So, it's been 2 years since I started coming on this site. Howver it's the first time IO am actually joining and posting. Also yes i am a luffy nami fan in case you were looking at my siggy but I blame the American version growing up ^^.

Anyways, What can I say about 598. I read the chapter about 10 times and it still amazes me. At the beginning it looked like Luffy got way more mature than before. I'm also happy to know that luffy knew what marriage was. he got my scared for a second. Also I hope it kills off the theory that Hancock will join the crew. He obviously doesn't like her. Never will. Anyways, The fake Straw hats were a surprise but they seem to be very strong for making it at the half way point. I'm disgusted by the Fake's using luffy's name to gain fame and stain his reputation . There is no fun in that.

Above all I expected everyone to change and they didn't disappoint. Sanji looks like he still loves women so that's good. Zoro, looks very bad ass. Franky, looks like a monster. Ussopp, became and buff while getting facial hair. He seems to have grown considerably. chopper looks to stay the same but I bet he came back with a ton of medical knowledge. Brook, looks amazing. A super star in his own right. Hopefully he got stronger and now just more famous. Now onto the ladies, my favorite part.

Robin O.O I didn't think she would get better with age but she sure didn't disappoint. Kudos to you mamacita.

Nami….....god has answered my prayers.... she totally changed. Wow, she gotten more mature. Her physique changed. more slender with bigger boobs. Definitely a plus. I loved how she rejected the Fake luffy. Yeah she would only be interested in the real luffy. The one who can move hearts and emotions.

Lastly, having the fake luffy bump into luffy was amazing, I guess luffy is on another level strength wise. This is like one chapter where his face was straight the most. He seems to be more calm. But you know what they say about those people. They always create the worse storms. OR something like that.

Onto 599, I want to see Zoro and Franky. I also want nami and luffy to meet up. It's been awhile since he gotten a beat down.

Gotta get used to new character design, but look really forward to get into a real good crew-together again! Love the color-pages and that Oda gave us a such straight-forward opening after the timeskip!

Most excited about Robins looks so far, and curious about to see Zoro again and to hear his stories (and how the heck he could get there first!).

I am most split about Namis new look/design, and maaaybe frankys. Love the longer hair on both of them, so that would add an plus for nami but a minus for franky. Also, it's quite striking how these two characters have grown in each direction bodywise-Nami is def. getting a too weird waist now, on the other hand franky looks just awesome with that body-mass.

Hehe, love the new sanji style, it suits him like hand in glove. Did anyone notice his Inazuma-ish pose?

Chopper is innocent and naive as usual, but I bet he has learned some superior medical skills---hmmm, how about him and Iva having a nice little chat?

Oh, that silly Brooke. I want him to move in to my hippie-collective. Love & peace, Brooke, your clothes are powah :3

Last but not least, I found the scar on Luffy quite funny. As someone pointed out "x marks the spot". And not only his strenght leveled up, his personality and mature awareness did too. Without loosing that optimistic smile Best part ever when he told Boa off.

Seeing Shakky and Rayleigh together again also made my day. I wanna grow old like that too

Yes, they were; otherwise, the Marines would have been trying to prepare for their arrival at Sabaody 2 years later. Since the place has become more lawless, I'd say they didn't get his message. Besides, there's already fodder for the SHs to test out their new skills.

Either way, it looks like the marines are gathering up a force to confront luffy. Which luffy they see is the question. But I hope luffy makes a scene and beats his fake counterpart. Way to disrespect what the straw hats stand for and for hitting on nami. Obviously the real one is better looking by 1000000%

I have an inkling that since the new Supreme Admiral wasn't mentioned by name, Sengoku's choice may have been overlooked and Akainu got in.

It makes more sense to me that way anyways because Akainu has been shown as the more mean/striving for justice character. I would rather see him beaten by luffy then Aokiji. There is definitely something about Aokiji that makes me like him and opposite is true for Akainu(he also killed Ace!)

haha yeah, maybe also because he helped robin that one time. Shows he is a nice guy who fights for justice, while akainu just seems like a government dog…who will fight against anything that the government brands as evil. He doesn't have his own sense of justice.

I would assume so. I've always thought that that "Akainu" "Aokiji" and "Kizaru" are merely titles that the three admirals get.

Makes me wonder which Sengoku was.

I hope Sakazuki got promoted to Fleet Admiral, I personally think it would fit his character, seeing as how the 2 marine bases were switched, he wants to be closer to the crime so he can deal out justice. And who ever said that Admirals have to be restricted to only 3 positions, there could be 1 admiral or 2, maybe even 5, no one knows :getlost: And they certainly don't need to be a logia user to be an admiral either, which leads me to believe that perhaps one of the VA's we've already seen, or new character of high rank that we haven't seen is an admiral.

Zoro didn't lose his arm. If you look at the color spread with the entire crew appearing, you'll see Zoro's sword being held in his left hand between Luffy's legs.

Interesting. During the war, Akainu was referred to, at times, as "Admiral Sakazuki." That struck several of us as being unusual, but we had no idea how to apply any significance to it. As if I wasn't already far enough on the Fleet Admiral Sakazuki bandwagon.

I found the crowd at Brook's concert to be funny with the banners, the "brook" signs and the souvenier fans with Brook's head on them among other details.
It's just very impressive that so much detail went into it.

I think my favorite detail there was the "DON!" written in bones.

Like i said before in the predictions thread.

The only supernovas I could see being successfull in the New World were Kid, Law and maybe Drake and Hawkins.

Urouge was overhyped here in the forum because of Urouge and the crazy Share the Urouge campaign, while the character is pretty cool he never seemed to me like he was going to anything awesome.

But well see.

that is possible but I hope it's not gonna happen.

First because everyone expect Akainu to be the fleet amiral and i like when Oda pull a "who would have guess that one ?"

Second because moving HQ wasn't a radical decision : Whitebeard territory (probably the third largest after WG and Dragon) is now ready to be conquer. It's the biggest opportunity for the WG and marines since..well, a very long time.

I have been thinking lately that Kizaru would be the new fleet admiral. Assuming the heavenly dragons have any political power, it would seem to me they would influence things so that Kizaru would come to power. He seems to be the one that is called on when they are threatened, so they might favor him. Plus he seems like the neutral choice. Akainu would probably ruin the marine with his overzealous attitude and Aokiji might be a little too lazy/kind-hearted.
