In Robin's flashback there's a model of different celestial bodies. Some people say they're moons around the OP world while others say they're different planets.
whatever they are they effet the tides.

Why do you say that?
What do the each of the straw hats do on the ship while they are sailing? Apart from the obvious such as sanji cooking, zoro training, franky building. Just curious on what else they do since they enjoy such a great enjoyable and adventurous life on their ship.
Sanji cooks
Zoro trains or sleeps
Franky makes new stuff or is maintanning the ship
Nami makes maps
Robin studies
Usopp makes new stuff or fishes all day
Chopper studies and makes medecine for the future or fishes all day
Brook plays music or fishes all day
Luffy fishes all day or is playing around with Usopp, Chopper and Brook

Opening 13 shows a bit of each of their activities; so does episode 384 (one of the few filler episodes that doesn't suck!).
Despite being retired, they are still powerful characters, not just in raw power but also in terms of information they will have, like data on the Admirals, marine crews, pirate crews, etc… So whose side will they take in the future, if any?
The side with the best retirement plan.
The Marines.
garp will eventually side with his son dragon when the time comes for revolutionaries to directly attack the WG
Fishing and eating cookies.
Don't forget about the goat, it will be there with them.
But yeah, it'd good to see those two (three). They're great characters. Especially Garp. I wonder if he wants to meet his son, Dragon. It'd be quite interesting.

He probably has since Logue Town.
He probably has since Logue Town.
I don't think so. The revolutionaries wouldn't want to get the WG's and the marine's attention by taking over an important town like Lougetown. They're still waiting for the right time.
No what I mean is that Garp specifically told Luffy he talked to his father before the Straw Hats left Water 7. Implying either they talked in person or over a telesnail. And the way Garp made it sound, it seemed like a normal casual thing.
Hi.
Ever since chapter 597, I've been wondering about something.
I REALLY hope that no-one has asked this before.
At the end of the chapter, Luffy puts his hat + Rayleigh's Vivrecard on a rock near a tree, mentioning that it's the only safe place on the island.
So my question is: was that tree some sort of Daft Green, which keeps away all the animals? (Movie 10)
Once again, sorry if someone has asked this before.
EvoWarrior5
Yes it was. Now did that really deserve its own thread?
yep. it did =D
but how do you know it was?
Year of the Tiger! My Year
Yet ur a monkey??
yep. it did =D
but how do you know it was?
Top right corner under "private messages" you'll see "Search" function, an amazing tool..

nice, didnt know theres a search.
even so, what am i suposed to fill in there?
when i searched for daft green, the best thing i found was chapter 597 discussion.
but am i srsly supposed to search through more than 50 pages to find an answer to my question?

LOL It does seem overwhelming, but usually when you hit the search, it comes up with a list of potential posts containing the search criteria (in this case, "Daft Green") in bold, so you know it's what they thoguht you were looking for, so you wouldn't have to look through all 50 pages.

Garp told Luffy "I heard you met your father." He was referring to Dragon interfering with Luffy vs Smoker. I don't recall Garp saying that he himself spoke to Dragon.
I don't think its outside reason to think that they might talk, though. Obviously not face to face, but maybe some agreed spot or person through which letters can be passed. Or maybe not, we really don't know anything about the interaction between them.
Do we know when Dragon started being a revolutionary? Trying to think of a timeline regarding the revolution, Roger's death, Luffy's birth, and Dragon getting that tattoo.

My bad, I answered to a totally different question.
But I do hope we'll see more of Dragon too. Since he appeared, I'm very curious about him. Garp must be a really bad parent, his son and grandsons became deadly enemies of the WG, and all he wanted was great marine kids. He messed up a little.
…
I have a question. Where did the goat's name come from? Who named it Pwngoat?

Aside from authorial fiat, I think its likely Dragon and Luffy didn't become marines because Garp was never there. At least we know he wasn't around to raise Luffy, and really leaving him to be raised by BANDITS…not instilling a healthy respect for the law there.
Aside from the fact that we know nothing about either of their mothers, at least in the case of Luffy having no steady parental figure, being moved around alot, and meeting lots of interesting people doesn't really make you want to sit at a marine base and salute.
just the fact that the shoulders are both round…otherwise not really
They don't look very much alike.
They're both cyborgs, I think that's pretty much it, nothing more or less.
Franky's new look is because he was in Vegapunk's lab. Just the fact that they're cyborgs, even if they don't look much alike besides the shoulders, could mean some relation to Vegapunk.
Cyborgs are not supposed to exist yet, Nami said it in Water 7.
I will ask it here…
How was Jimbei able to surivive Akainu fisting through him? Ace was fisted in the same manner and said, no medical treatment can save him from death.
And I don't see any difference in that

And I don't see any difference in that
Easy answer is that Jimbei isn't human. It seems like a fishman of a certain size is significantly stronger than a human of the same size, so from that we can determine that they aren't just humans with fish characteristics.
Drawing from that conclusion, we can also guess that its possible his internal organs are in different places, or he has different organs, or some part of being a fishman or whale shark fishman or just physically stronger than Ace helps him survive.

He is a fish. Fish don't feel pain. At least that's what japaneses think.

But they can die… And seems a bit strange in my eyes
well .. lots of fat ^^'' it saved him … ^^''
well .. lots of fat ^^'' it saved him … ^^''
The fat was pierced as well. He was punched through the whole body… Fat can save shit
We can't be 100% certain that it was fat, its entirely possible it was muscle or he just has larger organs or organs in a different configuration that made surviving possible.
Also unknown how fast he heals, or really anything else about fishman biology.
fishmen are physicly superior.
I'll say it's Law's ability that made him and Luffy suviving possible (Luffy was also fisted/pierced fyi).
He's able to switch things so he could've made a transplation of one or many organs to replace the burned ones via his still-not-clearly-explained power.
It may be me but , was Zoro always like this?
In the new manga episode he's all like "I….want...to....go...fishing.."
It almost seems that he doesn't care about the crew
WHY
Comedy, my friend, comedy.
Oh c'mon, give the guy a break, he just wants to go fishing.
Seriously though, wtf is this shit.
durr hurr can't grasp simple comedy
@Caxxo: I know right?
He's just like Chopper. He doesn't care about the crew either, otherwise he wouldn't have been tricked by the fakes. I mean, seriously, he really believed that they could change that much (in terms of character) during the two years? Shows how much trust he has in them. Seriously.
Caxxo:
Zoro is on Sabaody for more than 3 weeks. He doesn't know abaut the marines chasing the fakes or that all real strawhats are in the archipielago already. Then Sanji shows. Who is Sanji for not letting zoro go to fishing?
Kisshido:
I remember Jinbei turns to punch akainu and then akainu punch luffy, Jinbei reacts turning again but he doesn't get injured from behind.
