@Deicide:
I just now noticed something…
In the spoiler thread, Ohana said that Kuma stated in this chapter that the crew would be crushed a few days into the New World in the level they were back on Sabaody. But on the chapter there's no mention of that. Was it Ohana's mistake, or Mangastream's translation that is lacking the text?
Not sure if anyone answered this yet (and honestly don't feel like working through 50 pages of discussion to see) but Kuma never says anything about the New World.
When he's whispering to Rayleigh (the infamous scene where Rayleigh replies, "You expect me to believe that?!") he says, "I'm a leader of the Revolutionary Army. If I have the chance, I would like to help this crew escape from here."
And then later, at Shakky's bar, he says, "Sorry for being so abrupt earlier. Please hear me out. I have no time left."
So, yeah. Completely fake spoiler is fake. He doesn't even say anything about them getting crushed there, let along in the New World. Obviously if Kuma needs to help them escape, he knows they couldn't survive the encounter with Kizaru. Maybe the spoiler provider stretched that to cover the new world, too? I mean, it could be a theory based on the text. shrug
Whatever happened to Luffy in the newspaper, it's something that's happened "again." Chopper didn't seem to know about Impel Down, so Luffy couldn't have broken in "again." In fact, Luffy's probably training at Amazon Lily right now, so I doubt there's anything that he's actually done that the WG knows about and we don't. So it's either a bounty increase or the Government is making up lies. If they are lying, though, why would they say he did something that he already did? Wouldn't they make up something even more extreme to make him out as a mega villain?
