Forget about a cerberus, BB ate the Oni Oni no Mi - Model Asura. He has three human heads that rotate around a single neck and can grow 4 extra arms!
Just kidding, I very much prefer the theory that 3 heads in the flag represent the fates. Shanks scar can come from many things, for all we know it was an attack with a broken bottle picked mid-fight by BB. We'll see what it means that he has an abnormal body when the time comes, but it's probably something inherent to him and not related to the devil fruits; the Yami Yami no Mi allowed him to draw WB's powers out since it's gravity, not necessarily to absorb and hold them.
I think throwing a punch and changing it into a claw while in the way, effectively changing the danger level and maybe the reach too would be considered a surprise attack. If he had been using a partial transformation for longer than a few instants in the fight Shanks would have known that he had a devil fruit already and who knows if other people nearby too.
It's not the fact of using the devil fruit that is the cheap shot, but the how, and it's not in anyway forbidden in a battle between pirates. It's just that Shanks' words imply that it was not a cheap shot but a fair attack that managed to hurt him.
As for shanks scar, when have we ever seen Teach fight with a claw like weapon or with a knife, let alone three knives.
The fact that teach relies so much on his devilfruit ability, I dont see how in the world he wouldve managed to injure a yonkou without the use of any devil fruit whatsoever, how in the world couldve Teach injured shanks before he had his darkness fruit?
We know nothing of how he fought before getting the darkness fruit, and the thing is, he did injure Shanks before he had his darkness ability. He only obtained it recently, putting in motion his plans after many years waiting patiently. We know he was in WB's crew already in the time of the fights between WB and Roger, since WB mentions him during his flashback. He has been in the crew of the strongest Yonkou for more than 20 years, and even if he did try to remain unknown, I doubt you could survive there without being an exceptional fighter by yourself. Shanks said that when BB injured him he wasn't being careless; I take it as meaning that BB was able to injure him in a fair fight, not using some strange tricks like a partial transformation in zoan.
Besides, shouldn't WB's crew have noticed that he had a devil fruit before he ate the darkness one, if just from the fact that he couldn't swim? You would have to be extremely careful not to fall in the water for 20 years living as a pirate. Or later, why hasn't he combined the powers of his zoan with the darkness fruit? Draw them in then slash with a claw, for example, would be more effective than draw them in then punch, wouldn't it?
Would this work as Ivankoved Brownbeard?
!
I'm not too convinced about the Cerberus Zoan theory, though the number 3 is indeed a characteristic of BB.
On the subject of Shanks' scar, rather than animal claws from a zoan couldn't it have been caused by BB holding 3 (yet another 3, yes) knives in one hand with the edges coming from between his fingers, or him using a claw-like weapon? I would think that Shanks was wary of BB simply because an apparent nobody in WB's crew managed to hurt him, and Shanks is one of the stronger pirates in the world.
Don't forget that with the StrawHats the ship itself is considered to be a nakama, with the Merry going to rescue them at the end of Ennies Lobby.
It will probably be a naval battle with the Sunny vs San Juan Wolf, before landing somewhere and having the individual battles.
i disagree with every point.more…i think characters in one piece change mind, and this is what i like
crocodile standing against akainu, with marco and other commanders is awesome
The 9 alignments system was created for D&D where the very structure of the world was based on it. Real people (or One Piece characters) can be classified in it roughly, and it's not that hard to see people moving from one alignment to another.
Croc started as neutral evil because on one hand he was playing within the system and using his power as a shichibukai to look good on the outside, while on the other he was creating a revolution to overthrow the stablished government in arabasta, all to satisfy his plans. His actions in this war are more and more going in a chaotic neutral direction, fighting the law (the WG) and not clearly acting for himself alone anymore.
The alignement system was based on two axis, good-neutral-evil and law-neutral-chaos, and thus allowed for nine combinations:
Lawful Good: Honorable persons, who want to protect everyone from evil and uphold law and truth at the same time, which can lead to conflict in determining the right thing to do. - Garp -
Lawful Neutral: The law is absolute for this people, and won't care about the morality of their actions while upholding it. - Akainu, Sengoku -
Lawful Evil: The tyrants. Laws exist to be used against others and in self-profit. - Spandam, Arlong -
Neutral Good: These are people that fight for good, and while they will try to uphold the law while they can they won't hesitate to break it for the greater good. - Smoker? -
True Neutral: The undecided. They don't hold any value as absolute and will act as the situation calls. Ocasionnally could also be people trying to find a balance in all things. - most people fits here -
Neutral Evil: People who care only for themselves, and will take from others as they see fit, but won't go out of their way to harm others. - Crocodile -
Chaotic Good: People who will do good whenever possible, but have no respect whatsoever for the law - The Strawhat crew -
Chaotic Neutral: People who want to overthrow stablished order, or just live their lives as they want in freedom. - The Revolutionaries, Whitebeard and his crew -
Chaotic Evil: The destroyers. These people will not hesitate to take what they want from others without any regards, and may attack others just for the sake of battle and destruction. - Blackbeard and co, many other pirates -
Siamese brothers can go from having almost independent bodies with a small point of union (a shoulder, the top of the head, etc) to sharing most of the body. If BB is a siamese with enough differentiation from his twin that each have several independant organs, but are still tied together, then it could work. It has nothing to do with body volume.
