I have two theories:
1. Irrespective of what we've seen and read, there will be a character with 2 devil fruits. It could be that he's part human part machine and each part will have its own fruit but I'm sure it'll happen.
2. We'll meet monstrously strong people with DFs who will have trained with seastone, and while not having any DF powers would still be insanely strong (physically) even when they touch seastone to the extent that even when they are cuffed, they can escape and kick ass.
Don't know if mentioned before but I was thinking maybe one (or two?) of the Supernovas that has been introduced may get a Shichibukai offer after the war.
Since there'll be no Croc/BB, that position will be open. Jimbei is out also. I doubt Hancock is caught helping Luffy but that's not impossible either.
So I'm wondering if we'll see a Supernova as a Shichibukai…
I have a theory that after Marineford Luffy's bounty will go up to, I dunno say 450 mil. and Kidd's bounty will increase from him being badass but it will fall 20 mil. short of luffy he'll get pissed and try to capture Luffy and thats how there crews will meet again
I personally think that after this war the marines might just decide to get rid of the shichibukai altogether. Croc & Jimbei are on the other side, BB and Hancock (whether they know it or not), betrayed the marines and the rest of them haven't really had much impact on the outcome…hell, Doflamingo is basically the spectator and color commentary, what happened to Kuma, when's the last time we've even seen Moria, Hancock's basically not caring who she hits - pirate or marine - as long as they stay out of Luffy's way, Mihawk's been around, but it's not like he's done anything spectacular. I think it would be especially true if Akainu somehow got a promotion...he never liked the idea of the shichibukai anyway.
I'd just like to point out some sound and cool theories that I've seen in this thread and others:
-Franky is the son of Kaidou
-Supernovas becoming Shichibukais
-Shakky being Luffy's mom
-BB's plan of becoming a Yonkou
-The color of hair in relation to the Yonkous: (BB, WB, Kaidou, Shanks)
I was basing the colors on the 4 mythical beasts.
White Tiger
Red Bird
Blue Dragon
Black Tortoise
Since Teach is already black color I think that the tortoise yonkou of your theory will have yellow color. And that also makes sence- 3 basic colors, black and white.
I know about those 4 beasts and I'm pretty sure the bird is a phoenix and in op it's a blue one.
BB really doesn't have anything to do with animals tho.

blackbeard(even though he's not a yonkou he, in my opinion, count as having a color theme) white beard, red hair and blue smth.You can't repeat the black(nosehair) so that would be reasonable to change the color to…yellow. It is one of the 3 basic. So the line of similarity between Yonkou would not be cut.
Oh I didn't know he was basing it off of the yonkou just in general.
As for BB already having the black moniker yeah but I doubt he's going to take the yonkou title so I don't know if that leaves room for the 4th unknown or Kaidou to be "Black _____" or w/e

Kuro isn't a soru user.
Kuro's shakushi is just as fast as soru except he can't control the direction/who he's attacking ftr.
I don't know if he's knows about rokushiki but there's a chance that if/once he masters shakushi(is able to control who/what he attacks) there'll be a name change or something.

Well he'll mature a bit somewhat after this but in that version of OP Oda had Luffy in his 20s from the beginning. I think he made him younger in this version just for the kids. I doubt he'll ever be seen as mature just some progress from how he is now.

The Shicihbukai are slowly dismanteling themselves, so another foothold of the World Government is crumbling. (They'd have to replace Jimbei and Probably Hancock).
This era will truely end.

I long time ago late 2007 I made a prediction about the D bloodline. I think its time I reiterate and add some more.
Here goes…
The entire Poneglyph puzzle contains information regarding the ancient civilisation that was destroyed by its current opposition which is the Government in power today. The Poneglyphs not only reveal the name of the extinct civilisation but also mentions the location and the mighty leaders that ruled it. Those rulers all being from the infamous bloodline D.
The Government fear the D's and the history due to the possible revival of the kingdom, the atrocities the Government created, and the Ancient weapon used to wipe them from existence.
One piece itself is actually the person that will become the terrifying manifestation that reveals the history and ends the Governments reign of power, thus freeing the people/lands/seas. When Roger said he left everything in one piece, he meant he left the information and burden of the long extinct nation for the future saviour to uncover. When Luffy uncovers the puzzle of the void century, he himself will become the entire piece referred to as one piece.
The reason WhiteBeard wanted Ace to succeed was because he thought that he was the saviour Roger referred to.

The main point drawing a conclusion about the heir/saviour being becoming One Piece seems a little far-fetched…...but I'm thinking something along these lines/similar will occur. Hopefully we'll see some more information revealed from either Blackbeard, Sengoku or Robin that will help clarify my theory, or direct it towards the true answer to Oda's puzzle.
Shichibukai needs a new theme. Hopefully the next two are badasses worthy of making up for BB and Jimbei.

I liked the mythology. The slave trade and amazon connection were nice but I don't think Oda based the D. stuff off that.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Some ppl might think Kidd will accept but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hawkins or Law.
I think he put the treasure and history in raftel so that the person who finds OP also finds about the true history. Although BB is above the "gold is treasure", he doesn't have one archaeologist, he has no plans of exploring and finding out about history. He goes around taking on countries and islands without care for it's people.
Luffy may be able to take on marine HQ at some point, but not WG, he is good at finding allies, but the WG? Maybe he will mature alot as the series go on :P

Hmm, I suggested earlier that Avaro Pizarro was based on Francisco Pizarro the guy who conquered a part of South America. Seeing as how he has a feline face and clothing that appears to be made from the skin of a big cat, I have the theory that he has eaten the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Jaguar Devil Fruit. It would kind of fit, I think… right?

It's probably completely untrue, but i found it interesting, so i thought i would post it here.
I thought that "Corrupt King" Pizarro, more than likely named for Fransisco Pizarro, should have a devil fruit power that gives him control over disease, as a foil to Iva's hormones. He could "corrupt" the bodies of his foes, much in the way the spanish conquistadors did. Judging by his feline appearance, guns or drills for arms, and the fact that there's no evidence (so far) to support this, its just a random theory, but one i'd like to see nonetheless
