Really poor quality but I guess I can't be picky since its such an awsome chapter. The Zoro vs Kaku fight was intense…who knew he had those things and Jyabura is even more my favourite CP9 member now, His fruit's make Zoan's fun!!! :D

The quality is good , I would rate it MQ we had far worse firtsraw's in the past.
The most surprising thing about this Chapter its to to realise that Kaku actually likes being a Giraffe:

The best thing im going to like about these fights is Usopp against Jyabura. Usopp the king of lies, is fighting the big bad wolf.

nice chapter i only wish the quality was better. :( it's still buggin me how usopp is going to manage to fight Jyabura in that small room since he is a sniper. maybe jyabura is going to punch usopp making him land outside and then usopp would be able to fight to his fullest. i wanted to see what califa's fruit was i'm guessing we will see it next chapter. it's probably the gazelle fruit since the gazelle is a jumping animal when it runs and that ability will enhance califa since she does that double jump thing in the air and will probably be much faster and powerful. that would also let sanji fight her since he doesn't take crap from animal's since he is a cook.

That's exactly what happened he says that he planned to stop at human form but went all the way to giraffe .

Since he just got his abilities i'm assuming that was the problem. i'm sure it took chopper, lucci, jyabura some time to learn how to use their DF. the lion DF wasn't promised but since we are seeing a bunch of african animal's i thought we would see the lion DF at some point. although i doubt oda want's to waste it on some minor opponent like califa. don't get me wrong i really like this arc but there is a bit to much zoan's and i'm hoping we don't have to see them again for a while.

would have prefered the fight between Zoro and Kaku to be a serious one, but this should be great too. Kaku's rankyakus are weird looking, especially the one where he stands on the swords is uber weird…
On another subject - was I the only one who thought the color spread was standard and lame? Didn't impress me the slightest, i feel like i've seen it a thousand times before :( -

So Kaku indeed messed up. That´s classic. And what´s even better that he landed in Jabura´s room and obviously messed it up by doing though. I can already see Jabura howling at him all kinds of "I told you so" or "this wouldn´t have happened if you´d have listened to me" stuff. :laugh:

Ahh got your point. Well I don´t think that if a lion zoan should ever appear it will make the appearance this early in the series. Suits more a final opponent (or even Roger himself (if he ate one)). And I understand your point about the many zoans and I partwise agree with you. But on the other hand if you see those guys as a zoan group then it makes sense. They are martial artists after all so zoan DF powers are actually quite ok because you only transform your body but still are able to use hand to hand/claw to claw/hove to hove etc. combat.

Awesome chapter, Jabs half-animal mode is very badarse.
Kaku wanted to transform to half-animal form but couldn't control himself. This come from the spoilers thread but there is no need to keeep it a secret now. And Jabs was laughing at him from not being able to control his DF.

The coverspread was not one of my favorites, but it reminded me of an old arcade/Super NES game called "Joe and Mac". I remember having a lot of fun playing that game with my friends way back in the day. I also think Luffy should have had a huge shank of meat instead of a club. I really shouldn't complain though since it is a color picture and I can't draw worth a lick myself. I guess I am just anxious to see where the Baroque Works cover story goes.
There should be plenty of space for a two-on-two match between Sogeking and Zoro and Kaku and Jyabura now that Kaku's added a new level to the arena. If the unpredictability of the last few issues is any indication, I would speculate that there may be some "consolidation" of the floors above and below this fight as it continues. It would be amazing if the fighting eventually destroyed enough of the building that the entire crew of the Strawhats (except for Luffy) and CP9 (sans Lucci and Spandam) were facing off in the same fashion they were on top of the courthouse roof.
By the way, I do not believe that Oda had decided to use the giraffe devil fruit when he made this coverspread:
Oda just likes to draw animals and he may have used it for inspiration when he was thinking about Kaku's fruit ability, but it was not part of some overall plan for CP9. If Oda's going to draw inspiration from any other artist though, it should be Salvador Dali. When I saw that Kaku had a giraffe devil fruit and Usopp had developed a Phoenix firestar, I immediately thought of a Dali painting entitled "The Burning Giraffe".
Check the bottom left corner of the painting and you will see my expectations for the upcoming fight in a nutshell.

I`m afraid Lucci might get some Rumble Balls if his absence extends further.i don't think it would do him any good to have rumble balls. chopper trained for a very long time to be able to learn and use all the diffrent abilities that come with the rumble ball. i doubt lucci would eat one and automatically use all the diffrent abilities right away it would make chopper look lame if that was the case.

Just a few minutes ago he was in front of his opponents which might be a little bit dangerous. Is he so self-confident or was it just a feint. But feints don't fit to his style and it didn't look like that for me. How crazy... -
Am I the only one loving the emperors-Groove like scene, where Usopp stares terrified at the chicken, which finally makes a petite "cluck" - causing Usopp to scream in terror. Waking Jabura himself!
