If I were to pair them up, I'd put LuffyxNami together, ShanksxRobin (we don't know if they've met but I think they'll look good together. He might need a helping hand xD), UsoppxKaya, ZoroxTashigi, Sanji will always be chasin' skirts IMO, and uh,…who did I miss?

I don't know really. Possibly, but then again they are "nakama", and have a strong bond of friendship. It might just be that, and if anything their friendship grows stronger. Have to wait and see really. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Sanji tries to make a move on her when they re-group and she just brushes him off like always.
Besides, never really like the idea of a Sanji pairing. He works best chasing skirts IMO.

Hell I think one of the cutest couples around is SmokerXTashigi…yes I really support this pairing.
Along with ZoroXRobin and LuffyXNami...Sanji is obviously gonna end up with Bon Clay.

Luffy x Nami, I certainly think, not necessarily marriage but couplehood.
Used to think it would go Zoro x Robin, but Water7 makes me wonder about Sanji x Robin.
Of course, Usopp x Kaya,
and Chopper is forever relegated to the sadness that for a human to sleep with him would kinda be bestiality, whereas for him to sleep with another reindeer would… kind of also be bestiality, given he's got human intelligence, and reindeer... don't. Poor kid.

I say that Nami and Usopp would be good together if Kaya never existed. But alas, she does. Anyhoo, the only other ones I see are Luffy and Nami, and of course, Sanji and Gin XP.

Actually, I visited a site and now I've been seduced by the LuffyxNami side. It makes a little bit of sense. -
I see a possible Love Quadrangle(Square, possibly Trapezoidal) between Sanji loving Nami, Nami loving Luffy, Luffy loving Adventure!, and Adventure! loving them all equally.

Honestly I don't see any real pairings happening within the storyline of One Piece. There are no canon romantic relationships now, whether Oda decides to ever go in that direction is unknown. However my personal favorites are this one, and this one. XD

no… Zoro just straight up tries to avoid her. i like the possibility of him and Robin being together, it would be a more mature relationship for one... which is why it probably won't happen in One Piece. i'd even settle for them being more... friends? maybe after this arc they might interact more... (one can hope)
and no, Smoker is not too old for her, she's about my age I think, and I sure as hell wouldn't mind being with an older man.... and Smoker is a sexy man....

I just think Luffy is way too oblivious to really develop a relationship with anyone. If he did though, I'd pick Vivi. Who better to suit the pirate king than a princess?

I've seen in some forums clubs for couples and /or characters.. but there isnt any here ..is it not allowed or something?
Becasue, I think this way people won't argue everytime about what pairing works or what not.. that way all the same fans will gather in one thread , and so on. -
You know, I don't think anyone ever bringing the club thing up before, or if they did, it was so long ago I don't remember it. I'm not sure on that one, I'll ask and get back to you.
Edit: 'Kay, general consensus on pairing/character clubs is no, mainly because we don't see the point. If you want to publically support a couple/character, you can do so with avatars and sigs. Which people do. So… yeah.

Well, there's plenty of clubs out in LJ land. :) I don't see why people have to fight about pairings. There are no canon pairings in One Piece, so anything is just as valid and non-valid as the next. But OP fandom is pretty good, not like some other fandoms where people take violent physical action against those that think differently. Or write angry threatening letters to the original author for not writing the way they want. How self-absorbed can you get.

Pairings I go for:
Usopp x Kaya
Smoker x Tashigi.Pairings I dislike:
Luffy x anyone. Goldenweek x anyone. Hatchi x anyone (exception for tentacle-rape comedy).
Zoro x Tashigi. Even if Tashigi is or is related to Kuina, their relationship ran differently.Pairings which make me truly sick to support:
Arlong x Nami. The possibilities for psychological torture are spectacular.
Pairings which could be fun:
Sanji x Alvida. Just until we see Sanji realise "You're the crap-fatso who fought with Luffy?"
Califa x Lucci. Hot.

I used to be more of a UsoppxKaya fan, but over time I lost a lot of interest due to Kaya not being in the story for 370 chapters :/ Plus the fact that I can't bear the thought of the story coming to an end with the crew breaking up. I like to think they'll all stay together forever. If the world situation changes and Kaya decides to ride along with them out to sea, than that's a different story. Reminds me of a fanart I've been meaning to do for a loooong time. XD
(But UsoppxNami is what makes me squeeee ^_~ I started to like that idea way back in Arlong Park)

The contrast between Luffy's hyper, carefree personality and Robin's laid-back, quiet, patient and tolerant personality would make them a good match theoretically. Luffy acts all crazy and Robin just chuckles and smiles, unlike everyone else who freaks out and hits him. XD

Yeah, but there's no LJ comm for Chopper alone, when he's the cutest Mugiwara out there. boggles
Bugger it. His age makes him off-limit. And, oh, his species too. I tend to see him as the pet/kid brother of the whole family, so putting him into pairings only serves as a source of crack. Fine crack, that is. :)

To stay on Topic, besides Luffy/Robin, I also like Luffy/Nami, Sanji/Nami. -
I like Zoro and Nami together, because I ADORE their chemistry. I'm a huge fan of the "love/hate" pairing dynamic, where you have strong personalities clashing, but at the same time, they still care for each other. I also think that they would understand each other's sense of loss quite well, considering their pasts.
But I'm also a huge fan of SanjixNami. I feel that they also have chemistry. Sanji, while he is a lady's man, still seems to genuinely care for Nami beyond his girl craziness. And Nami would do well with him, they would just work well together…I could totally see them opening a restaurant after One Piece is said and done.
Obviously people are going to disagree with me, but...shrugs Don't bother arguing, since you'll be arguing to a wall. One thing I'm not a fan of is pairing wank. I realize that people might not see the pairings I like, just as there are many pairings I definitely don't get. But as others have said...there are NO canon couples, and there will most likely never will be because that's not what the story is about. In fandom land, every pairing is fair game, because it's all for fun anyway.

He also took her out the window to the Straw Hats.
I think it would be cute. The WG already had them paired anyways.
