But as for the fact that it has anything to do with devil-fruits.. I'm sorry. It just doesn't seem plausible. Besides Brook, it seems that devil fruit users lose their devil fruits in death. Those zombies bare the resemblance to the kind of mixed-up looking zombies on Thriller Bark, so I can't buy that it's related to some power they have.

And just to add: That spider guy is likely a spider-zoan, or some type of spider-race on the Grand line. I know you weren't saying he was a zombie, but I wanted to clarify in case someone brings tries to say I'm implying otherwise.

Don't really know about the minotaur. Could be some kinda zoan but the bear could easily be explained as a marine bear that belongs to the same race as Bepbo (from Law's crew) does.

ok, i admit that reason i pointed out wasn't exactly the best, but i was simply too lazy to post the following:
why is it exactly that none of the big shots has yet entered the center point of the enemy force (moby dick/execution platform)? i mean, you would get the best possible shot at WB and at ending the war and it's not as if no marine at all would be able to get on board of the moby dick: after all, crocodile managed.
so why? simple: if you're alone amidst hundreds of WB pirates who want to fuck you, you're fucked. same for the strongest army the navy could gather: if no one was to help luffy, he would be captured by next chapter ( or: would have simply been killed by kizaru tis chap.)

croc is now captured by the WB pirates and out of the game for a while.

Nah it is still pretty laughably stupid. If It's Hogback that's making the zombies it would mean that Hogback is running around the battlefield holding Absalom hand or getting a piggyback ride. Since you have to touch Absalom to stay invisible. Then as soon as people die. They run to the dead body. Absalom puts Hogback down. Hogback quickly bandages them up, stitches them, puts random body parts on, buries them while Absalom is still holding Hogback. Then gives Moria the signal to revive them. Then Hogback gets back on Absalom and goes to the next dead person. All that shit happens in a few seconds in the middle of a huge war.

I mean really how fucking ridiculous is that. At least the whole Hogback made zombies before and buried them makes some kinda sense. The former is just stupid and too elaborate.

Small as the panel is, the guys blocking Croc from WB don't look any different from the scrubs that were late in noticing he had made a move on WB in the first place. He's not in the best spot, but I doubt he's captured. I just think he's too big a name to not get involved in a more interesting scuffle.

I have to wonder how the next chapter or so will play out. While it's likely that Luffy will run into a big name (is it too early for him to fight Akainu?) you figure that whatever Sengoku's plan is will be something that obstructs him from just running up to Ace and bouncing out of there.

i don't even really know about him being a big name anymore, after all he already was a very serious villain for an entire arc, lost to luffy and thus gave up all will to do anything at all. his role in marineford was brief, but he did try to achieve his goal with all his power. even assuming he escaped the WBPs, what exactly would he do? after all his interest in this war was really only killing WB, and without the surprise moment that would be out of question, so he'd only be fodder again to him (so i rule that out simply from a plot point of view). if he were to just fight on the battlefield, he would probably be attacked by both marines and pirates, unless he somehow went to sengoku begging him to get the shichi title back. sure as hell he won't do that last thing.
i'm not saying that he won't play any role anymore, i'm just saying that he is in some deep, deep shit right now, and that that shit he's in somewhat lowers his chances of playing any role anymore.

I hate to post but seriously. Moira wants him for a zombie, Moira just hit him with a 'shadow spear' and now he's already missing a leg. How do you get legs reattached to bodies in OP? Maybe sew them on… seems like a pretty direct setup for zombification to me, though I can't see where it would necessarily lead in the overall plot.

Like what, some goons holding swords in front of him and pointing rifles at him? They don't exactly appear to have him locked up and being pushed around by devil fruit users. No offense, but all we can discern from that one relatively uninformative panel is that their are some WB pirates of unknown status standing in his way. He's preoccupied and I agree with you that he probably won't do much in the war (outside of scuffling with some marine/pirate) but I don't think what little we know of his situation qualifies as deep, deep shit until we see more.

This is so stupid. Give Moria his zombie army and it takes out all fodder and they can back up again to slow down the NW captains. That takes a load off of the marines.

Nobody, no matter how strong they are can just keep using powerful attacks over and over on an opponent who doesn't even feel it. You're not making much sense. You'd have a point if you brought up Jimbei somehow already hearing about the zombies weaknesses but he can just keep making them and it's not like he can be KO'ed in one hit to stop him by anyone other than the top tiers and if he gained their attention that would just prove that what he's doing is working.

I didn't say they were indestructible. They're zombies.

The reason why the zombie generals didn't come back or any other defeated zombies is because they were either purified or defeated. If Moria chooses to all he has to do is summon and command them to do his bidding and they will. If they're destroyed all he has to do is get more zombies(W/e he did this past chap he can do again, use the dead bodies lying around or get more zombies from wherever Hogback has them. I'm sure those weren't the only zombies he had there).

I expect that with purified zombies Jimbei just beat. Moria will get pissed, make a face, maybe actually do some fighting of his own with doppleman, and then rely on more zombies.

I don't know why you brought up a fucking pointless statement at the end of your post. Stating the obvious much? Same goes for the rest of them.

The same can apply to any other Shichibukai actually, Hancock, Jimbei, even Mihawk would have a really hard time if the Admirals were on his track. Seriusly people, Moria is a Shichibukai, no more, no less in this war than any of his fellow warlords.

Moria isn't a good fighter; in fact, he's not a fighter. He's been terribly weak ever since he's appeared, and isn't any better now, so I completely agree (I never liked him either).

It's not surprising Luffy looked down at him as an annoyance… that's all he really is :P

Well if the wires just cut, then Buggy shouldn't have a problem, unless the wires have another property to them. For all we know Buggy could split and DoFlamingo could just control one piece (I don't know if he has a limit on how much he can control at one time) and Buggy couldn't reattach that piece.

Blackbeard is just extremely strong..I don't think its a testament to Jimbei' weakness. Ace is probably as strong as an admiral…Blackbeard is probably the strongest person introduced on the marines side of things so far who has actually done anything.

Not to mention Jimbei doesn't have a devil fruit ability...could you imagine how strong he had to be to fight ace without using a devil fruit (Unless ace didn't have a devil fruit at this time, don't particularly remember)

Not to mention, i don't think croc is particularly weak. I think he is just as strong as all the other logia fruit users, it's just that his DF had its weakness exposed extremely quickly, giving Luffy a major advantage. Crocodile basically killed luffy twice, he was saved by nico robin once, and got lucky the second time.
