hmm this Eddie business is confusing
! In Spectacular spiderman v2 #5 the symbiote joins a dying cancer suffering Eddie in what seems like is the last time the symbiote can ever merge with anyone. Then in Marvel Knights #10 he gives the symbiote to the Angelo kid, and in #12 he slits his wrists, but if Eddie was Venom's last merge like he said, how did Brock get him off.. it's all very confusing, oh well.
I think people should wait to actually see the movie before they judge Venom, trailers won't show what he looks like in motion the majority of the time, and to be honest people don't give Topher Grace enough credit, he's at least as talented as Tobey Mcguire and I really think he can pull off this role because just like batman: begins, superman returns, x-men, spiderman new movies, the choice of actors has been getting progressively better (the movies themselves may suck, but the actor choices are good) etc.
about the venom comic book stuff. That is cause Mark Millar doesn't give a fuck about continuity. His words not mine, he wrote that Marvel Knights story that was a decent story except for the fact that it really didn't fit into continuity at all.
