@Aldrich:
Uh no, it does have a pattern, and the easiest pattern to figure out at that.
I don't really call "staying right up next to you and blasting at you" a pattern. And when I screw attack away, it screw attacks right into me. It's one of the fastest, smallest bosses in the game.
Well um… look on the the bright side! You said you thought Yakuza was easy, while I thought it was a pain in the ass. =]
Yeah, but you beat it eventually didn't you (and got to save afterwards)? So it's not like it's giving you anymore trouble.
It gives you plenty of time when it signals that it's going to attack, which is why I guess I found it easy.
Anyway, as I've already said, forget it. Sheesh, I guess I should never disagree with Metroid fans as to what the hardest boss is (they have it all charted down or something). But you all do realize that different people are good/bad at different things don't you? I was good at the spider, but not at the SA-X. It's simple as that.
I mentioned that I didn't have problems with the spider. Other people did, I accept that. But for whatever reason, people can not accept the fact that I'm horrible against the first form of the SA-X. They always have to say something like "it's a proven fact that it's the easiest boss ever" or something.
EDIT: Since this discussion made me angry, I decided to try it again. I finally beat the game. But I will not retract my statement that the first form of SA-X is hard. I don't care how many people say they can prove it.
