So you are saying that Oda won't be taking time off. I hope so. But at the same time I think that we readers also need some time to feel the time skip. It would be just weird if let's say the time skip is a year but we readers get it the week after. I'm worried that Oda might take a month off.
Yeah I doubt he's taking a break, think he said it himself multiple times that he is trying his best to move the story forward.
When he mentioned about the islands in the new world, having the SN's have side stories to show his other ideas. Since he can't make the SH's go through every single or one piece will take another 20 years or so.

Why would Crocodile, whom had trained himself to become intangible reflexively, be able to be hurt by Jozu?
I don't really understand why there would be a diamond > sand hierarchy… Although the magma > flame thing seemed a bit of a stretch to me as well. ...I'm probably just thinking too much about it.

Don't think about too much of those questions concerning logic when it comes to DFs.
I always asked myself if Aokiji could act in a liquid or gaseous form but since it's never gonna happen, why bother thinking about it?

Based on this article, I don't think it would. (Yes I was really bored when I stumbled onto this thread and actually looked it up.) The only reason scientists were able to melt diamond in this scenario was because they were able to expose it to a pressure that is 10 million times higher then what you would normally find at sea level.

Well, it was frozen, so probably they were able to "reattach" it to the rest of the body because it was conserved intact by the ice…I'm just trying to find an answer...

There is a series of Author's Notes from 2007. I'm guessing they come inside various OP books (as a separate flier/bookmark) that were released in 2007, such as the OP Yellow, 10th Anniv book, etc.
I own one of these (the one where he talks about eye patch in One Piece) and I managed to find 2 more versions on the web.
I wonder if these ever been translated or posted somewhere before?

Nope. Diamond deposits are confirmed to form in magma. All diamond mines are actually extinct volcanic sites. I can imagine Jozu getting stronger or healed in magma.

Does anyone else get the impression that Jewelry Bonney is supposed to be Jubilee Bonney?
I thought it would be a better romanization, I know that Oda already wrote it all out, but I thought it sounded better.
EDIT: After rereading that, I made myself sound like I knew better than the author. :/

Cuz Luffy said he wanted around 10, Oda hasn't hinted in anyway that the crew is complete and will not be getting anymore (permanently).
Time skip and being in the NW really don't mean anything. Nor does the character development the current crew has.
The need for 2 more is directly based on what Oda says though.

About Joz, if you cut off an appendage irl, you can get it reattached so long as you have it on ice. Seeing how Joz was entirely frozen, I don't see a problem with them defrosting his arm and reattaching the nerves/arteries/muscle/whatever…but then again, I'm not a doctor, much less a One Piece doctor...

The crew has been through a lot of defining moments (stating their dreams as they entered the Grand Line, the sign of the nakama to Vivi, declaring war to the government, etc.) and still continued to add members. Even if they're entering the New World, the journey's only about half done (though I do think they'll get another member before they enter, in FI.) It's not like they are tacking on a new guy right as they reach Raftel.
If the 10 crewmates thing were just based on Luffy's comment at the beginning, I could pass it off as a throwaway line, but Oda's followed up by numbering each time someone joins (Brook's the eighth.) I doubt he'd do that if there was no significance.

Why would it be Jubilee? Jewelry is the word Oda (who doesn't have the best English) is more likely to know.

This is true but in One Piece it seems you can also attach other ppl's or things arms to you and function regularly.

It didn't look that much like it snapped off. Popped out of it's socket or broken bones, perhaps.
