@Ivotas:
Quite simple. If he'd be a Logia then he'd simply become the element at the one end of the Hydra he's standing at and turn back into his normal body at the other end of the Hydra. But during that time you shouldn't see him in his normal form because he would have completely become that element.
Also the fact that Luffy could hit him strikes as an argument against a Logia. I'm sure that when Stephen translates it, it won't be "his body is poison" but rather "his body is covered in poison". Because the latter is exactly the reason why nobody would touch Magellan. Not because they couldn't touch him but because they but themselves at danger at doing so.
And the most important reason why it can't be Logia, Magellan has different kinds of poison he's using. I mean if he's just one element, then he should be just one poison type. However he has lots of differnt poison in different conditions even. Furthermore he doesn't only use liquid but also poison gas. If he's Logia, why doesn't he become poison gas too? I mean if poison counts as an element then it shouldn't matter whether its liquid or gas so Magellan should be able to become gas too. That would be a big difference over other Logias. Ace is just lame. He's not lava. Kuzan is just ice. He's not water. Crocodile is just sand. He's neither rock nor earth. So for Magellan to be a Logia he should also be just one type of poison which would be impossible considering that he has a huge selection of different poison types in his body. No matter how you look at it there's too many arguments against the ability being a Logia.
I see. A very well reasoned and supported argument, but i'm not sure that it solidifies the fact that he can't be a logia.
I'll say now i really don't prefer one outcome over the other. I also realize with the support the paramecia option has behind
it, that's probably the much more likely outcome at this point.
But just for arguments sake, i'd like to point out a few things.
First, Take a look at Blackbeard; every other Logia we've seen has the power of intangibility (well, when not being attacked by haki or whatever else it is that allows Logia's to be hit), except for him. So even though the venom road explanation might apply perfectly to Kizaru or whoever else, it doesn't necessarily prove anything.
That same rule could apply to the different kinds of poison argument you make as well. The thing with that argument though is, i'm not sure you're not getting too technical and specific there. If devil fruits where so rigid and clear and defined in their existence, you might logically think there would only be one type of snake devil fruit. Or that the method in which each and every logia is able to execute their powers would be identical.
I dunno. For me, i just don't see that it's certain either way. Just my extremely critical nature at work i guess.
