Hey, I hope you're not putting everyone in their same league, eh?
nope just those that confuse things oda did research on and kept in tune with later events with forshadowing.

Ah, guys that make crappy foreshadowings, I see… Those are kinda annoying.

You kind of new here and you don't knoe what kind of theories and forshadowing Sammsy is seeing :ninja:

i had a theory about an amazon lily attack, but please show me this forshadowing i have done? And my thoery is only hated because people DON'T WANT an amazon lily defend arc, not because it was completely baseless and random.
only crazy forshadowing one i can think of was mentioning how in loguetown Nami wore and outfit just like when we met Robin and she also wore and outfit strikingly similar to the one we met Hancock in.
oh and you keep saying that the WG wouldnt' be afraid of AL if they weren't afraid of WB and his 47 allies. not saying nothing about Al, but they were afraid of WB and thus never attacked him. They only finally set up a trap for him when they captured Ace. They would have never attacked whitebeard. this has nothign to do with Al, just letting you get your facts straight about their feelings on whitebeard.

Correct, look at the date I joined. Still Sammsy theories are nothing crazy in comparison with things I read that were way worse :whistling:

Yeah totally^^ You convinced me. After time skip… The marines will attack.
the WG dont think so far that Hancock rly betrayed them..as we saw they have to replace 3 shichibukai seats (Moria,BB and Jinbei). no talk about maybe 4 spots. when they would have known that Hancock is behind Luffy they would have already said that they have to replace 4 spots…but they didn
t (even when the conversation of the 5 gorousei was weeks after the WAR!.
so that they are right now planning to go against AL i think is unlikely..
also they didnt see Luffy on Boa
s ship cause so stupid they would enever be and i guess Rayleigh rly watched out that the place they are right now is damn save even after their second marineford-attack^^

yes i know that now. My theory is months old, back when the war was just ending. i dont' know why it keeps getting brought up and saying it can't happen because hancock is still a warlord.
you forgive me for not checking when you actually posted it..
you just talked about it in the chapter thread and so i guessed it wasn`t an old suggestion^^
(at least in the anime).
…..................
why would you think it was foreshadowing if it was anime-only
people need to stop interpreting every fucking thing Oda did 10 years ago as foreshadowing
@Don:
you forgive me for not checking when you actually posted it..

my first theory on it would have been back when hancock was doing stuff at the war that was seen by marines as questionable behavior. so you can see it was a long time ago.
my reason for the battle starting was at that time obviously the marines knowing she betrayed them. so now i'm being bashed because that didn't happen.
obviously i know that, and am not bringing up that as a reason for a AL defend arc. hell i ain't even bringing up an Amazon Lily defend arc. People like Kishido do, week after week they constantly say "ha sammsy or Deicide or others, no amazon lily defend arc, because this happened" such as only mentioning 3 warlord replacements.
and then i will say something as simple as after timeskip Luffy could declare the island his, and that would result in it. which then goes into them bitching about every aspect of my theory.
i mean hell we are STILL at amazon lily which all points lead to that being true, then until we leave there, the opportunity for an arc relating to it is always there.
Except what reason would Luffy have to claim AL? In fact, Luffy seems to be the type who wouldn't claim anything ever to be honest
i give you a tipp..just don`t respond anymore to such guys who teasing you with it all the time.
they look stupid doing so over and over again and you for even paying them attention anymore.
i wasnt aware of the fact that it
s an old suggestion so lets drop that issue:happy:
@Gol:
oh, hey bad poster that I don't like! How's your attempt at another pointless argument? :ninja:
To give my opinion, it probably was foreshadowed seeing as Luffy(Most innocent, perhaps most uninterested at women) landed at the isle of women perhaps Oda already thought of having Sanji land at the isle of gays seeing it as a comedic scene for the readers and a cruel twist of fate for Sanji.
Sammsy really isn't a bad poster…. and honestly... that isn't foreshadowing at all >_< That's more like them landing in opposite places based on their character traits. If Zoro landed on an island who hated swordsman, that would be the same.
Foreshadowing is more like... Showing Rayleigh however many chapters before he was reintroduced. But, I do agree with Sammsy on this one. Most of Oda's stuff isn't actual foreshadowing, but just going back and reading what he wrote. And that whole Bon Clay thing definitely wasn't. We're not even sure he's even been there.
I'm liking this topic a bit more… So, here's the idea:
Chopper = worst waste of time I've ever seen, however, to me, it seems like he'll need no more than two months to learn a few medical alchemy and then return the same way he was planning to return, via bird.
Sanji = no more than two months, and he'll have to earn his boat and the recipes by fighting fags...
Usopp = he'll have time to figure out how to escape, at his regular calculating pace and manner-- figuring it is Usopp, it'll take around the same amount of time.
Nami = obvious stuff, she'll just basically either get a ride off of the island, or the island will make a stop. Same time period, though.
Robin = has to re-enter the Grand Line from the start, therefore, it'll take around the same time period, if not less... It's the only plausible reason for even having her with the group, unless they steal a ship.
Franky = will have to learn how to build an icebreaker model ship to escape... I'm assuming this is the same time period, as well.
Brook = a rather pointless one-- he'll either be bought or saved, however, he just doesn't matter.
Zoro = Perona will help him in his travels to reach the crew, and Zoro will spend some more time here fighting baboons, it seems... After which, Perona will be on the hot seat.
Luffy = chances are that he will fight and train, if not, he'll rest and do other stuff... I'm leaning towards some discipline in Haki, although I cringe when I think of the idea.
The maximum amount of time it'll take them to reunite would probably be 2 months, meanwhile, I could see it come together in a few weeks, no problem.

You don't think more will come from Brook's story? Maybe more music abilities or something.
@Superbear:
You don't think more will come from Brook's story? Maybe more music abilities or something.
Personally, to me, his side story has been an enormous let down and probably the most disappointing of them all. Oda had a great motif to expand upon, but it just sucked and looked like crap when it was all said and done.
Now, it's even worse, and has become a joke (not in a funny sense).
I personally wish that Brook fell a little closer to the water, where his story would end sooner.
Chopper is a close second because Oda had him come back, a return trip…
Except what reason would Luffy have to claim AL? In fact, Luffy seems to be the type who wouldn't claim anything ever to be honest
Just for the fun and to have an AL arc. Luffy is always risking his life so why not AL as well?

Luffy wants to become the Pirate King–Pimps are pirates too. Rayleigh is leading him astray.

Yeah true that… And Luffy will be that pimp and will say "Hey even if the island is safe and the marines have no clue from boa's betrayal and some weeks/month/years have passed... I will take this island under my name and watch what will happen."
Heya guys I'v often wondered how would Luffy use haki against a logia?just say he haki punched Akainu's lava fist?wouldn't he burn his hand. All haki users we've seen so far carry a weapon,Rey,Sentumaru,Shanks,WB,Gorgons ect. Also many of the enemies to come can wield weapons.
Not too sure if a barefist haki could cancel out a logia move without damaging hand or not..unless someone prove me wrong?
Ok guys if Oda would give Luffy a weapon my choice would prob be a baton..luffy using a sword would look cool but wouldnt be unique.Or how about some sort of protective gloves. It's a very hard one to say cause were all use to Luffy pawn opponents with only his fist and feet.
What would you guys like to see?
Luffy having a weapon would ruin it alittle bit but I would have to say gauntlets
Meat Clever Yeaaaaaaaaa
Seeing how Luffy is so reckless i wouldn't put it past him to punch a magma man in the face with his bare hand. Also wouldn't the armour haki thing protect his body as armour should?
If he did have something it would probably be gloves that even sttretch when he goes gear third
Garp the Fist.
Ace's corpse .
That thing he carries during those Boss Luffy fillers.
@Kairouseki:
Ace's corpse .
Luffy is not Moria.
Ace's and WB corpse FTW.

Here is an example were Jinbei very likely used Armored Haki to grab Akainu's magma fist without loosing his hand.
As Rayleigh explains, Armored Haki surrounds your body with an invisible armor, which can also be used to touch Devil Fruit's users real bodies.
If he hits you with a Great Eruption, which is not his body…

That's reserved for Sabo.

No because the Armor Haki will protect his arm.
No because the Armor Haki will protect his arm.
HE do would burn his hand, but the haki attenuate it.
but I think luffy will remaim using his fist, perhaps he would have a
flint pistol, for stylish =D

no jimbei grabbed akainus magma fist and burnt his hands.jinbeis very strong and he isnt a confirmed haki user.
also i reckon u guys are taking that invisible armor thing out of context.that was uncles ray example as a way to picture it.
If I had to pick, I'd say - yeah, A Fighting Staff. Like Nyoibo.
Marco managed to kick Akainu without getting harmed.
I doubt that a trained Luffy wouldn't be able to do so.
Sandals might be good =D

Oh yeah i forgot, anyway i was joking i doubt Luffy is ever gonna use a weapon.

remember marco is a phoenix any damage on his body will be healed.also he wouldnt need a weapon cause his df makes his whole body a weapon and protects any damage unless it was sea stone or haki.
So, how did Vista and Shanks' swords didn't melt then?
[Marco's] df makes his whole body a weapon and protects any damage unless it was sea stone or haki.
Marco's Phoenix Fruit doesn't protect him from damage; it gives him the ability to heal damage he has received. There is a distinct difference between the two since the first would indicate that you need Haki to damage him(similar to a logia's intangibility).
Oh yeah i forgot, anyway i was joking i doubt Luffy is ever gonna use a weapon.
I wasn't serious either. It seems I need to work on my trolling skills.
hopefully im using the right thread but what do u guys think of luffy learning to vulcanize his rubber body to be not stretchy but as hard a a bowling ball
of course he could flip back and forth between being more like a rubber band or more like a bowling ball i think it would add a lot more to his fighting ability and his gears would be very interesting with this
the idea is doing the same thing crocdile does by getting the most out of ur DF
I have a feeling Akainu might be a little much for Armor on bare skin.
I think he'll tangle with Luffy.. but the one who will eventually fight and kill him will be Zoro once he becomes the greatest swordsman.
I know, I know.. I want Luffy to kick his ass too.. but it would reinforce the Nakama theme.
Only Zoro, mastering his abilities and armor haki combined with his ruthlessness could defeat Akainu..
Only Sanji.. with his natural fighting skill and avoiding the Newkama for 2 years could master Observation enough to avoid Kizaru's beams..
And only Luffy could defeat whomever else steps up to the plate be it Aokiji or Coby.
On another note, I could see Luffy learning Life Returns. It would give him an extremely varied new skill set. Like some of the stuff Mr Fantastic can do:
Reed Richards gained the power of elasticity from irradiation by cosmic rays. He has the ability to convert his entire body into a highly malleable state at will, allowing him to stretch, deform, and reform himself into virtually any shape. Reed Richards has been observed as being able to utilize his stretching form in a variety of offensive and defensive manners, such as compressing himself into a ball and ricocheting into enemies or flattening himself into a trampoline or a parachute to rescue a teammate. Reed is also able to shape his hands into hammer and mace style weapons, and concentrate his mass into his fist. All of these feats used to require extreme concentration; however, due to mental and physical training, he can now perform these feats at will. The most extreme demonstration of Reed's powers is when at one point he was able to increase his size and mass to Thing-like proportions which also increased his physical strength.

I have to tell you this doesnt sound fun at all! It just doesn't sound like luffy with all those sophisticated abilities. Just strengthening his punches and hardening his body sounds like enough to me.

I agree. They're a little much but it would probably be a little more along the lines of making his fists heavier or bulking up. I was just lazy and posted a wiki page. :D
