While I find the characters in this series absolutely generic, boring, and just uninteresting, I'm a bit happy they're getting it animated. Plus I take zombies whenever I can get them.
Hoping not a lot of stuff is capped or censored, but it's expected.

Normally I could complain against overly use of fan-service but damn those chicks in this manga are good looking, art is top notch.
Good manga aswell, I am a huge fan of Zombie films and stories. Dawn of the Dead (2004) is one of my favorite movies. Left 4 Dead and other zombie games are great aswell. Zombie post-apocalypse survival is such an awesome theme for any story, and this is good manga with good charecters on top of it.

I just can't believe how slow this is going, I read the first 7 or so chapters in 2006 or so, and it's not even to chapter 30 yet? Berserk, Gantz… Why do all the ultra violent seinen series move so slow?

Animation quality looks nice, hope it stays that way througout the series. I think this is gonna be 13 eps. I hope they don't make up their own ending, and finish with a cliffhanger of sorts.

Animation quality looks so-so to me, I've seen enough trailers to be able to tell what will turn into a fine shot and what will be middling, and some of that trailer failed the test. Not by a lot, but failed none-the-less.

It's on constant hiatus because the writer is infamous for it.
He literally has dozens of novel projects he never finished, and threw out after a few volumes.
He's like the novelist equivalent of Togashi.(Not the artist, the writer)

I'm really impressed by the anime so far, even if it has been one episode. The animation was really good, the backgrounds and lighting was great too. Could of toned down the fan service, it's not that in your face in the manga. Either way I'm all for mindless fun.

Well there was more fan service in this particular episode than in the manga chapter it covers.
That's what I noticed anyway. Though I like how in the PV Trailer for HOTD they didn't edit the suicide scene out, but the actual episode had a fade to black just before he hit the floor. It'll be on the DVD and BD for sure though.

I just caught up on the manga. It sucks i knew he'd kill off Asami, but i was hoping he wouldnt and leave her as a permanent addition to the team. Well the story so far is great can't wait for the next chapter to come out.

new episodes are roughly same time as fairy tail. So sometime in last 12 hours or so they both came out, the new episode 2 and what 37? both air on monday sometime in japan. which is either super late sunday in U.S. or really early monday in U.S.
