Folks, no insulting other contestants choices.
For cripes sake I put Goku in there. As I already explained, I had assumed the audience here was more varied than the one basic noobie staple and that while Goku would be a heavy contender, who absolutely deserves to be in this group, it'd be balanced out by other badasses. In any event, the fight for second place is really close, consider that the contest if Goku bothers you so much.
And yes, there are characters missing. I'm sorry that the million+ lead characters in all of fiction couldn't be included in a 10 person poll. Jean ValJean, Huck Finn, Haviland Tuff and John Blackthorne are awesome too, but they aren't here.
We could have included Ichigo and Naruto as well, we assumed most people wouldn't want that.
JoJo was one of the series we discussed, but its got like 7 generational leads who are all awesome, it'd be unfair to just pick, say, Jotaro.
There WILL be other filler matches with other themes, and other characters will be coming. So chill and enjoy the match for what it is.

Damn… This was a pretty hard decision to make for me. Choosing either Kenshiro or Goku... Kenshiro's the Japanese Batman while Goku's the Japanese Superman... Still, I chose Goku though! DBZ FTW.Kenshiro's still one of the best though. Lupin's also cool too.

These moments are awkward for me, considering the fact that I'll always be a bigger video game fan than an anime fan. I only know OF about two thirds of these guys, seen a frequent episodes of two of these guys (Dragonball and Lupin III. from Toonami/Adult Swim days), and faithfully watched the one I voted for (Alucard, Hellsing). Almost makes me feel bad.
But Alucard is awesome.

The term sheep is used online as a word for "Follower" but it can also be used as a term for "Follow" in cases like "I'm gonna sheep", so when I say "Sheep gonna sheep" it's sort of like saying "Followers gonna follow" except "Followers" and "Follow" are diffrent words so I used the term "Sheep" in it's online sense which can be used both ways.
