Also, I'm getting REALLY tired (after just three days) of people complaining abotu 20 months of pregnancy. In a series as much about devotion and strength of will and sacrifice for loved ones as this one, where a guy being really angry can knock out a crowd of fodder, its NOT that big a deal.

Will is a strong strong force in this series. Especially the Will of D.

Alternatively, someone entirely unpredictable walks on the scene all calm with his Haki knocking everyone out (which I hope doesn't happen unless Oda does it really well, which he most probably will).

I can also imagine that Gold Roger gave himself up to distract attention away from Rouge and Ace. In the flashback of him getting executed, it didn't seem like he went up there to start a new age of pirates. He was just relaxed and told the marines to get on with it until someone yelled out that they wanted to know where 'One Piece' is and he answered the question thus starting the pirate age. So everyone has that one curious guy who yelled out to ask where 'One Piece' is for the story and the pirate age…....I imagine the World Government may have visited him later.

Actually, when you think about it, when Roger said he wasn't going to die, he may have meant it in more than sparking the dawn of the Golden Age of Pirates. He knew Rouge was pregnant, so when he said "I won't die" he also could mean it in the sense that he left progeny.

Nope. it completley fan made up. Someone said at some point "Oda said in SBS that…" and do to the fact that translations of the sbs ARE available, but not commonly and easily found on say, onemanga, most people can't factcheck and just believe it.

anyone thinks that Rayleigh will join the fight, since it's his captain's son, and he is very close from there, heck i think when Kuma talked to him, he told him that roger's son was captured and Rayleigh asked him if he was sure … since the execution news was only released at the time when Rayleigh and SH were chatting in Shacky's place, it somehow fits ...

Imagine if the Disbanded PK crew shows up xD that would be epic xD

Anyone else find the cities chosen in the Blues to be a little strange? I mean, different cultures and all, but Unlike the Grand Line, the Blues (to themselves) should be in fairly good contact with one another. They have compasses, maps, and in East Blue's case, even bridges connecting the islands (some of them). Not to mention all the seasons would be the same throughout the islands.

By the way, I know the Grand Line's excluded from this rule, but did anyone else notice that it's Winter in the Northern Hemisphere (and thus Summer in the Southern), based on the fact that it's snowing in North Blue and it's tropical and bright in South and West Blue. But then why is East Blue all Sunny and Warm, too? Where Robin is/was (Tequila Wolf) it's Snowing…

Arrgh, it doesn't make any sense.

North Blue is most likely always snowing or extremely cold. Look at Law's Crew who hails from North Blue. All of them are wearing winter clothes and coats. As for Tequila Wolf. It may be in East Blue but it's closer to where North Blue starts so it's always snowing.

Excellent chapter. What I find interesting is that Tsuru is down in the battleground. I thought that woman was just talented knowledge wise, but apparently she is a fighter as well.

Also, did Mihawk and Hancock become taller since we last seen them? They appear to be towering above the marines.

it could be possible, cuz perhaps they have a method of communication between each other and maybe they each have a vivre card of Rayleigh (since he was the vice captain)

If what Kuma told Rayleigh is that rogers kid was captured, then he would have 7 days till execution …

i just have a feeling they might show up since Rayleigh in the first place is close and im sure he won't allow Roger's son to be executed, neither anyone else from his crew (only people who knew)

It was nice seeing setup of marines in the chapter. But the whole Gol D Roger is ace father does not blow me away too much. I mean it was already thought holy shit your father Dragon. I guess the only next best step would be to be the son of the pirate king. Just can't wait for Shit to hit the fan incomeing chapters

I'm pretty sure he won't fight, he'll just lay back and watch the action…. The world's best swordsman, the same guy that was in roger's own crew, his actions are the most unexpected of all of the shichibukai.

WB, Luffy (and crew), Dragon, Rayleigh, Shanks, Garp, and i think someone mentioned Boa and or Kuma.

Is Rouge's name pronounced like a thief or pirate, or is it pronounced like the French word for red? And this chapter was awesome. I liked seeing the reactions to Ace's execution form all 4 of the seas and the Grand Line. I want to see more of Akainu, Mihawk ,and Doflamingo. Hopefully this war will be totally epic, and knowing Oda it will.

I'd scrap Shanks off that list, it was said he was busy with another yonkou who wanted to stop WB.

But you can add the BB pirates and Doflamingo.. they won't be rescuing Ace as such probably, but we know they're up to something, and that something might cause enough of a distraction for someone else (probably Luffy) to save Ace.

And Boa.. hm, the last thing she remembers of Luffy was, in her mind, him saying he loved her! So she's not going to let Ace die just like that.

This was a good chapter but I feel I would've liked it better if I hadn't read the spoilers. I might stay away next week. Anyway, the revelation was a pretty big one. I didn't see it coming. And it was so nice to see all 3 Admirals together, see some other marines like Smoker and Hina, and see 5 of the shichibukai together ready for war.

And this chapter makes me hate the WG even more. It seems to me that the main reason Ace is being executed is because Roger is his father. That's such a horrible reason to kill someone. I bet they would've killed him as a baby if they'd gotten the chance.

I think if BB or Doflamingo save ace, it wont be intentional. I cant think of a good reason why they would want to save Ace. But if they do something big against the WG, i can see them unintentionally saving him.
