Why so much Trigun hate!? Yes, the art is bad, you can't really understand what's going on in some of the action scenes. But I found the story and the final outcome very satisfactory.

Gyo, from the creator(s?) of Uzumaki. Most mangas I stop reading because I get bored before getting to the end or "today", that one I stoped reading because it was gross. Even if it had a real bedfarting dog.
I hated Death note becuz everyones kinda a douche and L like blames light with being kira like out of no where and when light gave up the death note and started helping L find himself even though its not him anymore drove me nuts cuz the whole stroy just dies and i dont know how wrighting someones name in a book and killing them can be cool once over used
Girls Saurus is the only one I could think of at the moment. By God it's Bad and it's not even fuuny. All of the jokes are quite creepy and there are only about two characters, but that's like saying what kind of paint you want to dry. I'm really wondering how a person could write this. Even when you compare to the Author other work, I wonder how she could write a good romace drama story then write this garbage. I'm sorry for the little rant. But's just so bad.

Oh god, I remember reading the first two chapters of this once. There were so many stock characters and stereotypes being thrown around it was painful.
Well the obvious Bleach and Naruto, the not as obvious Reborn and Fairy Tail, and for animes DBGT and Gundam Seed/Destiny were abominations not worthy of being lumped with the rest of their series/metaseries. Though for the record, I didn't mind Seed until the Destiny portion. Rehashed stuff? Yes. Bad? Not as much as Destiny. It was painful for me to watch Destiny, the characters, even the decent ones from the first series, all become unlikeable pieces of garbage. The original FMA anime was trash too. Oh and Seikon no Qwaser is an abomination, even for an ecchi with a creative controlling chemical elements action side… To sum up: the main character is a breastmilk Twilight vampire. And the other characters aren't much better...
I must be a rare breed cause I find Trigun Maximum to be better than the anime.
Also I like Shaman King not saying it's a top notch series but I like it. The only part I really hated was the backstory for yoh and anna, the rest I actually like.

I'd have to say the only manga I just stopped reading all together (Not necessarily "bad") was Fairy Tail. After the whole "Evil orgnaization trying to rez the ancient city/battleship thing" arc I just gave up. Up to that point I had been amused but that arc…it was just so cliche and bringing a certain someone back for the millionth time finally grated on my nerves. Besides that, Naruto and Bleach have been horrendous the past few years, but I still read them. I also never really liked Inuyasha after demo'ing a few volumes.

Someone said they hated 666 Satan!? What?! That manga was good until Kishi #2 did the time skip and made everything suck. The ending was the worst of all. Actually, 666 Satan and Naruto have similar problems. Oh, and I might as well rant about Gintama too. I've tried watching and reading it… and I just don't see all the hype. I might read more into the manga, but I couldn't get pass anime episode 12.

I can't say I'm surprised by the Gantz hate, it's definitely a series that you could easily find things to hate it for. It's not a bad manga by all means, tho. Just slow, very very slow. And now it's slow and tired, it's not so much bad as it is you just have no interest in keeping up with it.

Your manga reading experience comes mainly from One Piece and Berserk, two most epic and amazing series there is. Your standards are outrageosly high by now that you are bound to find only flaws and dissapointments. Though there are great mangas other than those two but they are the best.

Aside from the obvious trio of Naruto, Bleach and Inu Yasha, I can't name too many. Reborn's future arc was sloppy as hell, had poor characters, a stupid plot and even the finale was a waste of time, but overall the series is atleast mediocre. Rave Master was bad, although I read only a few chapters of it and dropped it.
GANTZ is.. Uh.. Plain weird. As bad as Bleach, but actually worth reading every once in a while. Albeit being slow as hell and too irritatingly unrealistic, it has some fancy artwork and a few badass characters, which make the pain feel a bit less outright bad.
And. Oh god, I'm going to be killed for this, but.. Personally, I think Monster fits into this category. I read some ~120 chapters of it and never got really into it. I didn't like the plot, I didn't like the characters nor the artwork. It was something that really made me feel awkward and I don't ever want to touch it again.. Ever..

I tend to forget that which I hate, but I remembered an awful one. "Happy World," a manga about a angel protecting a generic dude from getting killed by his genetic bad luck.
It goes to weird places. First it's this light generic series about angels and the characters trying to get used to this cute girl that does freaking nothing. Then, it suddenly becomes a very violent manga about cute kids brutally maiming things. Then suddenly, they're in Iraq! A mother scares bad American soldiers by reminding them them about breastfeeding. And it's canceled after 72 chapters.

Gantz was a great manga at its beginning, but the quality began decreasing with the Osaka mission. Now, the author seemed only interested in the relationship between Tae and Kei and forgot all the interesting character (the vampire, Nishi…). They were so many things to develop, but that was never done.
The manga is still quite good, but very disappointing.

lol - I am reading threw SDK right now. I'm about 90 chapters in. I won the first 10 book's on ebay for like 10 bucks. The first two volumes were shit but after that it got pretty entertaining. I don't think it is a wonderful manga or anything but as of where I am, 90-ish chapters, it moves a good pace and stays entertaining even if it is getting sloppy. Not sure if I will finish it or not one day but as of now I think it's all right.

lolllll yes SDK is SO BAD. definitely one of the worst. I think the only positive thing about it is that when you consider it objectively, the scope of the story and the amount of complexity in terms of tracking all the characters and their connections is pretty impressive.
but when you consider that the characters themselves are godawful and the corniest dorks that ever existed, plus like every single stereotype about crappy shonen battle manga (repeating themselves over and over, the "match commentator" chump who breaks down everything that happens, etc etc etc) it's really hard to even care about that.
I think the tipping point for me was near the end when they are getting ready to charge into the fortress of the ultimate bad guy and one person is like "I'M GETTING A PREMONITION… I THINK ONE OF US WILL DIE!!!" and then the other characters are like... "WHOA, WHOA, LET'S CHILL OUT. MAYBE WE WON'T WIN THIS BATTLE...BUT YOU THINK ONE OF US MIGHT DIE?!" yeah because when you attempt to overthrow the evil and mighty, when you lose they just open the door and kick you out onto the street. soooo stupid.

I can see how this applies to Gyo, but Uzamaki? Eh, from what I remember the ending was kinda conclusive even if none of the leads really accomplished anything positive.
Ranma 1 1/2… started off decent, and then quickly became crap. The ending was terrible; even cancelled series endings were better.
Hikaru No Go was good at first, then the ghost dipped for a stupid reason and it became shit.
Yugioh, the first part was pretty shitty, but after Kaiba's death olympics or w/etf it was called ended, it got better.
Air Gear; started off good, and then it became wtfish. It was like reading a science textbook.
Tenjou Tenge was pretty dumb throughout. I gave up after the main guy's retarded mom showed up and it got all drgaony and shit.
Inuyasha; again, started off good, and then by the 200th chapter i didnt give a fuck. Idk why Rumiko planned to have just ONE villain the entire story through for a 500+ chapter manga.

Reborn. Did I say this already? Who cares. I'll say it again. A perfect example of how a manga can start off interesting to an extremly boring and generic battle manga. Thinking about it makes me think the author's editors made some bad decisions underestimating the original's target audience.

fairy tail: a manga buy a oda apprentice, i thought for sure i would love it. It started off pretty bad but then after 10 or 12 chapter i started to like it a little and even would say it was good for about 60 chapters after then first 10, so form chapter 11-70 it was good or atleast acceptable. then all of a sudden then manga when to all hell. i went on to read about 30 more chapters before i had to say the most true words i could think of ….. fuck.... that..... shit. and i stop reading it

I was actually cleaning up my room earlier today and came across both volumes of Gyo. Easily one of the most unintentionally funny things I have read.
At the same time its also a frightening thought to catch a disease that transforms you into a spider-walking cyborg powered by flatulence.
My favorite part of Rave is when Mashima depicted the airship having suffered damage and needing to be repaired…by drawing countless hairline fractures criss-crossing the entire ship. Because that's how metal gets damaged.
