His head looks like it's over his frackin' shoulder, I don't know many people who can do that, without actually breaking their neck…which looks like Ippo just did.

I mean that's good if you're reading all the chapters at once but reading it weekly makes it feel like molasses. So this punch being thrown…hell this punch connecting is a huge leap, believe it or not, of progress for this fight which has been going on since chapter 933.
If he goes down with that punch or sturggles and makes it a long fight, it will be sofuckingboring and lame and anti climactic.
I want that punch to hurt Ippo badly, and from the looks of that pic I'd bet some money on it that he's hurt pretty badly. I believe beforehand they said this match can't go on for long because of Hisato's weight training so Ippo will get back up and power through that injury to win. He'll struggle but I can't see it turning into a long drawn out fight.

This series is definitely not good on weekly reads (not enough goes on).
But sitting down and reading ten (or 20) of these suckers together tells a much better story.
That being said, the art is always good (even if it's just two nigs staring at each other)

You guys are forgetting the off chance that Ippo loses this fight. It could just be that punch really hurt him and he never recovers. A long drawn out fight isn't to my liking with the way the shitty plot progression and Ippo shrugging off the hit after all that build up is just bad writing. Takamura could do that but not Ippo.

wow how many chapters has it taken to throw 1 single punch, not good imo.Currently at volume 60ish i think, he just defended his title for the 6th time.Decided to see the current chapters on stream though and compared to what I've seen the current fight looks to be the worst.

In page 16 it looks like its kojima who got hit but then in the next page we see that's its ippo… did they hit at the same time or am I missing something here... anyway... we finally get a punch thrown in this fight ...I've been waiting for that for weeks, now let's see how it all turns out
