Wow, I'm really behind everybody. I just watched the film yesterday!
Frankly, I'm a teeny bit disappointed.. I'm a huge Nolan fan, and people has been hyping Inception so much that I thought it'd be as good as Nolan's previous masterpiece, Memento. Inception is very good and very smart but.. Memento comes from an entirely different class.
But again, Inception is still an intelligent piece. This proves even more that Nolan can't make a bad film! Shyamalan should be taking notes. :D

Wtf. I was watching the movie, convinced that one of the Basterds was Sylar from heroes. Turns out they're two different guys (Eli Roth and Zachary Quinto) who just happen to look, talk, and act the same way.
Me too! But of course, the way I see it Quinto is still the better actor, although Roth oozes much more hotness as THE BEAR JEW. :wub:
I LOVED the movie btw, this is truly Tarantino's love letter for the Jews.

The live version of 'Nantes' from the Take Away Show, which I tend to think is a lot better than the CD version. Zach Condon's voice is incredible.

I thought it was totally different, especially with its dramatic content. It's more drama than crime, but enough crime to drive you to the edge of your seat. Though I think that's exactly the kind of thing that makes it so appealing - because both the drama and the violence are so raw and human. I freaking love that movie :D
It's definitely more grounded than any Quentin Tarantino movie, and Guy Ritchie always maintains to layer that ironic British humour into his films, and I think that's what makes it a signature entertainment tool for most, if not all, of his films. :P
City of God is actually Brazilian. The language they speak is Portuguese, but only because that's what they speak in Brazil.

Best story ever. I kid you not, this is definitely one of the greatest films of all time.
British crime film with that signature Guy Ritchie-esque style.
Portugese crime drama film about the kids and violence among the lower class in Rio de Janeiro. Beautiful, captivating and ironic all at the same time. Simply epic.
Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Although a lot of people disagreed with the ending, I found this film sexy and brilliantly amusing. It reminded me a bit of Y tu mamá también, somehow.
