For months, Season 2, 2nd Voyage had 67 - 79 for the episodes. It was change today, with the information for Season 2, Part 3 came out. And also we got commentary on Episode 90 (Chopper joins the crew episode) on Season 2, Part 3.
-
Awww well, now y'allz too sissy to stand filler can skip a who entire set if need be without that one tiny canon episode on one set!
-
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Chris Sabat is right and they're…how can I be charitable here...obfuscating the truth.
Dragonball set 1 ISN'T HAPPENING people!
This is a valid point. Even the blog/twitter guy was like "Hey, we're announcing something at Anime Expo you already know about!"

Hmm, Robin gets her first Commentary, that's nice. I'm not surprised, it means that Season 2 third voyage is everything Chopper, well, it should be.

He's actually a she. I met at Anime Expo last weekend, she's really nice. If anyone's going to an anime con in the near future see if you can meet up with her.

Cool.
We have to put up with one set that comes a little short, but now the episodes line up again.
Before they did that 14 Episode set, everything lined up perfectly. Season 2 2nd Voyage had exactly Little Garden on it without crossing into Drum, 3rd Voyage had EXACTLY Drum on it without crossing over into Arabasta, and the next set would then logically start Arabasta, and then the sets would line up perfectly so that the next 3 sets are Arabasta perfectly, then the following set is EXACTLY the Post-Arabasta Filler, and then the very next set would the the EXACT Start of Jaya. Now that they've done one set of Twelve, the stars are realigned and everything is perfect again.

My replacement copy of Season 2, First Voyage came in the mail today. And I check the episode that give me problem on previous copy (Episode 57 wouldn't work on my previois copy). And it works prefectly. Now I'm going back to watch the set.
-
The issue that everyone is forgetting is that we need movies 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 done. Especially 2 and 4.
-
The movies'll have to wait for another time. I'd rather get through the series first.
I've tried asking Rojas and Lance on TZ about when new seasons can be bought but it there has been no reply yet…
-
Hey guys I was thinking about the all filler box set and all well maybe it could have a tin to hold all of season 2 or something so some people would buy it.Like it could be a treasure chest where you could put all your voyages in
-
According to someone on toon zone, One Piece is back on CN AU. They also said that after episode 195 airs on Sept 2, it will go back to episode 170. I can't tell if this is true or not because CN AU's website is being renovated and their schedule is not working. Who knows, maybe some G8 or early episodes after a couple more skypeia runs?
-
I wish CN US could be awesome, too.

I wish CN US could be awesome, too.
I agree. But unfortunately, I think CN here in the US is past the point of no return. In this past year or two CN has been slowly destroying and choking the life out of its older fanbase in order to attract a younger fanbase with shows that insult the intelligence of most people over the age of 5. coughFlapjackcough.
Anyways, IMO CN would need to pull off a very big miracle to redeem itself.

I agree that an incentive would be a great idea for the filler box set, but I the a treasure chest would probably be too big for packaging. Someone mentioned the idea of packing a strawhat flag with the set. I would definitely buy that.

Right Stuf has updated and it seems that the evil Nami twin behind Luffy will stick to the release.
-
i wonder if the davy back fight evil clone part will stick in the dvds too.

Someone really needs to E-mail FUNi…
-
I'm not sure how much they respond to the public address. Doesn't Quexinos have a rather more direct one?
-
Someone can always print out, circle, and mention it a con. Isn't there one this weekend? I am sure if you talk to someone directly, they can pass it to the right person. Hard to overlook someone right there talking than another e-mail. Meh.

Yeah, Otakon is this weekend.
Mike McFarland is gonna be there too.http://www.apforums.net/showpost.php?p=1189093&postcount=25
Already got it covered XD

It's not like Funi to make that kind of mistake, especially when they are the one who are doing the box art.
-
I reported the box art mistake, that is kind of a big one to miss :P
-

Reported to who? Do we have an E-mail?
If we send enough E-mails, they can't ignore us.
-
I passed it a long to someone else who can get it to where it needs to go. There is apparently a report function they have but he couldn't remember where it is >_> If I find out I'll post it here.
-
I'm skeptical, gotta say.
-
Of what?
I know someone who works there and I told them to bring it to someone's attention. If that's what your skeptical about. Never told me about the report email though, I'll ask in a bit.
-
No need to e-mail them. It's so noticeable, I'm sure someone at FUNi will realize the mistake.
-
Probably better not to assume that.
-
I wouldn't say it's not noticeable. I overlooked it the first few times.
-
I suppose this is the art department's way of getting back after Rojas kicked the crap out of them in a competition…
-
So, I heard about movie 8 at RedBox recently. I was getting gas and saw movie 8 right on the featured movies list. Mind Watchmen and Coraline where at the top and it was at the very bottom. Fact of the matter is it's on the front page and this RedBox is VERY popular. There's always people at it. There was actually a line there tonight when I spotted it… and it's Sunday night.
-
Every Redbox I've ran into in Louisville had it. Most of the time it was at the very bottom where the kids movies were, but there was a few where it was in the middle-ish. In Indianapolis, I've only seen it once, and it was near bottom again. Its at the same Walmart that carried the first season and the movie, but stop carrying it soon after.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere but RightStuf is going to start selling the Portrait of Pirates figures. I'm assuming these are straight from Japan and not sub-licensed through Toynami or something.

-
Rightstuf also got Sogeking, Sanji, and Bon Clay up for preorder. As well the chibis of Robin, Luffy, Nami, and Zoro
-
SOOOO EXCITED!
HobyLinkJapan has them for cheaper but I do like supporting RightStuf.
-
I got my Chibi Robin POP cheaper on amazon for $24.95.
-
I don't like chibi's :( i hope we will get a actual size luffy sooner or later
-
HobbyLinkJapan has them.
-
Well, that's just freakin weird. There was someone at the FUNi panel at Anime Expo who asked if they were going to start selling the Portrait of Pirates figures over here.
Ask and ye shall receive?
-
Ask them for One Piece to come back on TV. Do it now! I wonder if that had anything to do with it. When was the expo? I can't imagine they'd get it approved so soon.
-
I'm sure they are well aware of us wanting One Piece back on TV.
The problem is not them, it's finding a network that will play it.
-
I have an update on the CN AU TV airings. It seems that they are airing Luffy vs Eneru eps again every Thursday at 10:15pm. Foxtel is still rating it "G" even though they are uncut. Since they can get away with airing uncut, why don't they pick up some earlier funi eps? I can't believe that they are still airing show all together since they haven't had new eps in months.
-
If they want to put OP back on TV the best thing for the fans would be to start it later in the series, I have no idea where it stopped at when it actually was on TV (Alabasta? before?) but if they continued after that it would be nice.
Depending where they would start it at though could possibly turn away new fans because they wouldn't know what was going on.
It's a little too much for CN but not enough for AS. Dammit CN you need your old Saturday nights back DX
I do hope they can bring over some POPs as well. If they could make them any cheaper (even if they don't, to be able to go to a STORE and buy them would be nice) that would be a plus too.
They probably don't think the fanbase is big enough to do so, it's not exactly something that would fly off the shelves at Wal-Mart.
There is an anime store here that does stock POPs and other OP figures/Dvds/CDs/stuff from time to time, but they import the stuff themselves from Japan and end up charging full japanese retail (or more) value for everything (which in Japan, the consumers pay a bit more for stuff then we are used to paying @_@)
-
In Australia it ended at the conclusion of Skypeia. In America there was still quite a bit of skypeia left when they stopped, they ended at 167.
-
Oh wow I had no idea it got to Skypiea, I stopped watching before Alabasta XD
Hmmm it might not be TOO confusing if they started it right before W7. Or just restarted Skypiea.
-
Cartoon network ran funi's version of jaya/skypeia over seven months from '07 till '08.
At this point, starting at the beginning but showing it daily for a while (like DBZ used to) would probably work better.
-
If they do it daily during the week, starting at the beginning would be a little more tolerable then weekly episodes @_@ They just can't do it weekly and start at the beginning all over again, that's torture.
Or atleast start around when they enter the Grand Line or something. If they went that route they might run out of content if they started back at Jaya.
-
For the US, anyway. I think it's still fresh in the mind enough in australia to start at G8.
-
hmmm so i right and that person who was saying i was a noob was wrong he he… So i guess this is a good thing it also proves that cn au most want this bad for some reason and is cn au's president the same as na's prez?
