To those discussing the possibilities of the shadow creature on page 15, it turns out there are two shadows there. Since the other shadow is only a partial, I can't tell what type of creature it is, but they both make the same noise (hint: look carefully at the directions the sound bubbles are pointing).
Of course, since I'm not sure what type of sound is being made, it could always just be a "step" type of sound that each of them is making… :ermm:

Yeah I am really hyped for next chapter. I look forward to Hancock's conversation with not only Ace, but Jinbei as well. Both being former slaves (well, I presume Jinbei was) and all, t'would be an interesting reunion. What I was wondering though, is how would she discuss that or relate to it at all while in front of the Marines and Jailers? It is a secret after all. What if Jinbei recognized her and she got scared the secret would get out. Meh, just thinking out loud.
I don't really buy Jinbei being a spy. But a reason that Sengoku could be in the dark about it is Jinbei is spying under another WG official orders. Like the 5 old men or something.
One thing I noticed after I reread the chapter with better scanlations and noone have seem to mentioned so far.

If you check them closely you can see they are far from the local fodder the prisoners on level 1 were. It shows that these man here have "strength" and individual specific characteristic common when a mangaka wishes to display that a certain person isnt just a number but something more.So its interesting to take al look around to check them also noticing interesting possible pirate crew marks and it should be really interesting to see the prisoners on level 3, 4 and so on.
We should probably see a few less and some giants among them as well to further on graduate the meaning behind levels…

Your bounty doesnt reflect your strenght. Only becaus you're 100 times stronger then someone else doesnt mean that your bounty is higher. Just look at Blackbeard, he's probably one of the strongest pirates we've seen. But he didnt even had a bounty.

I remember people in the spoiler thread going nuts over Jinbei's design. I personally don't see anything special about it. Just seems overly sized, but no real cool features (yet).
As for the chapter, looks like they will be on floor 2 for a bit longer than expected. They got to now deal with "the boss" and then find a way down. That's likely 2 chapters minimum (1 to introduce boss and the 2nd to defeat the boss).
All in all, still good stuff.

I dont think so, the reasons given are way flawed. That said Luffys bounty could go up by a huge amount because of the Tenrubito affair. Remember they were willing to spend 500 mil, aka pocket money, on mermaid for fun. I can imagine the conversation between Tenrubito and admirals regarding Luffy not being caught yet.

Hmmmm CP9 steals a marine ship at the finale of their cover story. Perfect for crossing the calm belt, sailing that current that leads to ID or MHQ, or just good for fooling marines that would be hunting them. They'll definitely show up in the main story again probably in the NW. I'd be shock if it's in the war though…..

I'm not sure how badass Jimbei will be if he's not in truth a spy(whether for Dragon or marines it doesn't matter). so far he's portrayed as a good guy with what he has said to Ace. Seems like Oda's goin for the angle that Fisher Tiger was his hero and he probably told him something like "the only way fishmen will be able to truly live free is if it's with humans in a peaceful world"" or some naive bullshit like that.

Anyway, about Impel Down arc going for a year… I believe that by "Impel Down" Oda also meant the part with Marineford, up to the beginning of the big fight with Whitebeard. I don't believe that Luffy will be able to save Ace before that. Momonga probably won't sit idly with a possible riot at hand, he'll probably issue Ace's emergency transfer to Marineford.
The reunion of the Straw Hat crew will probably go down at Marineford.

Sailing off into the sunset with the government trailing you does not give off a feeling of a finale. Think of how much Luffy has grown over time. When the Cipher Police return they will be GODS. The only skills that they have are killing, bartending, shipwrighting, clerical duties and killing. They are built up from childhood killing machines. They have received training from probably the best the government has to offer. Lucci and the gang will not be sitting on their asses on their time off. I personally can't wait for Kaku. He obtained a brand new Devil's Fruit and nearly mastered it in under ten minutes. He is going to be a master Zoan.And frankly, I believe that we might get another Eneru coverstory. The whole idea of Space Pirates truly needs to be expanded upon. I wouldn't be surprised if Eneru's coverstory was used a a way to introduce us to Space Pirates so that Oda can use them later as antagonists in the story. And we will all look back in awe…

Yeah it was obvious and was stated the first time the ID guards were introduced. This prison is a shame. Prisoners are food for mutant beasts they are tortured. Yeah i guess the marines are real evil to accept things like that. My prediction is that this "concentration camp" will be crushed at the end of this arc. We don't know what happened, who was sent to capture him, or how. So far all we know is that a Vice Admiral was sent to collect Hancock, and he was shown to be extremely powerful by killing a Calm Belt Sea King by himself. Likely they sent a Vice Admiral to collect Jinbei as well, and after some fighting Jinbei was "captured". Jinbei might have been captured by a single Vice Admiral – which would be somewhat fitting given his bounty, I suppose -- or he might have been captured by a good group of VA's, Captains, and Vice Captains. Either way, having someone of his calibur (at least VA level) would be useful, no? I mean if you are waging a war where every extra hand makes the difference, wouldn't having someone who can probably throw a house at you be a welcome addition??
Yeah but where is the plan? What is the strategy? Lock WB with ace and kill him is too simple considering that he is the strongest man in the world. Unless WB isn't it anymore. Unless the marines know something about the WB pirates (well look at the marines now they don't even know where the WB pirates are now. They don't even know which pirates joined WB) All these signs are foreshadowing the end of the marines. If all the marines are so strong why didn't they attacked WB before in the NW?
