Wearisome. I feel like shit.
Thank god tomorrow is the last day of school and after that comes the bitchin' christmas break.
Post how your day was… (NEW)

Oh, the usual, smoked a cigar whilst bopping some bitches and generally killing people with my minigun.
But in snowy conditions.
-
Just bought my first cell phone ever
-
I burned my face, sadly on my chubbiness of enjoying chips and dip. Can of sauce hit the cabinet below, splashed and burned my forehead. Was a few centimeters away from ruining my career as an artist. Instead I just have a scar on my forehead that's probably permanent.
That's the price I pay for being fat.
-
Walked home from school in 20 inches of snow…Tripped...Pulled a muscle... Not going to school tomorrow.
-
Seems like everyone else has a shit ton of snow.
Couple days ago it snowed a couple inches, but it's almost all gone now. I would kill to have a foot or so. -
^ Same here, had an inch a little bit ago but it's almost gone now. It'll probably snow a lot more in the coming months though.
Well, at Subway nobody likes listening to Christmas music, which is fine, but the person there changed it to hip-hop which, if you pay attention to my posts, I despise with a passion. She does some of my work though so that kind of makes up for it.
Also at Subway, two girls from my school came in. One I don't know all that well so I didn't want to say anything and look stupid. The other one I'm pretty good friends with so I talked with her for a little bit.
-
Playing FFXII today, I killed Yiazmat - an enemy famous for his insane HP (more than 50,000,000 HP). I started around 5:30 and killed him at about 8:30.
Reading Uzumaki really made the time fly by.
I also learned a lot from Uzumaki. For example: If you know that strange light house by the ocean? STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM IT!

And its still snowing.DDDDDDDDDD:
WOAH
I've never seen snow in my life, that's AMAZING -
That boss seems like an awful waste of time. And with all the people raving about Uzumaki lately I'll probably give it a try, especially since it's pretty short.
-
@Kairouseki:

It is a waste of time, unless you are a completionist. I'm almost done with the game, and I'm pretty sure I won't pick it up ever again. That sounds pretty nice right about now.
Oh, and Uzumaki is great. It's very grusome though. Chapter 1-2 are awesome, but the best chapter for me is Chapter 7, Jack in the Box. Chapter 7 has SUCH an urban legend vibe.
But like many have said, the ending sucks. Read it for the individual stories of awesomeness.
-
Yeah, just started reading it, am on chapter 2 right now. Very creepy and gruesome.
Edit: The end to chapter 3! Oh my God!

Well, this has been a fairly awful week for me.
Last Friday night we had a ice storm sweep through my town that knocked out the electricity in three counties. The snow and ice was so brutal that it knocked over trees and electric poles everywhere, and the roads have been blocked by downed power lines and black ice. Of course, my county was the hardest hit and subsequently my electricity has been off for 5 days straight. NOT FUN AT ALL.
First off, everything in my refrigerator is ruined. About $250 dollars in groceries (including a 25lb turkey) had to be thrown out. I had a big dinner planned with my family and now I don't have a damn thing in my house to feed them with except non-perishables. It's been consistently in the mid-20s to mid-40s (F) all week, so while it's been cold enough to keep me miserable and shivering, it hasn't been cold enough to keep the food fresh. All my meat and ice cream had thawed, leaving a creamy, pungent blood-soup in my freezer that dripped down into my fridge, which I had to spend hours cleaning and disinfecting. Gah, my milk had chunks in it when I poured it out. Gross gross gross.
Because my heating system is electric, I've had to use an old-fashioned kerosene heater to keep warm. Although I am grateful for having something to keep me warm, the kerosene fumes were simply awful. I had to keep opening the windows to vent the fumes which, of course, let out all the heat as well. My lungs are so sore from breathing in that crap for hours. My street was also one of the last areas to get electricity restored because it is in such a rural area.
And finally, because the electricity has been out for so long, I have not been able to check the news or get on the Internet for days. 5 days without Internet is the cruelest cut of all. No blogging. No newsfeeds. No 4chan. No pixiv. And no AP forum. I simply cannot live like that, folks. I need my 'net.
Anyway, the damn electric company finally fixed whatever the problem was about an hour ago. I'm so happy to be able to get caught up on my daily stuff, but I'm still upset over the expense of losing everything in my fridge (and over the cost of kerosene–$4 bucks a gallon!). Ugh. And during the holidays too, when I'm especially broke.
Ho ho ho.

Every Christmas, my family sends Christmas cards to everyone we know. Amongst those people is my father's uncle. We aren't close, but we send cards just to be nice.
Year after year, we send a card but never get one in return. We don't expect or want one, we've just noticed we never get one back.
Well today, we got one back. The card was from my father's aunt (wife of said uncle).
Turns out, he's been dead for four years!!! How can you wait FOUR YEARS to tell relatives that someone in the family died?
Either way, not even my father will be upset about this. His uncle wasn't the nicest of men, and if anyone knows that best, it's my father.

Went Christmas shopping today. AND I BOUGHT A PUPPY IN A CACTUS SUIT TO KEEP ACE COMPANY:

LMAO. Puppy you are WAY TOO LATE BUDDY.

I think I'm becoming nocturnal. I went to bed at 4:30 this morning and didn't wake up until one in the afternoon. In the meantime, I discovered Dirpy and I'm starting to learn Alice Human Sacrifice on the piano, now that I have sheet music.
And I'm still listening to Turkish pop. Now and forever. -
WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GET THAT PUPPY?! I MUST HAS
I've been hacking my lungs out for a few days. I had to get up at the asscrack of done to get a shot, ended up with 4 shots. Called in for pizza, they didn't even put in our order so we waited around for them to make it and just got $5 taken off. Then as we find out I can't refil one of my meds yet we get a call the powers out. So we sat in the dark for an hour or so, then as soon as it comes back on my cousins decide they are gonna spend the night (6 and 10)… Which is torture, the older one is the worst brat alive.
Fuck my life DX Thank god there's presents tomorrow.
-
Huh. I'll have to go snag me one <3
-
I just took the marble out of a ramune bottle. It was pretty fun lmao:
-
so, it snowed here today.
still just trying to stay out of mom's way here so i'm just chilling in the back room all day :x
lips are still extremely dry since its arizona.
took a few pictures for my friends for when i get back.
been conjugating japanese verbs all day as well. -
Last night was awful. I read Uzumaki and spent hours awake at night, not being afraid, but just in a state of freaked-outness and pondering about the story. My cat gave me a heart attack twice when it jumped on my bed to look out of the window and jumped back again. I finally went to sleep at 4, after numerous attempts to remove Uzumaki from my mind.
That's the sort of person I am. I may not show it, but when something freaks me out, it freaks me out big-time. I watched a Doctor Who episode with those gas-mask zombies and it put me in a state of fear for 2 years.
…And I'm going to read Parasyte tonight.

I read it too and the movie doesn't even touch on the creep-factor. For me, the most horrifying manga I ever read was Battle Royale. The story and realistic art messed me up and kept me awake at night. I had to stop reading about halfway through the series because it made me physically nauseous. It was a few months before I could pick the story back up again to finish it.
Great series, though. Only the truly great stories can evoke an emotional response like that. xD
-
my aunt and uncle attempted to clip the cat's claws
lol that was fun to watch.been conjugating more japanese verbs and working on french a little.
mum and i were bickering a little too :/
i can't wait to come home. -

Read the novel, much better than the manga.
And yes, Uzumaki is really creepy but I'm not someone who will have trouble going to sleep after reading things like that.

Are Japanese verbs hard to conjugate or are they pretty regular? And French is a pain in the ass. Not necessarily because the verbs are hard to conjugate (though a few are) but that a lot of the conjugations sound exactly the same while being spelled differently.
-
So it seems I'm a wuss.
EDIT: Or not. Battle Royale didn't scare me at all. Nor affected me psychologically.
-
Damn boring. I am planning to go on a fast driving & crash into the next tree at 90 degree.
-

Hmm…a great day. First off, it's the first day off I've had in three weeks. Next, it's Christmas which is always good. I ended up getting a Wii Fit, Borderlands for PS3, and some nice new bed sheets with a comforter--all great stuff. What's better is that I could afford gifts for everyone this year. The unwrapping was great, my little bro got everything he wanted and my dog even got a gift, which was great to see. Watching a dog play with a new toy is hilarious, and here it reminded me of a kid getting the best toy for Christmas. The rest of the day was just goofing around with video games, no one really left the house but we all had a great dinner. Tomorrow I have to go to work at 5:45 am, so that kind of sucks but still today was good.
-
wedding was hitched, and got more gifties from the grandparents and father
Barnes and Noble gift card too - me thinks I'll be able to get a goodly amount of those One Piece speed up books.
-
Got some money now and later gonna get some basketball stuff and I'mma see what I can buy with the money.
-
Man I really hate it when I get shitty board games as presents.
Not trying to sound like a greedy asshole here, but still. I've got about 20 random, unopened board games sitting in my closet right now as well as at least 5 more copies of Monopoly. It's just a waste of money, and my parents just take them and re-gift them again to some other pour soul. What really pisses me off is that I try my utmost hardest to get everyone gifts that I think they'll really enjoy.
-
You know, there's starving children in Africa that would kill to play those boardgames. Shame on you.
-
I had to fuckin' work.
-
I had to fuckin' work.
Same here.
Working 8-5 in a grocery store on Christmas Day sucks on SO MANY LEVELS. The shit percentage goes about
30% Disorganization and chaos
50% Asshole customers
15% Weather conditions
5% Bad nights sleep -
I feel sorry for you… In England, it's practically illegal for shops to open on Christmas Day. (Apart from those small-time corner shops and such, seeing as they are usually owned by Muslims:ninja:)

Turns out the scar is permanent, but not as visible as I thought it would be. Just a slight darker red than my natural skin color, no big deal.
Found out that this computer, is no where NEAR capable of running Autodesk maya 2009.
