@ThegreatPirateKing:
Actually, you were the only person who actually said anything in the way of comments the first time around so I didn't expect you to reply again. Thanks for that.
I would have preferred to have a longer interview but this was literally a last minute thing. I could have kept them for a few more minutes but honestly, there wasn't much else left of One Piece I hadn't already asked them (since the fish stuff was earlier, its not included here). The only thing I thought of asking was Patton's thoughts on Sentai dubbing through the old ADV studios but I just kind of… forgot. XD
You're welcome. I always try to make sure good people like yourself who go out of their way to share things like this with us fans don't feel like they're being ignored.
As for "overly excited", lol, I don't think it was a bad thing, but you may want to tone it down just a tad bit, although it must have been really exciting to see these guys, so I can understand.
@ThegreatPirateKing:
It certainly was! Sentai Filmworks, the company that formed once ADV fell, originally released shows with subtitles only, such as To-Love-Ru and the upcoming Gintama (which I can't wait for). However, they announced last month they plan to go back and create dubs for some of the shows they licensed, such as Clannad. They recorded these new dubs at Seraphim Studios which the most used ADV studio back in the day. Many old ADV actors returned for Clannad. Since Chris Patton worked there first, I was going to ask him what his thought were on it. Like I said, I just didn't have the time to remember! Hope that helps!
I didn't know that, thanks for the info. Do you happen to know if they are going to dub ToLoveRu at some point? I already purchased the subtitled version, but I'd buy the dub if they released on.
This is the team that has taken over from ADV? I wonder if there's any chance of them working with FUNi to get Hellsing Ultimate and Shakugan no Shana II + S done. :/
EDIT: Speaking of Hellsing Ultimate, I find it hilarious that Mike McFarland helped the director/writer write the lines for the Valentine Brothers, and all the swears. He said that Mike's "soul is as deep as a swamp" or something like that jokingly, and I find that hard to believe after hearing Mike's interview. xD But apparently Mike is friends with Hellsing's director, so I have hope in it getting dubbed.
Sorry for going off topic here.
