I know who Ur talking about but if U look closely after that U can C the 2marines. They're being covered by the speech bubbles that state it was Mihawks strongest slash but U can still C their shoulders. It on the left side of the page.

"Jaws" is ジョーズ, just a stretched out Jozu, so it's quite similar, and is a good possibility.

Romanization of Jozu is, of course, unknown until something officially comes out. So call him whatever.

This whole thing started from me making fun of the translation that was on onemanga, btw (and still is http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/553/14-15/ ). Which, to be fair, will do a lot more damage than I could ever do.

Now let's talk about something fun. Has any of you played One Piece Grand Battle/Adventure? I just fixed my PS2 and I threw in Grand Adventure for fun to see if I still liked it (I do) and I came to the conclusion that maybe when this war is nearly over or when a substantial amount of characters have shown techniques that we could get another sequel. This war will showcase quite a lot of new character's moves and there are still some other characters that need to be placed in the game such as Moria, Odz, Lucci and friends. I would like to see Whitebeard, Kizaru and Kuma in the game the most since their moves would be very fun to use in that format. But while saying that I would also like a revamp of the game play of Grand battle because it seemed too limited. Maybe if they went the way of Final Fantasy Dissidia it could hold a lot more awesome.

The main reason I bring this up is because I think the battlefield as it is now would be a perfect stage. Fighting in the middle of a bunch of pirates and soldiers on a frozen ocean and two frozen surreal tsunamis at either side.

I've been wanting another Grand Battle game for a while now. When'd Rush come out? The thing is I have the Japanese ones but Funi should bring it over. With what, 50 or 60 characters? That'd be awesome . Probably won't be that much though :sad: .

Like where the people are full size? They tried that with FFOP and it didn't seem to work. I'd like one with the same sort of play system as the DBZ Sparking games. I'd be fine with another GB game too. Bandai also needs to bring over the Cruise games.

The reason that didn't work was because the game's presentation and gameplay were horrible. It had nothing to do with the layout/look of the game. Many other anime/manga have fullsized characters in their fighting games (Reborn! Naruto, Bleach, FOTNS) and it has worked. If the style and gameplay are good and true to the series then everything else is sure to follow.

Some random marine said that, and they probably call every attack from him world's strongest insert sword move here, i.e world's strongest cut, world's strongest stab, world's strongest parry, simply put that was an unnamed attack from Mihawk that Oda used to showcase Jozu/Joes/Jaws/Jose/Joz w/e his name is, other than that it doesn't tell us anything.

Yes because Mihawk has the strongest slashes so they'd say he blocked the strongest sword attack but it doesn't mean it was THE strongest sword attack.

It dosen't. I don't actually know how powerful he is and I never said I did. But if he was able 2block his strongest attack with just his body then he's definately stronger then Mihawk. At least his body is anyway. Not sure about the actuall strength of Jose's attacks though.

Exactly…for now all we can do is use our own translations of the incident. As far as we know it was declared the world's strongest slash(or sword attack). And we R just left 2trust that. However, being the strongest doesn't mean its the best.

And I don't think that it was those 2marines that said it. I don't think that those speech bubbles came from any1. Though if they did it would hav 2hav been those 2marines.

I, along with many others, don't believe the slash from Mihawk was his strongest. The guy saying that it was the world's strongest slash is because Mihawk is the strongest swordsman and he's using the strongest sword, not because the slash itself was the strongest.

It's one of those moments where a random, nameless character announces something in a yell, like just imagine someone who saw Mihawk slash and saw it blocked say "Whoa! It's diamond Jozu, he blocked the world's strongest slash" it's easier to picture it as a side character in the background yelling it out, they do this a lot in anime.

I doubt Mihawk would make a potshot at WB his strongest slash, I also doubt his strongest slash is one in which his sword doesn't make contact.
