"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!", yells the announcer, "This is our second semi-final match! Whoever wins this will go on to face Vash for the championship!". The announcer points to the red corner, "In this corner, Lupin the 3rd!!!" Lupin waves as the crowd goes mad. Lupin winks at Fujiko in the audience. The announcer poits to the blue corner, "And in this corner, Piccolo!!!". Once again, the crowd goes wild. However, instead of bathing in the the glory, Piccolo stands there with his arms crossed and maintains a serious stare upon Lupin.
Lupin snickers at Piccolo, "Sorry Mr.Green, but my ultimate fantasy come true is just a mere two fights away. I'll try to make it look good so I don't embarass you too much."
Piccolo doesn't hesitate to answer, "Shut up! The only thing that got you this far was pure luck."
Lupin sticks his hands in his pockets and grins, "No, I'd say it was because of my quick thinking and good looks."
Piccolo sneers, "You're so full of it! Let me give you a quick recap of your huge lucky streak. In your first match, that Rex kid would've shot you. But he forgot to take off the safety switch. If the safety was off, you would've lost right then and there. In your second match against Maito Gai, you would've been toast had your tie landed anywhere else. Lucky for you, your tie fell right over his eyes. Your biggest lucky break was in your third match against Goku, you have your detective friend to thank for that one. The chances of him coming in with that helicopter and crashing into Goku was one out of a billion! Lastly, there's your fourth match against Hughes. You were about to fall out of the ring and lose, but he dropped a picture and dove for it."
Lupin is speechless, "….............."
Piccolo uncrosses his arms and brings them to his sides, "So do you see now? It's all been one huge lucky streak."
Lupin grins again, "Well then, I guess I'll just have to get lucky again!"
Piccolo gets into fighting position, "Fat chance, your luck ends here with me."
