I don't see Marco being a Zoan (at the moment). That weird ass panel of him, do they really look wings? I was thinking he somehow absorbed the light and somehow he gained blue flames? It looks like a circular motion, and from what I know phoenix's don't spin or anything with wings (looks like spinning). It didn't even look like he transformed. Also first impression of that panel with all the smaller flames over his body made me think of Logia, but then that would meant he attacks would've gotten to Whitebeard. It looks like he is getting serious/ready to attack.
From Marco's attack/defense, it looks like he is spinning; maybe he spins really fast to absorb the light; but then again again the Kizaru's attack looks like it is hitting something (with the spark/explosion in that panel).

Some people might be jumping the gun on Marco. I'd love to see another rare zoan(they need more love) type, but those "wings" might just be an effect from his arms from spinning.

I think everyone knows that those NW captains who aren't going to make much of a difference in this war. Oda didn't nearly spend enough time on their character designs, so to assume they'll be inconsequential against the shichibukai isn't a stretch. They're side characters, and from the lack of screentime some of the other division captains seems like they'll get similar treatments, but who knows they might still surprise us.

As is your assumption that Mihawk isn't a match for Whitebeard after one attack–jumping the gun much? Isn't this "the battle of the highest?" Yeah, Whitebeard is the raining champion, but isn't the point of this war that his title is up for grabs? Why is one shichibukai any less of a contender then the other? How does everyone know that? From character design? That's a really weak argument imo. Put Luffy in a lineup of any number of characters and character design sure isn't gonna be what helps you pin him down as the main character.

That all took place at least 10 years ago and who knows how strong they were then and how far each has come since.

And none of the Shichibukai are contenders. BB might be one day if he continue to grows as he has been, but he's not ready now.

Bleach chapter all seem like a huge empty space - in this chapter of One Piece there's so much artwork on the doublepages it HURTS (in a good way) and my eyes bleed from how amazing and detailed Oda's comics style is!

I am not talking about the drawings, but the content itself.
It was a whole chapter spent on people clashing, making "challenging faces" to their enemies and a preview of their abilities. And that, to me = Bleach chapter.

Sure he could. Anything is possible. However, there is much reason to assume he doesn't fit, at all, and no convincing reason to assume he does.

For instance, Mihawk is a pirate that answers to the WG in the Golden Age of Piracy, and Shanks is revered as a near god and called king of the pirates in the same era. Quite a disparity that would very logically lead one to assume a great difference in power. Obviously this doesn't confirm anything, but it is also quite telling.

I had to laugh at all who think Mihawk is a Yonkou level

Mihawk stopped seeking duels with Shanks because he lost his arm. We don't know if Mihawk or Shanks were equal then or if Mihawk kept losing back then. Lets not forget Mihawk is a swordsman so pride is virtue, if Shanks gets a disadvantage by losing an arm, he obviously won't seek to fight him anymore - even if Shanks is still better than him in a fight.

Also let's not forget a Yonkou is a fleet of pirates. Several of Shanks pirates could be equal to him, like how we compare Zoro to Luffy.

What? Nameless character always beat named characters, I thought this much was a given. Yeah, it's possible that some of these guys will develop a personality, but right now the only purpose they serve is awesome page spreads and fights amongst the nameless marines. That's common logic.

I'm pretty tired of hearing "10 years have passed since then," when the author and story have done nothing to indicate that anything has changed between those characters in that time. I'm also tired of people assuming that everything has changed in tens years, because after twisting this fact really what's the point of using it anymore? It was supposed to mean that Shanks and Mihawk have some kind of connection, but now it's become worthless.

Besides that, you're being a killjoy. Part of the fun of this war is that everyone is after Whitebeard's head, and one display of power shouldn't be enough to make you assume that "none of them are contenders." Just because two tidal waves can wreck a building doesn't mean much in a one on one fight. This war has just started, you can't know the conclusion yet. That'd be boring. "Yonkou Level," "shichibukai level" are all arbitrary facts in this war.

It's especially early to draw a conclusion from Mihawk throwing one nameless attack that was ultimately a white blur and a few speed lines. Really, under that assumption it's just as fair to assume that Ao Kiji and Kizaru used their strongest attacks since they were attacking the World's Strongest Man, yet we know that's not the case since we've seen Ao and Kizaru use stronger moves. The only difference with Mihawk is we've never seen him seriously attack before.

Also, if you're going to speculate about Mihawk…could you at least have some fun with it? I actually think you're trying to prove Mihawk is weaker then Whitebeard...ya loser! (besides I already assume that. However, I enjoy assuming that they're both worthy opponents for each other). You could be attempting to make Kishido or Neomaster freak out, but no. You have a point to prove. Lame.

Difference n1: Garp's chin beard has a portion that goes up to his lip, whilst the dog guy's does not. The upper portion of his chin is visible and hairless.

Difference n2: Garp's beard is a goatee, which means it encloses the mouth and chin, but does not cover the entire jawline. The dog guy's does. The beard goas all the way up it's jawbone and then it is unclear whether or not it continues framing the face upwards.

Difference n3: Garp's usual shirt colour is dark blue, or black in the manga, and the dog guy's is white. You could say he changed his shirt since the last chapter for some reason, but no.

Stop whining.

P.S: The guy in the middle-right of the same panel is the coolest mutha so far. Love the stache.
