I hope Sakura and Ino turn out to be the real villains. Sakura will be the mastermind, while Ino will be like Gin. Tenten could be like Kaname. They also destroyed nearly all of their henchmen. Zabuza, Orochimaru, and most of the Ataksuki's.

Any video footage was taken from an AMV and not actually captured and edited by me. (Well, I cut it up and moved it around to fit my whims… but the fast paced editing and effects were there in advance.) I'll try to find the badass video I stole the footage from on youtube later. And if I can't, I'll upload it myself. imovie does the zooming automatically and I haven't figure out how to get better wipes out of it, but its not too distracting I think.
I actually rather like how it turned out. At some later date I might go in and rework it using a more thought out and continuous narrative, with less constraint to what was specifically posted, and less stolen pre-edited video footage. But for the time being, I like it.
And, it reminds me of just how good the series really was a couple years ago, and even the good moments its had since that have been marred by uneven execution and the... crazier things.
I'm in my university library. When I get home, I will watch this out loud, laugh, cry, and make sweet love to it.

I've learned not to get my hopes up AT ALL for this series. Still, we have had one or two decent chapters and at least there's nothing abyssmal about this chapter from what we can tell (it's just very bland and boring) It's still possible Kishi could do something good with this last arc. But yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

When there's so much stupid stuff amidst part two, you forget the small moments here and there that were done right, and just HOW good part one actually was. (Narutosss did a particularly good job of picking actual series moments to match lyrics on the spur of the moment.)
That said, at 50+ chapters and counting since Hinata's confession, there'd better be some SERIOUS payoff to that when the time comes. And it pretty much bettr be in the form of a flashback, as in "oh, this scene actually happened back then, I just didn't show it at the time because it would interfere with all the Saukra material!"
Enough other pertinent character developments have been spontaneous flashback… I have to hope this is another one.

Ehh, it has its moments (however few there may be). Anyway, it's not like I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that the rest of the story is gonna suck like most of the rest of part two has, it's just I'm not gonna be surprised or too disappointed if it does suck.
As for Hinata, yeah, that's one of the main reasons I'm still reading this series. I mean, even if Kishi does come out with a huge payoff for her, it's still not gonna make up for how stupidly long he delayed it. Still, if he does get the two together I'll be happy as a clam.

The chapter was Karin acting and wanting food, Tsunade eating food and wanting Tonton, Naruto wanting food and eating worms. Frogs… summoning... prophecy... Kabuto and more summoning.
So, in conclusion the chaper was a about food and summoning so you were sort of close. xD
