@Kidany:
That's because the move Ryumma was doing to Zoro was specifically meant for attempting to break swords, a "weapon breaking" technique if you will. It's not because his attacks were "just that strong." Zoro even commented on it. Either way the Ryumma that Zoro fought was not stronger than Kaku.
EDIT: Here's the page.
I'd imagine if Kaku possessed the power to cause the same thing, that would've happened. Zoro also commented on his swords breaking if the fight continued any much later on. As for Zoro needing 2-swords to beat him, it didn't seem like there was anything else he could aside from the Dragon Flame to purify him, as even Rashomon failed to do anything to his body.
Except Kaku didn't have that technique so it doesn't really matter. Just because a weapon breaking move happened to be used against Zoro doesn't automatically make Kaku weaker. Besides, Zombie Ryumma was basically a stronger Brook so those techniques are also his; although I doubt we'll see them at the same magnitude of strength.
Concerning the 2 swords thing, the fact is that he only needed that many. Had Zoro used 3 swords I'm sure the fight would've gone alot smoother, but we'll have still gotten that final move because the Ryumma there was a zombie. So nothing short of purifying or burning the body is going to end the fight, and Zoro's Flying Dragon Blaze just happened to be able to do the latter.
EDIT: Odz did have his spine broken, but I'm sure you can see why that would be a different case. Plus maybe about a minute later the shadows were taken in for Moria's Shadow Asgard anyway.
Zoro even switched to one-sword style once to finish a fight and it surely wasn't the easiest one. What good is a sword between the teeth going to do him anyway :D

I already addressed that.

Besides there was more to that move considering the original Ryumma was known for slaying a dragon, and being taken out by a dragon-themed technique makes it more dramatic. Plus by what we've seen that's the only move that could've set Zombie Ryumma on fire.
Also, having that extra sword in his mouth is what gives him access to his strongest techniques. I mean 3-sword style is what he's best at of course Zoro would be at his strongest using three swords. Haven't you read this series before?

No, i started only recently and i haven't decided yet if i want to get into it. I've seen pictures of him with a sword in the mouth before but i thought he just had his hands full like when you're back from shopping looking for your keys with one bag between the teeth.

What decides how something breaks if Zoro's swords have no weak point is the amount of force exerted, so unless his techniques is like Chopper's Brain point, he simply output more power with it. Though he used other named techniques and Zoro still had the same complaint.

He has no 3-swords techniques that would set Ryuuma and fire and we don't know if any of his 3-swords techniques would be enough to even create much of a wound consider. it'd be a big leap to say a 108 Pound canon would tear him apart when none of the techniques he displayed could do any real damage.

Enel bless you
Enel bless you all day
I wonder if Zoro would look cooler using one giant sword like Cloud Strife, or would 3 swords be more badass still. Asura wouldn't have as much aesthetic value if it were just 3 giant swords instead of 9 swords in different positions.
Also, I wonder if a separate thread should be made about Zoro, his swords, his fight with Ryuma, and generally a Zoro thread. I mean, the topic is Lucci compared to individual Shichibukai.
Another thing, I think the only reason Crocodile made it into the Shichibukai is because he's got a Logia power. He isn't as strong as the other members.
IMO Crocodile didn't give his best during fighting Luffy thats all

Wow you actually took that comment seriously…either way my point still stands.

Ok so his swords had the potential to be broken…that still doesn't show that Zoro struggled more against Zombie Ryumma than Kaku. Zoro had to use Asura: One Mist Silver to get that clean shot at Kaku that took him out. Even before that Kaku was taking a bunch of Zoro's 3-sword style techniques and still giving Zoro alot of trouble, certainly more than Zombie Ryumma.

Besides I never said if Zoro had three swords he would easily tear Zombie Ryumma apart, read the sentence before the bolded text.
EDIT: I still wonder what techniques Ryumma had while he was alive since all we saw from that fight are moves Brook has.

What a sad thread. One half is still busy spitting on Ryummas grave while the other half is already slamming poor crocodile :(
Crocodile is an evil genius and actually too good for the dirty work of a Schakibuki.

True. Croc is da shit!
Lucci can probably beat up Croc but that's it.
There's no way Lucci could beat Croc because Lucci is is careless.
He lets himself get hit because he's so confident of his Tekkai.
If Croc touch him he's dead meat.

And then again… everyone will be saying Lucci is a CP9 member, he would definitely know Crocodile's powers, therefore he will use water and avoid his attacks.
In a series where each character has their own unique powers (unlike Dragonball Z where people are judged by power level), fights can turn out differently depending on the situation.
A fanfic-like thread would be more interesting, people can come up with different scenarios between different match-ups.

Someone who shares the same opinion
BTW
I don't like people comparing OP to DBZ to.. The original Dragonball series was a great anime (Ten-shin-han vs Goku being one of the best damn fights in manga history IMO), but it really went downhill at the start of DBZ.

That would just end with Luccy walking around in a rubber suit (for enel) carrying a portable firehydrant with hose (for crocodile), an oversized salt shaker (for Aokiji), a fire extinguisher (for Ace), some antigrav jetboots or whatever (for BB) and a fulllenght mirror (for foxy). And whatever other things he may need for other Logias and Paramecias.
The logias fuck up any prediction you could try to make. Their powers are just too broken and gimmicky.
