True, but I just don't see the Marines following the WB Alliance to the New World. I think they will start remain at Marineford.
Yeah, they probably won't chase them, but there is going to be a giant target on the WB pirates not just from the government, but other pirates looking to attack them while they are weak. It's just a thought on the reasoning behind keeping Luffy behind, Oda probably has a number of better ideas in his head.
It would be interesting if Boa Hancock took Luffy back to Amazon Lilly and that could serve as a means for him to become more adept at using Haki. Also, with Blackbeard on the loose, Level 6 prisoners free, Impel Down in disgrace and the casualties the Marines suffered, it will be a while before they can mount a full attack on Amazon Lilly to punish Boa Hancock.
True, they might not even attack if she decides to leave Amazon Lilly and remove the huge target she brings. I don't know what side of the split island she is on though, and even if they do escape, I don't know how she'd end up getting Luffy back to her island across the Calm Belt. When Luffy left there was some foreshadowing that he'd go back there with the rest of his crew.
True, but I don't think the Marines are all that surprised that Rayleigh has been on SA.
Agreed, but I doubt he'd be willing to take that risk, he does have the perfect hideout though when he goes to the Thousand Sunny. The Flying Fish Riders (if that's right) still have their base intact, he could hideout there with the ship.
One thing I cannot wait for is to see how high Luffy's bounty is once the dust settles in this war.
Same here, I enjoyed the latest chapter, but I am more interested to see how everything plays out.
