You can talk to most Naruto voice actors at Narutofan.com. They are quite sociable and will answer many of your questions. Lately most fans have been extremely appreciative of the Naruto dub lately. I agree with Kiba as well.

You forgot to mention that they complained the themes were replaced and the animation was "pointlessly changed" (A.K.A. improvements from the original TV source to the DVD source).

They even swear a few times (but it's very breif). They have solid voice actors, they keep the blood, the backround music, cultural referance, tobbaco and alcohal reference, and etc. The Naruto dub is basically a very close uncut.
But those Narutards constantly complain about how they mispronounce words and take out nosebleeds. Hell, Viz was even nice enough to give them uncut dvds. But while the Narutards are getting special treatment, we have to deal with 4Kids crap. :sad:

see this is what gets me, people like that complain about nothing pretty much, THEN when a bad dub actualy comes out (AKA One Piece) no one listens -_- they think WE'RE complaing about nothing and it's hard to get though to them.

Just another reason Naruto will seem so much cooler than One Piece in america, for shame 4kids, for shame. Plus the things with the fillers for more than a year thing, they could probably be skipped and go straight into the storyline plot again. Lucky lucky for naruto

If you think that Narutards have easy in America, you should think again. In the UK, the series started on July 22nd and less than one month later (August 21st), they're releasing uncut DVD's. However, I'm not certin if it's a Japanese/English audio DVD or an improved English audio DVD (An exact translation of the Japanese version so you would hear the English Naruto scream Shit once in a while (and maybe no more of that "Believe it!" Shit)) (I'll look at the DVD Box when it comes out and i'll tell you guys what I find). Lucky people, those damned Narutards.
For anyone who cares, One Piece on the other hand, has had three (4shame) seasons aired and another (according to Cinder) airing in September. There's no sign of any DVD's however (
).So Naruto in the UK is better even if only been around for sixteen days. Damn

Well, if you think that's bad, we in the UK don't even get adult swim anymore. It just disappeared about a year and a half ago. Apparently, some time ago, someone wrote a letter of complaint to CN about it, and they replied that it was now illegal for them to show those shows, even after 10! It kind of makes some sense, because for a long time, the schedule kept changing with shows like Outlaw Star (inc. the uncut version of legendary 25th episode), Cowboy Bebop and Big 0 etc. jumping around all over the friggin' place and coming on at random times on random weeks, and then the goverment put a stop to it formally, because CN, Jetix, and Toonami were in the "kid's section" of the cable/satellite services, and COULDN'T air shows like that at any time!! So then it all went and never came back. Even kids shows like the Dragonball series were taken off because they were deemed "too violent" when they had been on for TEN FUCKING YEARS!! And the worst part is we never got stuff like Inuyasha, Lupin III and Yu Yu Hakusho. At the moment, the only decent anime dub airing on TV apart from Naruto is Full Metal Alchemist, which can run completely uncut on Tuesdays and Sundays at 8:30pm, just because it isn't on in the "kid's section"!!! It's absolute madness. So, yeah apart from the bastard One Piece Dub that all English speaking countries must now suffer, IMO America still has it best.

Um, actually Parz, we do get adult swim in the UK. Not on Toonami but on Bravo at 12:00 - 1:00 am every morning. The weekday line-up is Robot Chicken, The Brak Show, Selab 2011 and Aqua Teen Hunger force in a random order. At weekends, they show the same minus ATHF and TBS for The Venture Brothers. It's sad no anime airs but as long as Robot Chicken airs, i'm not complaining

God I remember Outlaw Star, I loved it. It was one of the first animes I watched on Cartoon Network. I was sad when it ended.
I had no idea an episode was skipped, after reading about it on tv.com my now 15-year-old self wants to see it. wink
The Planet Tenrei (?) episode was just fanservice for the male fans. You missed nothing aside from Gene getting his better Castor shells.

Sorry! Yeah I meant the 23rd one, they always showed the whole thing, and Outlaw Star always aired about tennish. In fact, all anime was uncensored, but now it's all gone.

Yeah, those are pretty useless topics. -_- They fill up almost the whole board. It's so annoying. A lot of the members there are just pirate, ninja, and swordman wannabes. My gosh, and they're like, a bunch of pre-teens. Don't they have anything better to do? :getlost: Seriously, imagination's becoming over-rated.
Maybe I'll re-join the helping-the-dubbies bandwagon. When the mods closed my topic about the dub, it ticked me off, so I deleted my account for that. Helping dubbies is hard.

It was an article in Shonen Jump about One Piece Grand Adventure.
They wrote in that (tr)ace ate the gum gum fruit.
I find it damn funny though that any name that has cp9 in it can't be used thanks to you. You do that with the name trace or anything like that, and then we're in business.
