It's not just you don't worry, the stuff about that Perona guy just isn't necessary so it's been deleted from anyone who keeps bringing it up.

Anyway, as for who's joining? It needs to be someone who's gonna be able to fight a guy like San Juan Wolf, and outside of Franky modifying himself into a giant robot like Ubiq's said(which would be awesome by the way) I'm gonna go with a fishman or merfolk seeing as how the guy is monstrously huge. Like I've brought up before, in terms of a specific character I'm guessing the mermaid princess if she turns out to be strong. brennen brought up Jinbei a while back and since this timeskip it seems a lot more feasible so he seems like the second best choice to me so far. Though depending on what exactly happens at Fishman Island he may just be the "Vivi" of that particular arc. If it ends up being a major one it would raise the chances I think too.

Do I think it's likely right now? Absolutely not. But Buggy joining could be handled well. Almost like how Piccolo said he still wanted to kill Son Goku in Dragon Ball despite training Gohan. Eventually he gave up on it. It could be played for Comedic value, Buggy joins, the crew trust him because they know they could easily stop him if he tried to steal from them.

We've seen how Oda can make minor bad guys with no real back story easy to sympathize with, but considering how we know Buggy's past, he's not really seriously driven as a villain, he just wants treasure. We know that he's not really bad, just, over confident, and selfish. But like I said, if Oda chose to, he could have Buggy join up, something happening like him stealing from the SH's, get's captured by the arcs bad guy, and Luffy saves him regardless, and he wants to join, but still acts as though he just wants the treasure.

So yea, While I really don't think it will happen, if Oda chose to, Buggy's a really easy character to turn into a SH.

Yeah no. Buggy's got his own crew running off of the fake reputation gained from current events, and seeing as how they interpret every little thing as some kind of testament to his strength, honor, intelligence, etc. there's not really any signs pointing to any kind of disbandment.

Besides, the guy drove out an entire town and was on the verge of blowing it up during the fight with Luffy. Buggy may be hilarious, but to say he's not a bad guy is overlooking things so he's got less than zero chance.

They are stronger then a normal human and can fight on water, with San Juan size he cant really fit that well on islands so a fight from the water might be possible but yes I see it the same way the SH battle with BB, San Juan will probably be the first to attack and get group owned or Monster Chopper could be a nice oponent also.

Well we dont know much about mermaids, we dont know nothing about mermen even, we neve saw one, so they can be pretty strong and have their own way of fightning also just like the fishman have their karate, but im on the fishman/woman wagon also I just like the race most of the fishmen we saw were really cool in my opinion and I would love to see one join.

That's exactly why a strong mermaid would be an exception to the norm fitting well in the SHs.

Not that you being sure or not of mermaids factors in to having one join over a fishman.

Well Chopper might become Agile in that forms even if he isnt huge he could agility kick the crap out of him if he was that strong he wouldnt be at order from Blacbeard, a guy with that size might be just a threat because of the size, Im thinking he must be pretty slow.

Ofc there might and will be a lot more to his character that we dont know and I wrote a bunch of retarded stuff but… well see.

It isn't just because they look cool (as cool as they are), I just think that a mermaid or mermen would just be too… easy, after all the heavy tension the SHs have had against fishmen (Arlong, etc) and all the tension they've had with fishmen (Jinbei, Hatchan), which hasn't happened with Merfolk. It's just makes sense to me to have to include one to finally make peace with that race.
In fact when said fishman joins, I'd like him or her to have a goal to bring peace and equality to all races.
(And yes, fishmen and merfolk can have fertile offspring with normal humans so I don't consider them different species and thus call them different races)

Well, one of my dreams is that eventually Monster Chopper will be not only powerful but agile as well, so it'd be a more reasonable fight than someone human-sized.
And I'm pretty sure he's much bigger than Moria and Kuma, both being only a little bit bigger than Kumadori, who was a rag doll compared to Monster Chopper.

Franky is going to combine with everything in the docs (minus the paddles?) and fight San Juan Wolf. It will incorporate the ship in the final series of battle(who has been personified as a crewmate since they first got merry), and is hinted at both by Robin suggesting Franky never do the "docking" again, because it's "embarrassing as a human." However, Sunny is not a human! Even Chopper brings up in the latest chapter, "can you merge with anything!?" So, get ready for Franky + Sunny Vs. San Juan Wolf.

San Juan Wolf didn't have a special treatment compared to the other Blackbeard pirates, so for the moment, a teamwork to beat him is out of question.

i agree with this because choppers monster point could have not only gotten perfected over the past 2 years but also could have gotten larger or more muscle like.

As for Wolf, well, that's a very good question. He could of held it up Atlas-style, but having to fight for his freedom rules that out. So, plot hole I guess.

don't understand me wrong but there is a ton of books talking about this
also in Navy u will learn every thing about basics in ships

look there is a big rule in any pirate or navy ship in past
the ship without basics will sink

No but seriously, I've always wanted Luffy to use Gear 3rd on his entire body and become a giant. If he can make one part of his body the size of a giant, it should be possible to make his entire body relatively proportional at a slightly smaller* size, like Nightmare Luffy. Kinda stupid, I guess.
