couldn't secure one anywhere else.. I got worried cuz i don't want the boxes smashes or anything, so I emailed them if they could use bubble wrap and have my order packaged safely, I also told them that few people had issues when their items arrived.

Thanks for the heads up on the TL WCFs. Yeah, they probably won't get them more than a month after they're released, but I'd rather get my pre-order in now for a relatively "reasonable" price. I've bought some SW WCF from them months ago and they were all legit and had the stickers. As for whether or not we can trust them and their ability to get some in stock? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes. They were the first site to mention the SW Nami POP re-release so they must have some pretty good insiders in Japan.

Yes. Lately it's been confirmed by a few people that received Super DX Ace from them.

Firstly, it arrived in under a week when I choose the cheapest shipping which I'm very damn chuffed about! Secondly, what a figure. He looks so good, wish I had got him before now. Hes so awesome I may be in love just a little bit :D Some slight issues with his bag as the colours have bled somewhat, but I can get over that.

1st, where to buy WCF in shops? i cant find it on pre-order on any Japan based site (amiami hjl hobbysearch) and i d like to get them at release without having to pay the extra charge of the collection madness

Then you don't really lose out on anything. If you can get them before TL does (from a site like Yahoo Japan), you can cancel. I just think you have to pay a small restocking fee. For me, I've pre-ordered, but I'll also be looking to see if I can get them elsewhere without spending an ungodly amount of money (which you'll likely do if you order from Yahoo Japan).

They got him like a week or two before the release in the arcades though iirc. I talked to Yuhei from Otacute over a month ago and he said it's unlikely/uncertain that they get it. I think we're up the creek without a paddle on this one.

Hope everyone can snag a Boa. Now that toyslogic seems to be able to get newer BP items my tension has eased up a bit (and that they're trying harder to please their customer base). Lately I feel like it's cheaper to buy stuff in the US versus trying to get the prize items from Japan. Seems like there's some crazy fans over there!
opened up MoM RoCho today. I was expecting the worst from them but they're actually pretty decent. Robin's face and top half look very well painted, Styling Quality, can't see any blobs of paint or anything.
Chopper is a lil less, his cross seems to have been quickly painted on but aside from that looks fine.
Both are certainly better quality than the Strong World Styling figures of yesterday and the Thriller Bark ones from last year.
