My that was fast. Vearth FTW, Sea prism stone is alright.
geez. with these airing more than once a week, we'll be done here soon. o_o
thanks bf.
Anyone else notice the title? It read 'God', however when Luffy read it out he said 'Sky Lord'.
hoo, baby
Tomorrow's will be a doozy.
Thanks, Battle Franky!
Damn, Eneru is gets me more cold chills down my spine in the dub now, when he attack Gan Fall, and Robin. Great Episode, we are now getting closer to Luffy Vs. Eneru round 1 from the looks at the next episode preview.
as always, thank you battle franky
I almost forgot how much of an asshole Eneru was. Funi Eneru has completely won me over. 10 out of 10!
Thanks Battle Franky!
He said it! In the next episode preview at least.
It's not that people fear God, God is fear itself!

That was such a great line when he said it in Ultimate Adventure (after reviving himself for another round). Glad it made it in here.
But yeah… Fairy = Endless? Small loss, but more than made up for by the inclusion of Enel's sexist line when he fries Robin. That might not make it in to the uncut version though.
Thanks BF! Man, Eneru's speech had me on the edge of my seat!

This is the uncut version, though…
Thank you so much Battle Franky! This episode along with the next 3 are some of my most favorite episodes in OP. And man, seeing them in english is just awesome!
Kinda thrown for a small loop w/ the whole "Sky Lord" mention in the title, but meh. XP Eneru was just plain awesome in this episode. His speech about the Endless Vearth, his confrontation with Gan Fall (in and out of the flashback), Zoro, and Wyper. Seriously, Eneru has the best villian voice so far, and I'll go out on a limb and say that no other villain will have such an epic voice. XD What else is there to say? Nothing much. Can't wait for the next episodes…this week is gonna be awesome. ^^

Wow, that would have pissed off the south.
Haven't watched yet, but I must add that Tatum does a fantastic job playing Eneru. I loved seeing how much a prick he was in the manga and the anime, but seeing it all it a good English dub is even better.
It's obvious, but Luffy called him "Skylord" even though it said god in the title. I have a feeling the main cast might end up redubbing a lot of this arc if they end up reaching it in the dvds anyway tho.
The dub dialogue makes it a lot clearer WHY Ener is destroying Skypiea and it still makes virtually no sense to me. "I'm god, so I'm gonna blow this place up now!"

Yeah its episode 182 where luffy starts to fight eneru

Enel knows it's not Natural for human beings to live in the Sky
Humans were supposed to live on Earth
As God, he sees it as his Duty to correct this.
and he's a total ass
but I love him, so it's okay
It's most likely TV dub dialogue intermixed with uncut dialogue and visuals.

I understand WHY, it's just not a very compelling reason.
Not to mention, the whole thing about him seeking Endless/Fairy Vearth has nothing to do with it and seems kinda random to even mention during the speech. My major problem with this arc(besides the flashback pacing and lack of music during the end fight) was Ener's motivation for destroying Skypiea. It just seems like a flimsy reason to destroy an entire nation.
Hmm….
Okay guys I got the answers you wanted.
Those who said Funi never edited past 175 were correct. Well sort of, the edited for 175-180 was done, but the episodes were never spliced together. I can't reveal my source however. Toei did pay Funi to edit through 206 so they are still editing them slowly just in case it gets picked up again in the US.
So we're looking at uncut for a while now ^_^
Hmmm…
Episode 180
Showdown in the Ancient Ruins! God Eneru's Goal!
Hmm…think I'm onto something?

Personally, I felt that Eneru's motivation was spot on. I mean, he wants to make everything "natural" and the only way to do that is return what doesn't belong in the sky back to the sea/ground, which he found to be the duty of God. As for mentioning Endless Vearth, it was just him further explaining why he didn't need Skypiea anymore. Though I do agree w/ the lack of bgm in the final fight. -__-
Yeah, he sees maintaining Natural order as his Duty.
To him, Humans Belong on the Earth, and God Belongs in the "Fairy Vearth" (The Moon) so he strives to make this so.
It's not just that but him choosing to do it NOW of all times? What has changed since Luffy and his crew arrived that made him decide to do this all now?
And Ener seemed to be just fine having all the Skypieans grovel underneath him for someone who feels like they're causinga huge afront to god by existing.
It's a reason, it's just not an amazingly clever one to me. I never cared for the DESTROY THE ENTIRE WORLD type of villainy.
Why now?
Pretty sure it was because the Maxim was just completed that day, as he indicates when explaining about how he killed the original Enforcers (somehow he failed at that though). It's just a wonderful plot coincidence that the Strawhats arrived when they did and not a week later, at which point there'd be nothing left, and with no way to set the log pose, they'd be stuck on Jaya forever.
Admittedly though, his megalomaniacal motives are pretty boring, despite the epic way in which he tries to fulfill his goal.
^Yep. The Strawhats seem to have a knack for showing up at EXACTLY the right time.
Anyway, loved the episode, but I'm achin' for some Luffy pwning Eneru action.
I really wonder where the hell Eneru came from. He must of have had a preacher for a father.

You forget Ao Kiji, this guy thought he was God. A supreme being wo had control over life and death. Therefore, the lives of all the Skypian people were insignificant compared to to his duty of setting the natural order. To him, the entire nation was an ant. Therefore it was no big deal destroying it.
I know, he was a delusional bastard.

It was a neighbouring Sky Island wasnt it?
Pretty sure he killed everyone there before he left for Skypiea
He was from Bilka, I think's what it was called.
The download keeps snagging at "your download is starting", and doesn't progress.
I've tried it several times, and tried ep 181, and that worked.
