Personally, I feel it ties in with what Marco told to Nekomamushi and Inuarashi about how there are millions islands out there. I think Oda threw that conversation in there on purpose. Heck even Roger was adament about finding an island he didn't know about. That's why, Luffy's dream entails being the (first) person who has visited every island in the world. This would tie in directly into Nami's dream of making a world map and the whole theme of adventuring.

Chapter was honestly boring and admirals being able to do shit against bird cage doesn't feel logical.

Oda sure likes to end his chapters with Doffy smiling like a maniac, even when it's 13 pages, the man won't skip the tradition.

This episode was cringeworthy. Whether the fault lies with Shueisha or Toei, It's baffling how it's acceptable to present the best selling manga in Japan with a lq anime format like this.

If anything, without interference, this arc will grant Dragon so many advantages:

• Dressrosa being liberated.
• Not having to deal anymore with an old-time pirate with a grudge against his father.
• Dragon's protegé receiving one of the strongest devil fruits.

His popcorn will taste great this time around.

Did Toei or Jump intend to pass a hint (aka their wish) to Oda that he has to pair the Strawhats with the admirals in the final fight? I mean, Oda's pretty much the one to decide who will eventually fight who, and I can see Luffy VS Akainu happening but not really the other fights.
