I know i might be kinda late for this, but there where people asking is Oda taking suggestions for the cover pages now. I knew i had read it somewhere so i went through all the SBS to find it and on SBS 56 i found it.
R: I just realized this, but even though you always listen to all sorts of wishes from your readers, you never publicity ask for a new character design, or ask us to think up a new Devil Fruit that will appear in the series? If I could make one… Hmm... A "Diarrhea Fruit" (gerigeri no mi) or a "Stomach Growl Fruit" (buriburi no mi)? A Stomach Growl Fruit eater whose stomach works perfectly, wouldn't that be cool? The editors and people at Jump sometimes change, but every time there is a new one, the first thing I tell them is to not give me suggestions. I want to have the confidence to say that I thought up all the people and the entire story by myself! If I rely on people once, I might keep doing it, and if it's a failure, I'll blame it on them. But if I succeed, it's because of my own ability, and if I fail, it's my own fault. I like that. Although I might want ideas on things that has nothing to do with the main story... Like the covers with Strawhats and animals. I'd love to get ideas for those. If you write "I'd like to see this animal and this person do something" on a scrap of paper for me, I'd love to draw that!

i never liked the covers with animals
they are just so absurd and out of the real one piece world
i think oda likes drawinf animals but he cant do it all through the story
so he just wants to put them somewhere and that is the cover page
where he doesnt have any limitations on what to put

Oda also probably originally planned on showing sanjis other eye post time skip and thought it would extra funny if the eyebrow on the same side as the right eye.

A sharpshooter with haki would be pretty much op? Imagine a machine gun with haki…
I always wanted ussop and yassop to team up one day. And if ussop needs to learn haki I hope it is during that day and at a critical moment. Some thing like yassop shoots the left knee of kizaru, while ussop shoots the right, which makes kizaru go down on his knees. XD

Putting aside that I can't recall any machine guns in OP, I think that there has to be a limit to how long haki can remain in an item. If not we'd see every marine firing bullets that can damage logia users. Or at least they would've put some effort like that into the bullets used at Marineford.
Regarding Usopp, I kinda want to see every Marine on the planet struck dumb and be unable to figure out that he is Sogeking so when the series is over he can go back to Kaya.
